After a long hiatus towards Citizen watches (wearing Seikos for years), recently I aquired a pair of Citizen and am enjoying them very much. The variety, originality and reliability on these things is really something.
My Toyota Corolla is a stick shift. It is fun. Jeffrey remember what school buses were like when you were growing up? Crowns and Gilligs. With 5 or 10 speed transmissions. Screaming Detroit Diesels and Cummins diesels. Talk about Zen, connection and driving. Driving buses for 40 years.
I would like to thank you for sucha a wonderful and enjoyable video Mr.McMahon ! I had a nice 2 hour afternoon nap on a overcast cold day here in India and woke up feeling great, happy and refreshed. I felt like having a cheat meal and decided to have some hot chocolate and a slice of Plum cake or “fruit cake” as they call it in America, while watching this video in a nice rainy evening . Thought this was going to be a video speaking about watches and your collection but it morphed into talking and comparison with cars and manual transmissions ! Seeing my two passions of watches and cars come together in one of my favourite watch channels out there , with my hot chocolate and plum cake cheat meal was a very pleasure experience indeed! I would like to thank you again for make such wonderful, funny and insightful videos you make , which contributes to some beautiful moments in life like i had today! God bless ya and i hope you keep making such videos for a long long time !Also the completely random “You’re fat McMahon go workout” in the outro just took me out for a good minute 😂😂
Flying saucer effect! Lol I had this same thought years ago with a Squale 60 Atmos I had at the time. Now my 44mm Luminor does that for me! Pre-owned Dievas just came in today. Another tactical EDC piece in the collection! Hope this stops soon!
Your childhood dream of being a radio announcer is maybe a missed opportunity as you could be that movie preview intro guy that says, “In a world…”. Hilarious as usual. Nice new Citizen, love my retrozilla, super accurate and always ready.
I got a couple 80s BMWs, I like the no assist, pure driving experience and I like working on these old mechanical engines, I have many mechanical watches, but my seiko solar diver is still my go to diver, nothing less special about it than a skx or citizen promaster to me. I don't however tend to like pure quartz with a battery, prefer having a capacitor that takes a charge.
Not a Citizen. But my SSK003J1 GMT Blueberry left and 62Mas SPB297J1 Save The Ocean "Glacier" came in. I was a little wary of the textured dial, but it's actually fine. I'm glad I went with it. I have a black and vintage dials in other watches, so didn't want the SPB143/147. I'm also blue dial fan, and I liked the shade of blue on this. The Midi-Chlorians of Watch Potency are strong with this collection youngling. Just wanted to share the Seiko joy. Great video 👍
Bah. In my opinion, having a Seiko with a 6R35 (had one in an Alpinist) is like owning a mid 2000s Subaru WRX that burns a quart of oil every 1000 miles and has a rough idle. I've also owned multiple Seiko 4R35/36 watches and almost all of them felt like a chore, similar to driving a stick shift in bad LA traffic. Citizen Ecodrive and Casio Tough Solar powered watches are like owning a Toyota Camry/4Runner/Land Cruiser. You don't need to care. Wear them, get some sun, and it's like doing regular maintenance on your Toyota.
I’m a working diver … Citizen through and through…. JP2000 when it first came out to Solarzilla today. All kidding apart …did the designers raid the parts bin for that ? ;)
Love my SJE, it is like a stunning 143 on steroids, designed by the GS creator of their three principles, it is my M3 for sure, but it would definitely be a bit small for McMahons kettle bell wrists.
You bought a new watch. I’m so proud of you, McMahon! Soon you’ll catch up to my 83 +-5 watch collection. 😊

I love my diver quartz. Ready to go anytime during the rotation.

All joking aside, that’s a banger! 👍🏻
This is a beautiful watch.
I look forward to bidding on the Citizen when you decide to sell!!
Citizen has some very nice watches, last one I got was the Citizen Fujitsubo.

I find there is a strong correlation between my low watch potency and my near empty wallet

Dig the new watch McMahon!
Wait what’s that green watch? How does the 200mt work with the pushes. Is this the only watch 200m and pushers??
Yes, it's 200mt with screw-down crown and pushers.
it should be more like: automatic cars = automatic watches. Manual cars = Manual-Wind Watches. ;) Like a Baltic Tricompax ;)

Citizen designs are so eccentric, as if that were fired from Seiko for taking too many risks.
Ik it’s not really your style but new KS on the 6th ❤
Watch potency 101.
toggle that pusher for the savings
McMahon what you need is a shtick shift
I’ve got myself a SLA065 and yep everything else is redundant
Approaching pasta bowl dimensions🤔
As seen on TV....
What about the SJE 62mas instead of the SLA?
I love that, but it's too small for my 8-inch wrist.

Citizen titanium is better than tudor’s
They stopped making real m3s years ago smh… 😢
