Couple of things I noticed
1. Side profile is extremely similar to 1995 E Class
2. Dash design is also somewhat similar to Last Gen Superb
3. The car is supremely maintained nd in absolute mint condition
So much features, like rear ac and music controls, roof mounted vents, sofa like seats.. still misses in today's luxury sedans..
I still remember that in Raaz movie (2002), I saw this car for the first time. So nostalgic. And then we bought it in 2016 but it was difficult to maintain so we sold it in 2018. Its comfort is flawless!
Toyota offered more features in 1996 than in 2022 😂😂😂....just toyota things

Reason for switch near coin holder was to reset rear seats to original position in case those were reclined and reason for the separate lever for the tilt adjustment of steering is for easy ingress for the driver so that his knees doesn’t hit steering when going in and out of the car

It’s actually true...you hardly see any new design mostly companies are shifting to horizontal lights no better innovation just for “work done” because it’s not there fault....the thing is they can’t take too much risk like in today’s market.
There are many car designers which gonna say this word what I just said.
There was a time when every car have different shape and looks which you can see from far and say that’s skoda or Honda but look today... but all are just copying and doing the “work done thing”

Dear Faisal every car in the world is not about 0-100 and all cars shouldn't be tested for 0-100 all the time and trying for a wheel spin.2JZ is reliable that's why there are supras with 1000 hp figures always running and then there are lazy sedans like the crown, which is in a different planet.
