      Lexus dealer charges $600 per side I was just quoted for my 2007 Lexus LS460

    2:00 No need to pop out orange clips. Just slide them off a bit.
    If u just want to change the gaskets for fuel pump, u don't need to remove the valve cover.

    I believe one of my fuel pumps is bad. Do they knock when placed in drive or reverse ? Thank you .

    Pls Help I did this job n now it says low pressure on the rails n the car dies when I try to put it on drive ?

      Could it be the high pressure fuel pump faulty or need to Bleeding the lines

      Exact thing happened to me and I flip flopped my lines and boom it was fixed

      @@friendnfamily9053 Not bad looks like you went ahead and replaced some other things as well while you had everything apart. What was actually wrong?

      @@rodboijones7390 Hi, there was leaking from the valve cover gasket. While replacing the valve cover gasket, it makes sense to also replacing the fuel pump gasket.

    Will RTV around the gasket stop the leak just curious

    I see the fuel pump these days cost over $1000.00. What does this gasket replacement cost?

      Just got back from the Lexus dealer today and for this service they wanted $1528.00. That's $764.00 each side. Which I declined. I will do it myself. And that did not include valve cover gaskets and seals.

    Do you need to release the pressure of fuel lines?

      Someones reported check engine light P0087 fuel Rail system pressure too Low after replacing fuel Pump Gasket. Did you have engine/transmission mounts problem on this car?
