@josephgittos3787 I think it's at the cheap end that Montblanc's offering can sometimes be a bit bland which they need to step up. At the higher end they're using interesting in-house movements like in the Rieussecs and the Minerva watches speak for themselves. Montblanc's issue is more branding and people not being comfortable spending that much money on their watches, probably because they make pens and aftershave etc...

Great video but there seems to be a problem here. You evaluate most of the watches based on where they are in their segment and "lane" and what they are currently offering in a fair way. Great. That's until you really like a particular (mostly expensive and high end) watch and then they get bumped up to the upper two categories, even though they should meet the expectations (generally) at where they sit in the sector. One evaluation is from a connoisseur within the watch world, the other is what you like. More objective versus subjective. It is innovation, expectation, or what you like? One can buy a very traditional, non-vanguard brand and still love and buy them. Which is wouldn't be a problem, either of them, to do in a video! But fusing these perspectives into one single video comes across a bit strange. Come on, ICW and AP are absolutely stellar brands, but they are doing as expected. Boringly so. A welcomed boringly so, I might add. For example, Cartier and FC are doing way more explorative and out there stuff that are beyond what is typical for these brands. This is all encapsulated in your opinion of Hublot, in your own words.
In all a fun video (which I would love to see more of, for sure!) but a bit unbalanced in your appreciation.
    All the best!
