I had the emergency 1 and now have the emergency 2. I have almost used it once for a rescue on a mountain with no cell service. There was an 84 yo man in distress that we found. Just before we pulled the antenna, a ranger could be seen walking up to us in the distance.
The end did surprise me a bit. Only 5 bar water resistant? This watch originally was said to be made professionals and "for adventures" and stuff. It transmitts a morse code S O S on the worldwide civil aviation emergency frequency. This is usually reserved for aircraft emergencies and every air traffic control (ATC center and airport towers) and aircraft monitors that frequency for said emergencies. And such an emergency situation can include "falling into water". 5 bar water resistance covers washing the watch, but often not "impact on water" as the impact means waterpressure towards the o-rings is higher than 5 bar. 10 bar usually means you can jump into the water, but maybe should not waterskii and jump from a cliff. And 20 bar covers that. (G-shocks for example are rated for 20 bar, as are even some more aeronautically themed watches and it's the minimum for dive watches) -> That's why i find the 5 bar a little.... low for the supposed adventures of a potential wearer?
Just found your channel. Great review. I've seen this technology used on vehicles that are rented to adventure seekers in foreign countries, with the same caveats... being financially responsible for search and rescue efforts. I've never seen it used on a watch, but for certain adventure seeking customers, it would be the perfect.
I must say that the links do not add a lot of weight as they are also titanium however I will need to find a kitchen scale to weight how much! I will update here is I get one :)
Thank you! Also~ there is some info online about the watch having been used to save 20 people and have no false alarm uses :) Forbes has an article you can check out
It would be rather bulky for that. But perhaps you could wear it with a sports jacket to an outdoor summer cocktail hour or something of the sort which has a fun vibe to a dressy occasion
It fits my wrist but not my budget lol It's the definition of a serious tool watch tho so if you're ever putting yourself in a position you might need one it's well worth every penny.
Awesome true tool watch from the winged B. Super cool watch. Looks amazing on you. Can’t wait for the I wish all men's watches were sized like my dear nana's watches back in the 1930s.
Amelia, kindest person I ever knew, but had terrible taste in watches. Would only wear 34mm or smaller. I think it’s ok for sports watches to be larger, never understood grown men’s preoccupation with smaller watches. You rock that Breitling!
Personally, I would not wear this watch. I would wear it over the sleeve of my grandpa's old flight jacket when I ride my motorcycle but I wouldn't just wear it on my wrist. The Omega Ploprof is large but wears smaller lug to lug and most of it's size goes up the arm so I do wear that on my wrist
The antenna, from what I've seen, is basically a coiled up wire that you're supposed to straighten out. And it has to be 40-ish cm because the international beacon frequency is 406 MHz (121.5 MHz is the old one currently only monitored by aircraft) and the antenna in the Emergency is basically a dipole which has to be, ideally, 1/2 of the wavelength you want to transmit, and for these two frequencies this seems to be a middle ground between being tuned just to 406 or 121.5.
You're something of a kindred spirit since I also liker watches that are generally considered too big. You really need to add a text correcting the chronometer reference that should have been chronograph. I get that you simply misspoke. Lastly, if the Ploprof is your favorite watch then you're clearly a bit mad, so I have to subscribe. 😉
Thanks for subscribing! It really does mean a lot :) and there are a couple things I should have corrected with text in this video :) but I have learned from it and my over excitement and I hope you enjoy the next video where I start doing this more again if I get something messed up 😊
This looks too much like an Invicta. It’s hugely gaudy. I’d rather just get a Satellite phone for emergencies. Kudos to you for starting your own channel. I wish you all the success in the world. ❤️
To each their own :) and that is what is cool about watches, people's individual taste :) and the fee is $100,000+ ~ you know how it is getting excited and talking from the heart. You can jump the gun with words haha
You better wear a life jacket when you get in the water or that brick on your wrist will drag you to the bottom. In some countries you had to have a pilots license to buy this watch. I’m a pilot but my wrist can’t handle anything over 41mm so I’ll have to make do with the Emergency Locator Transmitter in the aircraft. Fashion statement?😂😂😂😂 I like your enthusiasm though. Keep it up. Have you tried the Breitling AVI 765 1953 Re-edition?
It’s a cool watch with unique technology, but it’s too large and bulky for my taste. Not to mention, the service costs in owning this watch are astronomical.
Or, you could just wear a not-ridiculously-giant watch and carry a legit satellite beacon (with like 150x the transmit power of the Emergency and batteries that last for years in standby) ...
I like Breitling quite a bit: Navitimer, Superocean, & B09 Chronograph in particular. However, this timepiece is hideous. I get that it’s purpose built as a transmitter, but the design is horrid.
Great channel love your content! I do a nightly livestream talking watches and would love to host you and collab. I've been doing watch youtube for over a decade and love connecting with new content creators. I stream nightly at 6:45 pm EST, love to chat! - ARCHIELUXURY
I absolutely love watches, the high end watch brands are out of my budget but the MAMACOO has literally an almost duplicate of every single watch on the market . Always a great but no matter your budget.

Woah! 😯 what a cool story!
Love the carrying case it's dope love the dial color but man that is a massive watch.

