Man that RT Challenger Shaker with the Borla ATAK makes the 5.7L Hemi V8 sounds nasty. There's a video of a Challenger RT Shaker that also has a Borla ATAK Catback exhaust as well but it's also got Longtube headers with high flow cats as well and it sounds amazing. Gerardo Vasquez III if you have a car with exhaust valves and you bought the full exhaust that doesn’t have them then you have two options. There is a company that makes a kit that you can hang them up and not have a check engine light. Or you can just unplug them and tape up the connectors if you don’t mind the light.

I’m stuck on the part that you literally didn’t show! Where the X-pipes go to the cats, that you guys had a small amount of time on the video with trouble. I wanted to see exactly how you resolved it, but you didn’t show it. You could’ve at least explained it. I’m stuck on it FFS
Jose Molina solves that with a rubber Mallet and some wiggling. To remove the old and get the new on. It was a tight fit. Guy in the bag wiggled the system back-and-forth while a guy with a rubber hammer hit the hanger bracket.
@@KnightsGarage still, you should've shown the concept by video. I did it in my own way, but not the way you just explained. I understood what I needed to do after trial and error, but it could've been easily been explained as, " you need to pull the exhaust from the end with your tips and the pipes fall from the X pipes and will come out that way"

I have same year and model have been looking at exhaust for it kind of like the atak was this the one with the valve simulators or the replacement valves?
This car didn’t have active exhaust. There are no valves in this one.
What socket size for the clamp nuts, and would you recommend a retightening of these nuts after so many miles?
I really can’t remember what size they were because this was so long ago but yes I do recommend making sure they are still tighten down after a few hundred miles and several heat cycles.

So this is on the 5.7 Hemi? I have the RT 6.4 Hemi and have been trying to decide which route to take with my exhaust. This one sounds great, but I'm sure the sound would be different in the 6.4.
Shawn Christiansen Yes this was on a friends 5.7. From what I understand the 6.4 sounds really similar with this kit. Probably just a little louder and deeper.

I did a full straight pipes and i regretted it, just very very loud. I'm now considering the Atak but is there ANY drone at any speed or when MDS kicks in?

Gilles Poulin The sound is much different on the boiler system then just deleting a muffler or adding some race bullets. The boiler system also seemed like it was a little more quiet in the car at cruising speed than the factory system but louder outside the car

Hey man. I've been looking at that specific exhaust and I got a question for you. Does it sound too loud in the interior? Can you have a normal conversation by phone inside the car while cruising? I've been holding back just because I don't want the inside to be noisy. Especially on long trips. Thanks in advance
