Jetskis are my favorite 1600s castle relic
😆
This is a part of the dark horse company. Dark coaster is sent in today’s time.
They seriously should have been horse themed
Oh my god just clicked for me. Thematically, this is Disaster Transport 2.0. A jet ski ride through a medieval castle makes just as little sense as bobsled ride through space to Alaska - and I’m kind of loving it.
😂😂😂😂
I'm so glad people are finally starting to give Verbolten credit for its forces. I never understood why people think it's a family coaster, to be honest. Highly underrated.
It’s not a family coaster at all. That thing has some crazy forces! Definitely one of the best rides at BGW.
I feel like It’s mostly coaster enthusiasts that have been on some of the most extreme coasters around the country that put it into the family category. Folks who forgot what it felt like to go on some of their first coasters as little kids.
For me though, what makes Verbolten more palatable, perhaps to child me, would be the boost. My anxiety as a kid was those slow climbs so in that sense, coupled with the smaller main drops, I could appreciate this as a bridge from a family coaster to a really intense thrill coaster. Still my favorite in the park, theming and all. Sorry Pantheon.
I actually didn't realize how strong some of the positives on Verbolten were. Until a month ago when it gave me a headache from the blood leaving my head to my feet. Definitely stronger than front row on Alpengeist and the helix on Apollo's Chariot.
Verboten imo has the most intense positive g force in the park. Definitely not a family ride. This one is more so a family ride.
The conversation with the demon is one of the funniest things I’ve seen.
Pretty sure I heard a "whats in the shed?" 🤣
You did
looks like a fun family coaster! probably the most themed seaworld coaster in years!
I feel like some theming is somewhat mandatory for indoor coasters
I love when ElToroRyan goes to these press events and wears a nice collar shirt, but its still a Hurley's shirt. Never forget your skateboarding pop-punk roots.
I love your friends shirt in this on. I'm from Memphis and the zippin pippin was my boyhood coaster I could go to without driving hours away. It was a Memphis landmark and highly controversial when it was taken away. The only thing that calmed down the pippin fans was that it was gonna be sold to another park. Elvis famous used to rent out the park so he could ride the pippin as much as he wanted to. It has this amazing airtime off the first hill with only a lap bar you feel like you might fly out of the seat. A historic classic that is still alive at a new home👍🎢 great channel BTW. I rode big bad wolf back in it's hay day and it was quite the sight to see it run in person
Also your block zone knowledge is second to none lol. I always knew space mountain Florida had to be a complicated operation but I never knew how true that was till I watched your video on it
The lights on the train going through the dark and foggy space is pretty cool. How you go into the monsters mouth at the end of the ride is a cool effect.
15:32.... 💀 💀 😅🤣 Not the Block Zone question to the Character actors 😂 🤦♂️
NO ONE is safe!!😂
That setup/lead in, & reaction...priceless 😅
I love when you cover Busch, i remember when this coaster used to be different/similar...think I was waiting in a 3+ hour line on opening day when i was like 10. Busch is forever and always my fave place, I hope more people frequent this beautiful park!!
I remember waiting too! I was young as well.
DarKoaster is a great addition to fit in the old DarKastle building!
While you were doing this, went to Carowinds for the first time and broke my Giga, and launch Virginity with Fury 325 and Copperhead strike! OMG that was nuts! Aftreburn only had a 5 minute wait too! I got all the creds, except for Flying Cobras & Vortex (closed) , Nightwing (broke down in line), and Ricochet (too long of a line for a coaster I have ridden many times before). It was a great day, and a great way to celebrate a 90 lb weight loss and my 40th!
I rode on DarKoaster last week (BGW member ride time) & I thought it was a solid ride, one that would be nice for kids that are ready for their first big-time thrill ride. I had to take my glasses off (though it's survived many other rides before & they're tight on my ears... but that wasn't enough apparently), but that enhanced the experience for me! I can't wait to ride it again later this summer, though I wonder what part of the train is the best? (I rode in the middle, though I really wanted to be in the back... but the wait was a bit longer)
Easter Eggs: The two snowmobile trains used in DarKoaster are references to past rides & attractions in the Oktoberfest area of the park - Wild Wolf 9684 is for "Wild Izzy" (from 1996) and "Big Bad Wolf" (from 1984), while Frostbite 16-19 is for the Halloween maze, "Frostbite" that once inhabited the castle from 2017 until 2019.
No way bro asked the actor what a block zone is 💀💀💀💀
Can’t wait to see Dan again at Holiwood nights , what a sincere gentleman
Looks pretty cool, but watching Dan not being cynical was painful 😂
I love watching ryans transition to adulthood
Great vlog, Verbolten with a station wait is rare. I'm curious what coaster do you use to make the block brake sound effect lol?
the old Mean Streak from Cedar Point, I believe
Looks like a fun ride! I’m glad you were acknowledging how the rides slap at BGW they are sooooooo fun. Apollo’s Chariot is my favorite
It looks like a great coaster, can't wait to ride it!
