I decided to give grand seiko a try and I thought it was junk. I had better built regular seikos… so I totally understand why folks in Japan have Rolexes. Before anyone attacks me calling me a liar… I did my own video on my grand seiko, I really thought it was junk.
I like to see classic watches,it's a great hobby, I personally have some, nothing fancy, expensive, but I would never wear it again, not in any occasion 🤷♂️ Because I switched to garmin, now fenix 8...because I'm very active, training a lot, and tracking everything, daily water intake, calories, protein carbs, and every other activity, health😁🤷♂️There's no space for the classic watch.
Garmin warches are a great tool to help track your training progress! I personally found it annoying to have to charge frequently, but I did move to a Casio DW-H5600 which is kind of a hybrid g shock smartwatch from Casio. How do you find the Garmin Fenix?
I agree! Us in the team have Seiko's (and luxury models) but never feel any discomfort. They make great watches at reasonable prices. Do you have any Seiko's?
I was just in Ginza last month. I purchased an Omega Speedmaster sapphire and wore it there. I also picked up a Seamaster for my son. In San Francisco we cannot wear our watches for fear of being robbed. All of my Rolexes are sitting in a safety deposit box. So sad that crime here is rampant. Japan was much safer and I did see several nice watches even in the subway. I will go back next year to buy a Grand Seiko. I am also looking for a GMT Batman.
I would estimate we see 80-90% of people with no watch or a smart watch, but there's a lot of people wearing watches. Not all of them are willing to be interviewed but it's definitely a great place to go watch spotting!

It's definitely very safe. And Grand Seiko make a tiny amount of watches a year, probably under 50k, Rolex make >1m watches a year interestingly. We've only seen one Grand Seiko on a wrist but we've seen 30+ rolexs. And thank you for your comment, we have 2 more videos and more on the way if you're interested 😊
Keep up the great work man 👏
Thank you! We just posted our latest video in Nakano Broadway and we have many more videos on the way! 🫡
@@TheJapaneseFactory hell yeah 👍🏼
Great video 🔥 always wanted to see such "asking people in streets what watches people are wearing " videos and could you show your watch choice of the day that you're wearing in the video in your upcoming uploads..
Thanks for the idea! Our next video in nakano we are all wearing some vintage watches that will be up for sale in our store too, so stay tuned for that!
That guy with the black shirt was so polite and nice. I'm shocked at his age he owns such an expensive watch. Even if I had the money I would never pay that for a watch.
GMT master 2 is a great watch. Whats your favourite GMT master 2? I really love the pepsi and my boss just bought a rootbeer :)
New subscriber here, great content! I hope your channel grows!
We appreciate the comments! More to come! :)
Watching from 🇵🇭
Thank you!
Where is everyone watching from?
The yachtmaster is my favourite. perfect mix of classy and sporty. Would love to own one one day :)
You and me both!
What a fascinating video!
Thank you so much! 😊 🙏 We actually have 2 similar videos shit in Shibuya and Nakano which feature a different crowd/stories/vibe if you are interested in more!
Nice content keep it up!! New subscriber from the Philippines 😊
Thanks for subbing and hope you enjoy our upcoming content as well! And we love the PH 🇵🇭❤️
It must be lovely to live in a country where you can safely wear a watch in the street
It really is! Hoping that the situation improves around the world 🥺🙏
I love this series ! Well done !
Thank you! We have much more to come, next video is in nakano!
Really cool video - thanks!!
Loving the video 👍🏽Go 🇩🇰
wow using rolex as daily watch. Japan really something. and btw why no gshock ?
We did see some gshocks but they didn't want to be interviewed. You might like our Shibuya/Nakano video and upcoming Yokohama video as they feature gshocks :0
Thank you for the video
That reverso is 🔥
we agree! we were very lucky to see it in person. Was that your favourite watch from this episode? :)
Rolex Seamaster. 😂😂😂
They said what they said 🗣️🔥 Was that your favourite watch in this video? :)
got a collection of casios you may want to view. my holy grail is a toss up between ws-1300 and ws-1700h. will make a decision before black friday....
great interviews ! keep the coming !
Yeah we have a lot more coming soon 😁
I decided to give grand seiko a try and I thought it was junk. I had better built regular seikos… so I totally understand why folks in Japan have Rolexes. Before anyone attacks me calling me a liar… I did my own video on my grand seiko, I really thought it was junk.
I see, we'd love to discuss your opinion more in-depth in our discord, we always welcome new members!
"Today I'm wearing my Rolex Seamaster" 😂 Did you not notice that crap?
😂 yeah we did
The JLC looks fantastic!
Love that the dude with VC and PP has a Baume et Mercier. I have one that I quite enjoy!
Yeah great collection, what Baume et Mercier do you have out of interest? 👀
Yeah totally agree! He’s just a non-pretentious watch guy with tastes. Not only the usual Rolex and Patek, but JLC Baume Mercier and VC!
Judging by his accent. He’s one crazy rich pinoy
Why no one in Japan wears the Tissot PRX Quartz?
We have seen some PRX, especially automatic. I'm sure there will be a quartz PRX in the future, so feel free to keep watching.
Owning a Seiko should not be a discomfort to say. It's a real beauty and the social pressure of owning a high-end luxury model is real.
I agree! Us in the team have Seiko's (and luxury models) but never feel any discomfort. They make great watches at reasonable prices. Do you have any Seiko's?
That Reverso is crazy.
We definitely agree. So it's your favourite watch?
I visited Ginza Tokyo in 2016 , but did not visited Seiko Museum.
Good chance to come back to Japan! Thank you for your comment 😊
Enjoyed the Content and Questions.
Thank you, we have more to coming shortly, next video is in nakano. Any questions we should add? :)
Wow
It surprised me to see so many watches. Where I'm from you never see people wearing watches unless it's an Apple Watch. Great video!
I would estimate we see 80-90% of people with no watch or a smart watch, but there's a lot of people wearing watches. Not all of them are willing to be interviewed but it's definitely a great place to go watch spotting!
quick question: did you do a few videos with 4am laundry youtube on retro game searching? lol somehow chanced upon here, and u looked familiar (as the yuta guy in a few of the vids) lol... GL with your channel
Yeah! That is me! This is a side project of mine with my good friends 😊 Thanks for watching and subscribing ( 👀 )
Ah i thought u were familiar lmao.
I m into watches more than retro games, but i like to watch 4am for search for retro game stuff lul.
Gl all the best to your channel.
Maybe we will bump into each other someday in tokyo luls (during my holidays)
Was it just me that noticed that one of the Daytona’s pushers was dangerously unscrewed?? 👀 2:30

Thank you! It would be a dream to hit 1m subs. And yes, We love seeing and talking about them so it's our pleasure too!
Классный формат ❤
Thank you so much! And we agree, if you like the format of this vid we have a few more similar videos 😀
Yellow shirt has an insane flex collection of watches and only “owns a restaurant” 😉
Must be a very good restaurant 😁 thank you for the comment!
