- We get behind the wheel of the highly awaited Tata Tiago JTP, the first performance oriented product from the Tata Motors' stable. The new Tiago JTP features a 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine that makes 112 bhp of peak power and 150 Nm of peak torque mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Tiago JTP also features updated sportier styling including new bumpers, a side skirt, larger wheels, and some active body vents.

I dont understand the craze of touchscreen ac control, touchscreen audio control, android auto, apple car play.
Its very very difficult to change the audio and ac setting on the on in new honda city because of touchscreen. Nobs are always better for me.
If u connect ur phone to andriod auto or apple carplay, anyone and everyone inside the car can access your mobile. Its like unlocking the phone and giving to our friends. We very well know our friends what all they can do. Connect a bluetooth and play the songs. Get 8 spreakers or sixteen speakers i understand. When we have aux and bluetooth ,what is the need of apple carplay/ android play. Its better to use the phone in hand .
Touchscreen and apple carplay never a con. Its a car not a new ipad.

Well the normal tiago for me handles really well ,i just can't imagine how well this does.. n yeah there might be turbo lag below 2000rpm bt who gives a shit bout that.. fantastic car!! Hope it sells just as well 👍👍👍

Tin ka dabba is no match for the Tiago JTP. Only Maruti petrol which can compete with the jtp is the 1.0l boosterjet

Suzuki good service is just a myth hype created by Suzuki and tin can fans , i have already experienced fraud work by Maruti service 5 years back like for e.g. they changed the engine oil and filter in the first service and had to pay Rs 3000, my friend had to pay Rs 14000 for replacing front arms of his Maruti stingray including labour, wth! 14000? they seem to be hunger for service knocking doors and taking your car but in fact, they want to dry out your pockets unnecessarily and their service is also costly compared to tata, that's why people rated tata good to 2nd rank, tata may not often advertise their service like Maruti does but they don't charge money unnecessarily

I love everything on this car except for the Maruti 800 door lock stick.

Tata JTP is nice sporty car, good pricing, again excellent product from tata
Tata 1.2 litre turbo produces 112bhp, 150 Nm
FORD 1 litre turbo ecoboost produces 123bhp, 170 Nm.(11 International awards).
Tata is 5-7 years behind than FORD.
Tata Motors.... Pride of India...

Great move from Tata.. But there is a catch..for real enthusiasts the power and acceleration figures aren't upto that mark to make them excited and for regular buyers it might be too fancy a car! But non the less Tata is moving into right directions, hoping for a real hot hatch with more horse power and faster acceleration in future. Well done Tata motors. Keep experimenting and improving.

Well I always liked normal tiago but this version of tiago is just an icing on the cake... They certainly upgraded not only looks but performance as well 😂😂.. Only tata should improve it's after sales service and in no matter tiago will outsell baleno, swift from Maruti Suzuki ..

Hi All, I have purchased tata tiago car 6 month mine is zx petrol top model after seeing all the reviews and videos I brought my car. But performance wise its not good too much engine noise like a diesel indiaca car after completed second service also same issue really tata needs to improve the service.

Drove this car yesterday... The feel was like the engine and the gearbox were loosely fitted and not that regular car gear shift and fit feel that u normally great from other European Korean or Japanese cars.. Tatas still got a long way to go.. The car stands tall and needs a lot more to be lowered that low stance will boost this cars sales like crazy.. Performance is fair for the size of car and engine
