- Super fluffy and soft golden goodness.
INGREDIENTS
Bread flour: 400g
Sugar: 45g
Instant yeast: 7g
Butter (salted): 50g
Milk (warm): 200ml
Eggs: 1
Nutmeg: 1/2 teaspoon
Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon
In a large mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients except for the butter to form a dough ball.
Add the butter, tuck it into the dough, and knead for about 8-10 minutes until the dough is elastic and bounces back.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
After rising, roll the dough into the desired shape and place it on a bread pan. Allow it to rest for an additional 40 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 150°C.
Rub one whisked egg over the bread.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the bread is golden brown.
