I own 2018 tigor, have made few changes and added few accesories. Tigor now feels and sound completely different.
Actually tigor has very good leg space then DZire.
I have increased underthigg support on all seats rear and front by 2 inches, then did sound dampning by 3in 1 7mm sheets on door, bonnet, and rear luggage lid, added some extra sound deadner to car floor in front seats end, and then 5d car floor mats from autofurnish.
Noise level before sound deadening was 65 to 80 and now it is 58 to 75. We can now talk easily in car while driving traffic and road noise has gone down considerably but still you can hear important horns from other car.
Underthigh support has added to comfort and now it is more comfortable especially long rides, car mats give it premium look. Speakers sound awesome now .
I think company should consider these as option to customers. It just takes car to new level in comfort and luxury department. Total expenditure was 22000, car mats , Napa seat cover with increase in underthigh support and sounddampning sheets.
How did you add more underthigh support? Is there a cushion kinda thing that straps on to the bottom of the seat?

I had 2 tata cars,i never buy and suggest tata cars to any one.such a torrible experience,dont go for tata
*Can't blame people completely for it* . I am from UP and the nearest JTP showroom is around 300km away from my town. There are just 19 cities in India where JTP twins dealerships have been set-up mind you, it's less than the total states in India. So low sales numbers are obvious. Considering Tata's service record, nobody would risk getting them serviced at non-JTP dealerships either.

baleno rs is just a performance oriented car but tigor jtp is a full package with best build,performance,stablity etc
Unfortunately the Swift sport is not in sale in India. Baleno RS just have an international spec engine offered on the standard Baleno and swift, that too detuned to offer 10 bhp and 25nm less due to low quality fuel available in India. The performance is good but it was never meant to be a performance car in the first place.

Trust me nothing comes close either in its segment or below it. Also build quality is almost European style, not the tinny build usually seen in Marutis

Im in the market for a good diesel and if I get a top end alpha 1.6 in mint condition, then I won't be even looking at competition, as this is one of the rare occasions were heart ( POWWEERRR ) and brain ( good mileage since it's diesel + Maruti, so even if engine is new and not common, after sales service will be satisfactory, resale value won't be a concern since the only time I would sell it is if I'm downright broke )
Planning on a Wolf moto remap once whatever warranty I receive with the car is over, people have squeezed upto 185 HP /404 NM throughout wolf remap, that smokes even the strong Tucson diesel
Ford Aspire 1.5l 123ps automatic vs Tata Tigor JTP 1.2l 114ps manual
I have the same dilemma. But there are few points to consider, aspire automatic doesn't come in top variant so tires are not the wider 15 inchers. But then automatic is a big boon in cities . JTP is best enjoyed on hills and ghats due to the superior handling but for cities and highways aspire is still more practical. JTP is a weekend car but aspire will give you best of both worlds .
@@sbsid1994 aspire automatic is a very heavy vehicle, wouldn't perform even close to the tigor jtp. If you only want the car for the performance go for jtp but if you also want a bit more luxury buy the top variant manual aspire, it has enough grunt plus has better fit and finish with better features overall.
@@AakarshanB no they weigh almost the same. The torque converter adds 50 kgs to about 1050 kgs.. nothing more . JTP has the same weight. I don't know why you giving me suggestions . I never asked for it. Have you even driven the JTP?
Aspire 1.5 D manual is hoot to drive and absolute beast in small size.

Bharath kumar I can assure you mileage is not as good as the other regular cars it's pretty low on city it will return you an average of 10 to 12 kmpl and on highways I got the best of 15 kmpl
Gurusiva cpu I would rather prefer you to go for Nexon rather than tiago jtp.. If you really like to go for some thrill and fun to drive choose tiago jtp else I feel Nexon is any day better buy than tiago jtp

I'd go with the Baleno, and this is coming from a Tata fan.
We all know how light the regular Baleno is and the only change in the RS is the imported engine. The body is still the same weak lightweight one and that gives it an obvious advantage in terms of acceleration.
However if a tractor or an obstacle comes into your path midway during the drag race, then we'll really see the difference between the two cars.
*Hint: one will send it's driver to yamraj, the other will send him to a hospital*
Tiago JTP will win definitely. Baleno RS can keep up only in a track race because of better dynamics. Alpha arc platform based Tiago JTP will be a beast when it arrives. The current Tiago JTP needs a better chassis
