dont compare the old swift with any of marutis line, it is the best car they have ever produced and it is loved outside europe for its dynamic superiority , its better than some so called sporty cars
Tata has respected the Indian consumers..we deserved this rather than dressed up etios and polo cross..

btw the Tata Tiago JTP is the only enthusiasts car available in india. The only performance hot hatch which doesn't feel unstable at super high speeds. Tiago and Tigor are safest cars in the segment so no need to worry when turbo of both kicks in. And the looks of both are so much aggressive that they deserve to be called JTP. Tiago looks sooooo gooood I love that car 😍😘

Maruti are tin cars, do a comparison with Swift and JTP cars, you will see the difference in exhaust, power and handling, on paper the JTP for sure looks much more powerful than Swift.
this is jtp not normal tiago and swift has not got a sporty verson.

Tiago or Tigor are better than the competition. Tiago is better than Maruti Celerio, Hyundai Santro and the Datsun Go. Also Tigor betters Amaze, Dzire or Xcent. These cars are better lookers, efficient, strong and yes 100 % India. Also Tata cars have been awarded safer cars in #SAFERCARSFORINDIA and are in the first 3 safe cars by GLOBAL NACP crash test .

if anyone has to say it is not powerful enough or hot hatch, it is only running in 3 cylinders, and then also it is making a 3 digit power figure and the turbo also whistles like cricket match in a stadium (at 7:08min)

Only in your dreams...Swift dont have sportier version...after 13years competitors are coming with fun to drive cars...maruti launched fun to drive car back in 2005 type1 swift still its the benchmark for handling and dynamics

Tie up with performance upgrade CO's is perhaps the best thing among the good things TATA has ever done.. job well done as tigor also deserved this.. maybe the touch screen was bigger by an inch or so...this treatment of offering a performance variant is moment to remember & could be a trend setter in an economy .. when few years down the line we have to rely on electric motors .

My ultimate choice remains Fiat Punto Abarth.. What a beast it is and at 10 lakh, it is arguably the best hot hatchback in the town. The 145 hp is just a solid giveaway with 212 Nm torque.

Yup, Abarth is next level but ownership experience a bit hit or miss. And also 50 percent more expensive than the JTP

Both cars should have the apple car play and android auto 7 inch touch screen infotainment, Tata are you listening? Rest everything seems to be bang on.
There are billions of aftermarket touchscreen stereos starts around Rs 10,000 according to ur needs.

tigor JTP vs Tigor xzO oct2018 facelift?
worth paying the price for JTP in which 1 can get top variants of amaze, dzire, aspire, baleno , i20s etc or just buy tigor xzO , which would be a top variant of a subcompact car section and plus save 1 to 1.5 lakh over its competition?
wat r the diifences between specificaly tigor xz plus variant and JTP apart from engine ofcourse. just wanted to know wat would ive to compromise on JTP for more power and paying more money over the XZ plus variant.
Let's wait to see a show down with the sportier Polo and Baleno

I noticed that the Tiago JTP had a rear fog lamp but couldn't see the button for it on the dash - there is a button for the front fog lamp though. Can you confirm if the rear fog lamp is operational? Interestingly, the current top model of Tiago - XZ+, doesn't come with a rear fog-lamp and neither is it available as an accessory, although there's a provision for it on the bumper. This rear fog lamp though looks exactly like the one found in Bolt, Zest and the Nexon.
Nope the rear fog lamp doesn't even have a bulb

I am not going to jump into Swift V/S Tiago war but you got to admit that Swift is a very peppy drive, it's performance is just about spot on. It is one of the most predictable handlers, beating it in it's game is a Herculean task. Soup it up with good rubber, some decals & performance parts voila you have a very lively car in hand.
How is the suspension on bad roads?

1. Please explain difference in 3cylinder & 4 cylinder petrol engine in terms of cost, performance, mileage advance technology and other factors.
2. Also apply & explain same in case of 3 cyl engine of tiago, freestyle and 4cyl engine of swift, santro.
3. Which is better & preferable?
It's of no consequence now , with current level of refinement.
4 cylinder any day.
All cars in near future is likely to be 3 cylinder, as it costs less in making and maintenance. Mileage is also better in case of 3 cylinder engines. Swift weighs less than Tiago and gives a km more in city condition. Take Tiago to highway it gives a brilliant mileage. I have achieved more than 22 km. My friends have achieved more mileage than me. It definitely beats the Maruti cars. Similar observation by another person who drives Wagon R at city and Tiago in highways to get the best of mileage. He has already done 50000 km for Tiago. I am a Tiago owner and I can say the same is true. In terms of performance other factor is gear ratio. This is overlooked by many. Tigor has balancer shaft hence less NVH as compared to Tiago. Also to let you know, my Tiago is more than 2 years old and its far refined than 2016. This has been done with ECU updates which Tiago receives frequently. 2018 Tiagos are much refined than the old ones. There are some internal changes done too.

Usually 3 cylinder engines have more vibration..at least that's what I have heard. What about this engine? And what about the favourite Indian question..kitna deti hai?

Have anyone went for a long trip on the Tiago JTP? How does it feel? I have found a great deal on Tiago JTP but someone who owned a regular Tiago before told me not to buy it because it is a nightmare for a long trip and also the mileage is very bad. So if anyone has experience with Tiago JTP please help me.
I hope Tata vehicles are strong as I have never been on one.
