ACK my friends and I coordinated to go together but the only day that worked was May 28th lmao. I didn't expect it to be open when I went but how close it'll be is maddening
A reminder that the target demographic of this roller coaster is families/low intensity riders. Many are worried about capacity but remember Invadr had the same opening; massive lines only to realize it was a fun little GCI meant to be like an appetizer to a bigger roller coaster. Busch Gardens knows Pantheon, Griffon, Verbolten, and Apollo are capacity masters, but they’re also higher intensity. I was 13 when DarKastle opened, and many said “it should have been a roller coaster” because people expected something like THIS. But over years, guests found the story unique and cherished the technology. This new version will eventually have the same effect on today’s younger guests. I’m happy that the castle still stands. It could have been scrapped or turned into a storage warehouse completely.
If someone did a compilation video with all the other angles, that would be incredible.

Yikes what is the throughput on this thing? Once upon a time in 1996 I waited 5 hours to ride Skull Mountain at Six Flags Great Adventure. (It was opening season.)
Idk the exact number but definitely not good. The ride cycle is pretty long and they only have 2 10-person trains.
It’s low, but they’re gambling on the fact that it’s a family ride and a “short” one; A ride that eventually the crowd will even out. Teens who want higher intensity will pass on this, eventually, and it’ll finally move to its target audience like Verbolten and Invadr. I remember Invadr having crazy initial lines before people found out it was a moderate GCI. Busch Gardens is strategically putting lower intensity rides out now that Pantheon will absorb the opposite demographic for a while. And Apollo/Griffon/ALPENGEIST/Verbolten handle bulk better and offer a bigger experience.
