    I did my radiator replace from your video. Great step by step!!! Only thing, my radiator had to screws at the bottom. I had to jack mine up and drop the cover. It was so easy to get to the bottom hoses and screws on mine. I had to cap of the fluid line to transmission. I was quoted 1400.00 from the shop and told the front end had to come off. I save myself 1086.88 with the part and coolant. Front end didn't have to come off!!!

    You hv NOT evacuated air bubbles at the end, which is very important step.

    Nice video you updated! Thank you. A quick question.
    How much gallons did a new radiator take?
    I just replaced a new radiator, but it only took one gallon & it’s full now. The old drain coolant was about 1.5 gallon. Any advise?

    No need to remove the bottom bolts holding the AC condenser?
    In the video you only removed the top bolts👍

    why is this video not in your LS460 playlist? thank you for the video. I am looking for a video to change out the PCV valve and front bumper removal. I want to remove front bumper to change out the daylight driving light.

    • @friendnfamily9053
      @friendnfamily9053  3 года назад +1

      Hi, thanks for asking. the car wasn't doing anything different, yet. I noticed the old radiator has a broken water connector, which can be seen from minute 3:28 compared to the new radiator (from minute 3:58).

      At the front right of the engine behind the coolant reservoir, the large lower coolant pipe from the bottom of the radiator leads right to it.

  • @misajardar2409
    @misajardar2409 7 месяцев назад +1

    But you didn't show how you removed the two lower screws connecting both radiators. Without unscrewing these screws, you will not be able to remove the radiator separately. I think you have to remove the bumper to get to these screws. Correct?

      All though you tried to make a video for a radiator replacement, you lacked showing the two hidden bolts that hold the radiator and condenser together, you missed the bolt at the bottom by the plastic plate that holds the hood latch, you missed the fact that the fan has to come out first or you have to remover upper radiator hose to take it out together(fan & Radiator). Instead of music you should talk and explain will help a diyer. I took this job on based on the fact of this video. You missed crucial steps.