Cookout is the only place to eat down there!!
Also hearing you guys talk about Ludwig reminds me of Lord Kenneth Ghostwood at ghostwood estates at kennywood.
This coaster reminds me of a modern version of Dragon at LaRonde
LA ROOOOOONDE.
dan has such an interesting and hilarious vibe. feels like he's gonna cast a spell on me
Singular train operations? What ever happened to ONE TRAIN OPS!?!?!?!😂
Man I remember subscribing to Ryan when he had 6k subscribers, and now he has 126k! Incredible for him
Sucks you couldn’t ride Pantheon. If you haven’t ridden it since media day, it runs a lot faster now that it’s warmed up.
Had the unfortunate pleasure of being four trains behind you on backrow pantheon when it closed. Hope food and wine could compensate 😅😂
I miss being apart of media days!
Thanks, El Toro. Great video, excellent fun. Be safe.
Dan you are awesome and I wud not unsubscribe if you took over the channel. Lol your smile makes me smile. 😁
The only thing that would be cooler is if they had two scenes inside the buiding and switched the lighting to the second scene while the train was in the launch tunnel. It would make the second lap that much different.
Went to BGW for the first time on Thursday/Friday last week. Darkoaster was running on Thursday and we went, definitely enjoyable but putting that up against first time on Verbolten/Pantheon was tough for me :P
I'm rewatching Parks and Rec so the water fountain comment wasn't lost on me.
We need more on ride footage from Ryan. The problematic coasters videos show us what a huge nerd he is for the technical side of coasters. But his sense of humor is so sarcastic that the coaster idiots videos often leave me wondering why he rides coasters. On the other hand, I love the footage anytime we catch him on a ride grinning his face off
Looks cool can’t wait to wait hours for it
I enjoyed DarKoaster on the season pass holder exclusive weekend, it’s not super forceful so it’s definitely a family coaster, but it’s thrilling enough for a coaster enthusiast to enjoy themselves. I wouldn’t wait for hours for a ride tho. The ride operations could be faster, so expect a wait.
Everything that Anheuser Busch built looks great. Everything that Seaworld added felt cheap and lack luster. The lack of theming in the actual ride was extremely disappointing.
For those of you who are unfamiliar: it's pronounced "Loodvig".
love when channels do cool giveaways like that, very thoughtful of you guys
I love when channels don't try to profit off of the death of a child.
Always better when you post
So early the video hasn’t finished processing to HD.
Man, its a shame every SeaWorld/Busch Garden park gets great themed rides and ride queues except SeaWorld San Antonio.
No doubt, we have great rides, but it'd be dope to have story tied to our rides or a freaking aquarium before riding like SW Orlando!
Waited to watch this video until after I rode it for myself. It was awesome! More intense than I was expecting but less strong than Verbolten, definitely a good starter coaster for younger guests. Definitely a great addition to BGW's roster!
i guess Intamin reliability still is a problem afterall with their more intense coasters :o
Jesus man, How many block zones does it have already?! 😅 love this park, love this channel.
So excited about this video!!! we are going to Busch Gardens, Williamsburg in July for the first time!! 🎢
Hey, could you ask the guy with the tripod what a block zone is? He looks like he'd know.
Skull mountain has a great first drop in the back row
SkullMountainFanboy will love that
15:30 if I had a nickel for everytime Ryan asks someone if they know what a block zone is 😂. I would probably be very rich. Idk Ryan can you back this up? Have you asked this question many times off camera? 😂
That was wild
I literally LOL'd when he asked that.
Woah woah woah is Dan a Bills Fan? No wonder he hates six flags New England.
Unrelated, but a fun coincidence 😂
Your next video will be number 420. Make it a good one!
W way to end video cookout slaps
I have one question for you, what is a block zone?
a block zone is a section of a ride that only one train may occupy, at the end of a block zone is a method to stop a train in case the block zone ahead is still occupied, this is the safety system that prevents roller coaster trains from colliding with one another.
@@christianortiz793 couldn't have said it any better my guy good shit 💯
I rode it this past summer and it was okay. I think there was some disappointment on my end with the theming, since I grew up riding DarKastle. I know it’s a coaster, so the standard should be different, but I was really hoping for something as high quality as DarKastle was. Very much agree that it would be cool with more effects.
I also miss the little animated story they would play in the line. I feel like bringing that back but making it a sequel story would be so cool!!!! Like, Ludwig died in the original ride, so maybe something talking about how people have been going missing in the mountains and there’s rumors that it’s the mad king Ludwig’s ghost getting revenge.
Overall, though, I’m also just so happy to be able to be back in the building lol. It’s so nostalgic. I spent many a hot day waiting in line in the castle!
