This car, probably 10 years ago, had a crazy hype, felt quite luxurious at that time. But say whatever you want, the c-segment fight between Accent, Ford Fiesta, City was crazy asf. But here Ford Fiesta is easily the king . The design, engine reliability and probably everything about it is still pretty relevant 🤝

Faisal y u said that diesel was not reliable at that time... My dad owns the hyundai accent crdi 2003 still runs smoothly without any issues... Clocked around 2Lakh kms...& I have done 190km/hr in my accent diesel.... Still runs smoothly ❤
I had one with golden colour. My first car. It's a Tud5 peugeot engine. It's main USP is Comfort, great Mileage, luggage space, chiller ac.. it has all the features we need.❤️❤️. I love my first car.

I still drive 2004 1.6 DOHC. Very difficult to maintain and getting spare parts but any gear any speed any time and any road, she will put a smile on your face the moment you think on accelerating.
How do u get spares then i am planning to get a diesel variant as petrol is way costlier.. and also i wud go for petrol variant only . As he said diesel wasn't reliable... ok now tell me how hard is to get spares ??? Can we get in bengaluru??

My father bought Hyundai accent GTX tornado at 3.75 lakhs in delhi in 2003 when I was born and sell out in 2006 because of low avg we get only 9 to 10 kmpl otherwise car was very nice then we bought WagonR but my family didn't like it and my father sale out and buys another accent GLS 1.5 sohc 12 value it was my first car in my life and first memory I have passion of automobile through this car my first 💕❤️🥺

Hyundai Accent still gets renewed every year in USA and other countries but not in India. In India, you can get the Hyundai Aura which is based on the Xcent which is based on the Hyundai Accent

I still drive Accent and I have the same 1.5 SOHC. It does good wheelspin, don't know why yours didn't do. Also, the steering is hard on mine too, it's because of the worn-out hydraulic steering pump in these old cars. Accent had hydraulic steering, not EPS. The Hood is heavy indeed, you can do benchpress using it.

19yrs on ,Still i own my Dad's car . Finding genuine spares is bit tough but can get with some waiting .
Stil use for long drives and can easily do 120 .Pickup yes bit slow than modern day car but handling at top speed is top notch. Even mid sized SUV can keep with my car at top speeds mainly due to low floor .Interestingly i get 13-16km/L Mileage 😊