This watch is not for me: too big and too expensive, but I like your way of reviewing it. Many thanks!
It is a beast for sure! Not for me either but I like it for some other people :)
Thats a cool watch, but damn, it is an absolute unit. Would make Stallone's arm look small. How heavy is it, with all links?
I must say that the links do not add a lot of weight as they are also titanium however I will need to find a kitchen scale to weight how much! I will update here is I get one :)
It fits you perfectly.
I saw this in the Breitling shop here in the UK. Very interesting concept. Great video!
Thank you! And I'm glad you got to see it in person. I hope you got to feel it and try it on. It wears so light
@@watcheswithawoman Aha not a chance to try it on, it's way above my budget 😂
If you were to use it in a legitimate emergency, would you still have to pay the response crew?
No, only for mis-use :)
Wow, amazing. Did not know about the rechargeable aspect. Must be new.
Your dad must be a giant, if he can pull off this watch. Very nice, fun review
🤣🤣 he is definitely larger than me!
It fits you well.
Does it come with a matching tattoo?
Haha I wish
it's such a cool watch. Big but amazing functionality. I wonder how many lives it has saved. Oh, also, you're beautiful !
Thank you! Also~ there is some info online about the watch having been used to save 20 people and have no false alarm uses :) Forbes has an article you can check out
@@watcheswithawoman wow!
How much? 😮
Will this watch wear under a cuff? It looks big for a dress watch
It would be rather bulky for that. But perhaps you could wear it with a sports jacket to an outdoor summer cocktail hour or something of the sort which has a fun vibe to a dressy occasion
Interesting video - I've never even heard of one of these watches before, let alone seen one. Moreover, I enjoy your content - thanks for posting ! 😎
I so appreciate the kind words! 😊😊 more to come! Thanks for joining in!

100% agree!
Welcome back! Good work.
Thanks for the kind words!
Since getting a navitimer the emergency 🆘 has always caught my eye 👁️
Nice! Breitling has some fun pieces in general :) which color variation of the navitimer did you go with?
When a watch becomes a clock ,great review nonetheless
Thank you for the video. Shame we can’t see more!
Awesome true tool watch from the winged B. Super cool watch. Looks amazing on you. Can’t wait for the I wish all men's watches were sized like my dear nana's watches back in the 1930s.

U always looks charming and beautiful❤❤❤
Nice review 👍👍👍
Thank you! That means a lot
Nice review, thank you 🙂👍. I guess like the Ploprof you mentioned, this watch is not for everyone, including me. I can like and respect them, though.
It looks like a 50 to 52mm case size. Would u wear something that big

Unique, huge watch. Looks so good on you. 😊
I wouldn't wear it, but nice info. Well done. 🙂
Thanks!! I appreciate that :) I wouldn't really wear this either but it is cool
@@watcheswithawoman You're welcome. Yep!🙂
did you actually buy one
I borrowed this one!
I have big Seiko tunas in my collection but this is something else 😂
Haha indeed! I'm actually planning on doing a review of a Seiko Tuna soon!
What an insane watch and you're the perfect person to review it!
That is so nice of you to say! 🙏
Who is she ??
God!!! AMZWATCH Who would have thought those gorgeous watches go for that low!!!
🙌🙌🙌
Wasn’t Richard Branson who said this watch actually saved his life during one of this marketing stunts when his balloon went down?
I hadn't heard that but how interesting! I will google search stories about that. Thanks for sharing!
@@watcheswithawoman It was a documentary about him actually! Thank you for your videos and enthusiasm. All the best of success with your channel! :0)
Now I'm curious about what your dad does for a living.
Great review

5 atm WR is a little dissapointing for an Emergency Watch
Hi there, that antenna pulls out to 42cm? Seriously?

american watch brands usualy are garbage
True! I got this tiny box for my Avenger Chrono, now I know where all the material went.
Worse then an Invicta
5 figures means 10,000 !
Awesome watch

Thank you! So sweet of you, it really does mean a lot
You do mean it has a Chronograph to time things, not a chronometer to time things ,MADAM.
I would have bought one if the case was bigger…🤣😉👍🏾🇬🇧
😂👍👍
the girl is most valuable than the watch to me
Are you gonna wear the watch on both hands? 😅 it looks huge on you wrist! 😮
😂 too much of a monster for me to wear but that's why we have other choices haha
Really very nice watch , thank you >>>>>>> Pilot Sameer .
Thanks for watching! :)
Umm,can I have my Invicta watch box back?😂❤❤❤❤❤❤
An Apple Ultra Watch does the same thing and whole lot more for a hell of lot less.
It’s too big. I bought a bulova sea king with the same problem.
I'm thinking that sketchy dudes might wear such a watch.
Is she reading the instructions? 💭 😝
White dial
Could be cool. But it is already a crazy watch. May as well top it off with a wild color
Grail watch
A awesome watch review, by a beautiful woman. What more could I ask for. 😍😍
Too big, really your wrist must be close to 7.5 inches or bigger to pull it off, the watch I don´t like a lot but I liked your video.
Brietlings are the most dangerous watches
🤣
5 figures isn't minimum of100k. It 10k min, no?
haha yup
You’d have to pay for extra baggage whenever you fly.
😂
wow and zamzam water
The one watch you hope you never wear.
That you never need to use for it's ultimate purpose for sure!
Minimum 5 figure fee, "minimum $100,000 fee". 5 figures or 6 figures?
I think it's hilarious that you named your channel after an entire RUclips niche. This is indeed, watches with a woman.
"The Watch Woman" is a better channel name. You can have that one for free.
A phone would be a lot cheaper.
😂
that's a big a** watch
That it is! A tool for the wrist

🤣 glad we can all choose what we wear. And what we can pull off and with what style is just so different. Makes watches cool!
You are cute .😊
😊 thank you
I think you meant chronograph when describing the timing feature. Puts the rest of your presentation in doubt
Haha indeed I do know that though I definitely got quite excited and quick with my tongue 😊
Its a man's watch.thats why
Some watches wear well for everyone but this not as much in terms of size 😅
This is not a watch.
😂😅
Telling everyone that you have a Breitling emergency watch. Subtle, not. cool review, ta.
Shame about the HMP tramp stamps
