    I played in a one club tournament last fall. You chose your own club. I chose my 30 degree bridge stone. I shot an 88. The guy who won shot 80 with a 6 iron. Learned for me I don’t need 14 clubs to enjoy the game. I carry 6 clubs. For me it takes over thinking out of the equation.

    after experimenting a few months (i have time to practice once a week on the range, started golf this march) , and having played my first 18 holes on the course, i decided, for the moment, to make my 4 hybrid as the main club to swing of the majority of the Tee's on the course.
    Along comes youtube algorithm with another topspeed golf video, for exactly the topic i didnt even search for yet.
    Simply, awesome-

    Such a great video. Watch the pros - a bent left knee into impact is so important, only straightening with that release point after the ball

    Clay, you had a tremendous offer for membership for the Top speed program. I saw the value and signed up. I started from the beginning, even though I thought some of it would be redundant. I started playing at the age of 22. I'm now 46. I've taken many, many lessons. I understand what you teach. To make a long story short, I have achieved a level of ball striking that I simply have a hard time believing. WITHOUT EFFORT! I am a legitimate 300 yards off the tee. Sometimes 340. The pressure to execute is real. Great moments are born of great opportunity. I have never had this much fun playing golf. Thanks to your program, I am starting to believe that I am that good. Going birdie, eagle, birdie, par isn't a fluke. (Actually missed another eagle put). Thank you so much. I went back into the vault this morning to watch drills where I see weaknesses. I will do the drills and I will have even more success. Thanks again. Thank you to the staff.

  • @elkgunner
    @elkgunner Год назад +1

    Yes, bending the left leg helps, but in your example, you don't mention pushing the left hip joint back away from the ball, nor do you mention the movement of the right knee into the correct position. I know these things because I learned them from your Paige Spiranac swing analysis video and it totally changed and fixed my swing. Simply pushing the left knee forward will not fix the issues.

    Clay great lesson as always. My problem with hybrids is hooking them off the face of the earth. I think this is due to me being only 5'6" tall. With all hybrids I have had the toe sticks up me thinking hybrids off the shelf are made for taller people. My only solution to date is to open my stance and not swing as hard which cuts my distance. Any other suggestions to eliminate to duck hook? Thanks and keep up the great work. Bill.
