What will you explore first in The Machine Age?
For me it's got to be the Crisis path, trying to get all of the cool exclusive technologies! Seems like an amazing update on a lot of fronts though, lots to explore
Nothing, I’m on console, going to be years before I get to play Machine Age, don’t even have First Contact yet.
Its going to be a crisis run and it will be for the SCIENCE!!!
Individual Machines. I've been dying to make something like Cybertronians in Stellaris for ages! To have them being spiritual is only an icing on a cake!

Now that machines feel fully fleshed out, I am begging you guys. Please do something with bio-tech, I wanna be able to eventually produce bio-ships and other bio-mechanical things to be options. I know hive minds can make hive worlds, but that's only a small step, and it would be really cool if induvidualist bio-empires could achieve something similar.
Think about the possibilities: An origin that had a species witnessed a war between ancient machine empires and now viewed all mechanical technology with disgust, so they made bio-mechanical advances instead. They could start out with primative bio ships that get stronger the longer they survive.
Or the biological ascension could have special research options to unlock living buildings or outright engineering bioships and stations.
Synaptic connections between stations, worlds, and ships could lead to interesting gameplay systems where the behavior of each is different, but still desirable, depending on what kind of synaptic connection they have to other bio-tech in the system or around them.
All this and the ability to become like the Qu, and shape other species to your will
I just want the two flavors of bio tech: The Zerg from Starcraft and Moya from Farscape...
Your first suggestion is literally just the Yuuzhan Vong from Star Wars.

Bio ascenion really does need some love. Right now, it just feels like the "safest" ascension route, but also the most lacking in content; doubly so after synthetic and cybernetic now. Which is really a shame, because I love bio ascension as an idea. Machine bodies? Mechanical implants? Dark gods? Bah! What greater strength is there than our own drive to improve beyond mere mortal limits?!

Where can I get these songs for download?
I think the track that plays for most of the trailer is Titanomachia II - it along with 6 other tracks are in the new DLC, and will probably be on streaming sites at some point I assume since the OSTs for the other DLCs ended up on streaming sites.

Same here. It's the original soundtrack, just changed to fit the trailer music. They've done it for every release trailer and it kills me that they haven't released full versions of these remastered ost.
This might be one of the coolest DLC so far. Machine Empires, Hive minds, Dyson Spheres, Space Leviathans, Space Magic... These are all pretty tangible concepts, but Digitizing your whole Species? A crisis that eradicates consciousness? A machine with enough processing power to alter reality? I think no DLC so far had more interesting Sci Fi comcepts
I know I say this every time, but every release trailer you guys put out goes immaculately hard.

Paradox, you have outdone yourselves, new ships, city appearances and rooms (cybernetic and machine) new origins, new traits, new traditions, a new crisis path AND a new crisis. And that’s not even going into all the new portraits and dynamic changes to portraits throughout the game, and we STILL have two other upcoming packs for Season 8.
To all reading this, if you haven’t purchased Season 8 already, I highly recommend you do so, for what has been released already, it is WELL worth the price. Looking forward to the next two packs of Season 8 Paradox, don’t let us down 😁😉

All the new features are amazing, but damn, the SOUNDTRACK IS THE BEST!
In my opinion the coolest dlc so far! Reallly excited to try out all the new things added! Also those the Team have any plans on adding the cybernetics portraits to the other species portraits like the aquatics, plantoids or humanoids?

Would it be possible to have the 'wallpapers' folder in the game files expanded? It (the one wallpaper design avaialble) is looking lackluster compared to the amazing artwork coming out of these DLCs, including even the main menus.
Though the flesh is weak, deeds endure beyond metal.
If you can provide a routing number I will unload my life savings into it immediately! But on a serious note, awesome trailer, and awesome game! Started Dec 2017 and it's been my favorite strategy space game hands down. I'm about to reach 1700 hours into this game with my favorite build as a rogue servitor. I'm excited to see how that will play out in this mod.
