I started playing in the 70s with my Grandpa. I would stay the Summer with he and Grandma. They would drop me off at 730, go to work and then pick me up at 530 everyday for about 2 months. I did get to a +1 handicap and had dreams of getting on the tour. Then I had an accident where I cracked my back. Im fine but lost my game. I am about a 6 today ay age 65. Still have some moments of the old days but the back and now knees get tired 😂

Restarted after about a 11 year hiatus and found the channel to get more serious with my game and stick with it to teach my kid 😎. I’m planning to try my hybrid off the tee this weekend since I still need to work on my driver swing lol so this tip and the one for fairway and rough are great!

I am 63 years and started playing against this past year 2 times per week. I actually bought a set of hybrids due to your videos. I was really struggling with my regular irons. I really needed this video today. I have been topping my hybrids big time recently. I play with my brother and he is always telling me that I am too high on the ball and actually falling back a little on my follow through. I expect that using this technique stay lower and behind the ball longer will help my striking sweet spot. I am playing today at 11:30 and will be using this tee technique all day. I will let you know how it work for me...The techniques you off with the use of hybrids have really helped my overall game. I love playing golf and now can consistently score around 90...sometimes even a mid 80...Many thanks for all your help!

Fell out of playing due to sadness and growing out of clubs. Great vid! I started playing golf at the age of 15. Hybrid clubs were not around then. My dad kinda forced me into it and when you’re at that age you do not have the patience for golf and the early morning starts getting to that first tee. I had a coach and was playing 2-4 times a week. My tee offs with the driver was really my strength and I was able to hit it really really long (280 to 320 yards) especially when I turned 17 or 18 but sucked at the short game (60 yards to the pin and putting) which frustrated me a lot.
Stopped playing golf all together at 19. Now at 33, I’ve just rediscovered golf and am absolutely loving it! Although a lot less skilled than I was when I was younger, I finally have the patience required on the course and am enjoying it a lot more for sure.
Now I’m working on mastering my short game to further enhance the enjoyment of this beautiful game!

Hey Alex, I subscribed a couple of videos ago.
I started playing golf after leaving the military in 2003 at the age of 35. I found Golf is a lot like marriage. It can be very frustrating and at the same time the love of your life…
I shoot in the mid to low 80s and play once or twice a week on average. Last week I shot a 79. I was over the moon. On the 16th hole, I was 2 Over Par when a thunderstorm rolled through and halted the round for 45 minutes. Without going into details, I completely fell apart, resulting in a 79.. I love this game and wish I would’ve picked it up when I was younger.

    Hi Alex,
I started playing golf in 1995, mostly on corporate invite days. Though I’ve had some success in social matches, I’ve never fully committed to the game. Now, as I approach retirement, I’m ready to take golf seriously. I plan to join a club, invest in new equipment if finances allow, and give the game my best effort.
Winning this incredible 50-year anniversary King Cobra driver would be a game-changer for me. With the potential to either upgrade my irons or invest in a new driver, this prize has me incredibly excited. I’m envisioning hitting that first shot 290 yards with this driver in hand, and the thought of it is thrilling! My driving has had its ups and downs, but with the King Cobra, I see longer drives and improved accuracy through visualisation. The prospect of this driver has me genuinely salivating at the chance to elevate my game.
Thanks for this great offer and here’s hoping for a BOOM! with the new driver!

Started playing after 60. First year was hilarious. Started watching your videos. First started practicing with hitting my driver at 50%.
It took several attempts on the range to succeed. But then pow, no effort to hit consistently 200 +. Next you introduced chipping. Another way of cutting strokes as I was able to make more putts. I’ve switched to Cobra Driver and have the same Fairway cobra that you just used.
It sure makes par 5’s less intimidating. Your my go to instructor. Keep ‘‘em coming. BTW….I’ve won the Snr league at my club and have finished 2nd in the Club Champ. I’ll be 70 next year. Cheers

I am 70 yrs old and have been playing on and off the last 15 years, A good friend gave me a Cobra Bio 17 degree and I love it and my 915 Titleist Driver just cracked when it fell on some concrete cart path. I have a 5,7,9 woods which are Cobra and I love them. Thanks for your RUclips tips they are helping me compress the ball more often, It would be a blessing to win the Cobra Driver.

Already subbed and I started playing in April of 2022. I still haven't broken 100 on a full course but I am at bogey golf on 9 hole courses locally. I shared on my Facebook page. You lessons have already improved my game immensely in just 2 weeks of watching. I hit my best driver shot to date today after watching your driver techniques yesterday. Thank you.

I started golfing back in 2008 with my dad. We went to sports authority and bought a set of Ram clubs. I used those same clubs up until last year where I started piecing together a new set. Bought Mizuno 923 Hot Metals and I absolutely love them. Woods, putter, and driver replacements coming up!

Started playing golf in 6th grade at age 10 or 11 in a junior golf program during summer at a local municipal golf course in Little Rock, Arkansas. That was in 1982 or 1983. The local pro was the instructor for group lessons & really wanted all of us to love golf like he did. I played with my Dad’s old set, not cut down just had to grip down. That was in the era of wood drivers, metal fairway woods & heavy old golf bags w/o stands.
I do remember hating how early we started, but loved the cooler morning temperature bc by the time we finished it was so hot & even more humid. It instilled a love of the game I still have today. I played till I was 18 & came back to the sport after a 10 years of growing up.
I do think my mom was just glad I was out of the house & not able to get into trouble for a half day that often wore me down for a good part of the day. Maybe why my wife likes me playing too?

I started playing when I was 7. I would go with my dad to the course, and once we got out to the 2nd/3rd hole, he would throw a ball out and let me have at it. I didn't start playing complete rounds til I was 14, about 33 years ago. Love the content!!

I started playing in high school with my grandpa, didn't play for a long time and then recently picked it back up over the last couple years. Such a great sport to get outside and focus on both the mental and physical aspects.
