  • Filming from an unusual location while my family packs for our Cabo vacation, I wear my Seiko SPB143 on the OEM MM300 soft strap, talk about how I didn't connect with my oversized Citizen CC5001-00W GPS Promaster Diver, and observe that I've been eating 200 grams of protein every day for 50 years and still going.

I never wanted a smaller watch until I wore the Tudor Ranger 39mm. 7.7in wrist and dig the sizing.

Me too, love my 38mm 62 mas. The Ranger is really cool.

The MM300 strap/143 combo works with that beefcake wrist.

McMahon, thinking about food while on vacation is going to send you down a slippery slope where exotic wine pairings turn into... exotic watch pairings.

Hope you and your family enjoy your holiday. I'm getting about 200grams of protein per day also. Recently got obsessed with grip training. Started off with buying a few Captains of Crush grippers and now I am using buckets of rice and rolling thunders! Stopped me thinking about watches for a while anyway.

Mr,McMahon hope you and your family have a great holiday ! I do think that strap slightly overpowers the SPB143 . I also do think that the next logical step or direction to go in your watch collecting journey is to get a nice SLA limited edition 62mas Seiko . It has to bet a choice between the SLA017 , SLA043 , SLA037 or the elusive SBDX041 !

63 Mas SPB 453, it only make sense.

Move forward into the sla017. Wears larger than the 143 with the dial to bezel ratio. It’s the one. Just ask Mark. 😂

Hope the holiday is enjoyable and revitalising.
The watch potency principle is super helpful. Perhaps you could figure out why we, us, feel the need to buy more and more expensive watches.
I know it's batsh1t crazy. I think the luxury industry is a con with egregious mark-ups. So why am I spending a fortune and thinking about nothing else but watches in my downtime.
Knowledge is the power to solve problems. Why are we behaving like this?

Sorry, McMahon, but I’m in no position to castigate you over your watches at this current time. I’m in the process of unhealthily obsessing over which brands of my fountain pens pair best with which brands of paper. Mainly Japanese fountain pens, of course. Enjoy Cabo. 🇲🇽

Hey McMahon, enjoyed the vid as always. I turned 60 in April and bought myself a brand spanking new Rolex Explorer, the watch I've lusted after for years. How I feel about that purchase 2 and a half months later is a discussion for another day. Short answer: I'm conflicted. Anyway, onto the real topic that interests me. Wow, 200 grams of protein a day for 50 years, incredible. I'm sure I have days where I don't get much over 100, which is probably why, among other reasons, I'm a 180 lb. weakling. My question for you: is it possible for a 60 year old to build muscle, or did that train leave the station long ago? Seems like whatever I do for a workout, nothing works. Curious what your thoughts are as a guy who's 62 and totally jacked. Thanks.

Hello Me Macmahon. I am not surprised you sold the Citizen, it was no match for the powerful Seikos. Hope you an the family enjoy the vacation. I am rocking a Seiko turtle presently. Warm regards

Wore my big, solar G-Shock 6900 today for hitting lats, delts, and shoulders at the gym this morning. I've had about 120g of protein so far today (cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, and lean pork).
I like the idea of talking food. It connects all of us, gotta eat! As an aside, I got burned pretty badly by Seiko's CS on my defective Arnie. It spurred me into looking at another watch that I really wanted. I'm happy to say that an Omega Planet Ocean 42mm will be mine tomorrow. My wallet isn't so pleased, but I am.
    Enjoy the vacation McMahon!

Wearing my new GWF-1000-1JF OG frogman, it’s rad, it instantly tells me whether the tide is good for a swim or a surf sesh, and what the moon will look like when I check the stars with my daughters tonight, also in a secret location. The exchange rate with Japan is advantageous right now. Enjoy Cabo McMahon, Baja life is hard to beat. The Citizen sale was expected. You need either the full lume retrozilla or ecozilla. Again, from a secret location.
