Recently replaced Quadrajet Diesel Bs4 2011 Rgd Manza with Tata Nexon Diesel in July 2021. Gotta say for sure, Manza was way ahead of time but was very subjective in terms of looks. No wonder my dad complains about space in nexon after driving manza for a decade
Same here. We use a BOLT which had almost similar interior space to Vista/Manza. We were invited to the nearest showroom for Altroz launch programme. My dad was with me during the test drive in the backseat of Altroz and he was greatly disappointed there. He said everyone around later that he didn't like Altroz 😜🙏
@Nikhil sharma same here.. can't find a replacement for our Manza... I have test drived many cars. Couldn't find a replacement, that provides enough leg room , tunk space for luggage and good performance along with mileage.. everyone who took the delivery of bs6 petrol or diesel cars are complaining about the vehicle's under performance...
this video bhought back memories my dad owned a tata manza it was with us for 8 years and did 1 and a half lakh kilometers . we lost the car in a crash (if it wasnt for the build quality we would have suffered injuries luckily none of us got hurt) gosh it brings back lots of memories. and the infotainment was the best my opinion
Proud owner of vista(2009) ❤️ The infotainment system was very modern at that time which had a bigger display screen and mostly at that time(2009) there were few cars which offered a music system. One of Best suspension setup, great steering with good feel and feedback and with good weight. Was feature rich at that time and was value for money. Offered huge space at the rear.
A really spacious car. We had the petrol variant and used it for 5 yrs. Only if they had updated the car in today's time. It would have been truly amazing giving cars a run for their money.
I bought safire petrol model of Manza in 2011. Still own and drive it. Mint condition. Engine is very powerful and it is easy to keep up with bigger and powerful cars.
Driving an Indigo Manza petrol since 2011 clocked 1,28,400 on the odometer still runs like a charm, interior feels super premium Very few rattling noise here and there due to its age. Still in mint condition running like a king. Though the fuel efficient is not that great
After seeing this video I miss indigo XL. that one was next level on space. The top model even had rear infotainment screen and tray as standard on all trims. We had the base model though
@@sudharshanve8519 that as very very underated car back then it costed 6-6.5L that time which accounted today would be 15-16L. no car even in 20L segment give the features/comfort tata gave with indigo XL. missing my indigo XL
Indica Indigo had much more sales than zest bolt.. if tata would relaunch these cars with this much length and space and new interiors sales would again be on fire.. I love manza and its legroom behind it's so great
Its a luxurious car for the middle class. So spacious and comfortable with biggg...boot. the infotainment was way ahead of its time which even the latest cars are missing. We still have a 12yrs manza petrol engine still going strong.
@@jathinkanekal Think out of the box. With the current Emission norms and customer desirability for more fuel efficiency with cost effectiveness it is hard to tick all those boxes. That is why manufacturers have chosen the 3 cylinders over 4 . Don't get me wrong even 3 is also better because it produces better torque than some 4 cylinder engines in the market.
At that time too this car is so feature loaded and driving on high speeds..its feel so stable and in so control..so spacious no car like swift desire and amaze etios can beat in comfort and space.. wish they will bring new manza model..it would really had good sales .. if they bring manza it would be mind blowing
We have had this car since 2010. Car saved my family from a crash and car toppled. All of them got out without a scratch. We enjoy the suspension and space. You can get spoilt for space in this car. The car is underpowered for its size and weight. Tata has come a long way since then. Hoping to upgrade to a Nexon soon
Dear Friends, I m an engineer and proud owner of this beautiful and reliable Car. I hv this Manza Diesel for last 13 years 1,15,000 kms at 18 to 19 KM/lit of milage I just changed 3rd times All 4 tyres and got the complete maintenance done after 100,000 kms, including Timer Chain and decarbonation of engine. I m 63 , and driving solely for last 13 years mostly from Pune to Sindhudurg/Goa. and to Mumbai. I don't say this is an ultimate car. But please ask those who are 60+, what is their experience about cars in 70s and 80s... It was Fiat and Ambassador ( I know what is important on road today when compared with these old brands) This is far superior... I just want to convey that today roads are better than they were 30 -40 years back . I m sure this car will give me support until it turns 200,000 on Milage indicator. If maintenance is perfect. This Sapphire petrol engine was developed by AVL Corp., Austria. Later a turbo was added to this and used in Zest and Bolt petrols, I think. I own a BOLT petrol which came with a 1.2L 4cyl Turbo Petrol as default in 2015 😱 Nobody were trusting Tata cars that time, but I did and now BOLT is severely enquired in used market. The door pockets of BOLT are similar to Manza and even the cupboard-sized glovebox and underseat storage in co-driver seat. However, it's torque is different from Manza. Manza: 1.4L 4cyl 90PS 160Nm Bolt: 1.2L Turbo 4cyl 90PS 140Nm Still love my BOLT than any hatchbacks Tata Motors have even today.

When they provided 4 cyl no one bought them for their designs and now people are worried about 3 cylinders. Pathetic.