We were literally at the gate to get on darkkoaster but there were technical difficulties so we decided to go somewhere else. We had quick queue but others had been waiting 4 hours
that coaster do be spooky mang
The voiceover in the station sounds EXACTLY like Count Vertigo from Young Justice.
When CoasterStudios has more screen time than Ryan in an ElToroRyan video.
Ludwig in the OG ride looked a lot more like Lord Darkenon from Poseidon's Fury. Ryan, have you been on that one? Jeffrey Combs voiced him.
He sounds like Count Vertigo here tho
This coaster with it's low capacity and low height requirement will allow for some much shorter lines on average for Verbolten, which is quite fine with me. 👍
@Jeremy why do you think it will lead to much shorter lines for Verbolten? As you mentioned it can’t handle a lot of riders and appeals to a slightly different customer (more family) so I don’t anticipate a big difference. Now if/when they open a New coaster Where nearby Drachen Fire used to be in the next few years- that may reduce ridership a bit on Verbolten. Then again, a new coaster also pulls more people to that part of the park
Verbolten never has a crazy long wait when I go, especially when they have four trains going, I can’t see this impacting verbolten too much
How many block zones are in a cookout drivethru? My guess is at least 4
So I recently started working at Michigan's Adventure in the Maintenance department and so far I've learned that Zamperla had installed the new kiddie rides at camp snoopy in 2020 and the rides can be unreliable most of the time, in fact the new wild mouse at cedar point has broken down a lot so far, so I don't understand why cedar fair went with Zamperla for the reimagination of Top Thril Dragster instead of the original manufacturer Intimaine who has coasters like this, the Velocicoaster, and Hagrids now, I bet they would do an amazing job fixing the POS Dragster that most likely disappointed the company for years, hopefully Zamperlas job does it justice but I'm not so sure
I forgot about the legality and the accident thar happened a couple years ago when typing this, I understand that intamin wants to cut ties with the ride I just wish they could have actually built the strata coaster of the century like they had originally hoped for
bro i haven't been able to ride pantheon since it opened. Literally closes down every time i'm next in line to ride. really sucks when you travel 3000 miles multiple times to experience a ride and never get to.
Yeah, Pantheon seems to be a total mess. Highly doubt there's gonna be more Intamins in North America if Pantheon is so unreliable.
Meet the new Intamin, same as the old Intamin.
It’s kind of par for the course for an intamin.
Ryan what’s up man, I was the guy that came up and said hi to you guys in the Verbolten queue, awesome video as always.
This coaster looks so amazing! AHH! Can't wait to hop on one of these days :-)
Are you going to be at Worlds of Fun for Zambezi Zinger opening day too?
I'm really hoping that project horizon is something similar to darkcoaster
bgs is such a nice park, i wanna go there
Looking forward to your second channel, WaterFountain Reviews!
In THIS community, we stan Dan
not the fortnite potion noises 💀
Busch gardens is now the park with the most hagrids clones
We haven’t seen Dan in a while!
parks and rec reference yaay
glad that darkoaster was great I just wished they did a rolling block for a station so the train wait dosen't have to wait for the train to clear the station but I guess that how busch wanted it programmed I guess
Love seeing all of my favorite content creators in one video. The crossover i never knew i needed.
Really enjoy your videos. One recommendation is to turn off the mirror front camera setting so text won’t appear backwards.
DarKoaster looks impressive for a family coaster
That would've been cool if they mounted some of the torches to make it look like you were using them for light
Love the bills hat Dan
verbolten = best busch gardens coaster :))
What’s a block zone, I can’t seem to remember?!
I heard you talking an awful lot about blockzones in this video, and i was just wondering if you could maybe explain to me what that even is?
4:09 off ride was sick 🤢
Bro does any other new intamin break down as much as pantheon I’m afraid of pantheon getting volcanode
love the media day vlogs! always excited to see taylor, sarah and all the other pals in your vlogs!
Bro I Found Your Brick which says R.I.P Mean Streak!
Dan rules
Ryan making a video on time? What is this?
Wish Busch Garden Tampa had as many rides as this place.
Tampa has the best B&M sit-down, Invert and arguably the best RMC. I'm not hearing it. 😂 Granted I did consider Alpengeist the best Invert until they reprogrammed the MCBR but still. 😅
@@lastone032085 I never stated anything related to which had the better rides, so I'm not sure where that came from. I'm talking about the number of rides in comparison.
@@TheRagingRayn didn't say you did, I'm saying you guys got quality over quantity.
Wait. How did you get the offride segments?
Next go to Ireland to get 4 credits why not
When does that giveaway start?
Dark Oaster
Coaster studios equipment is expensive remember
dawg the fortnite mini shields sound 💀
Eltororyan how was darkoaster?
w how low the capacity of this thing is, it might need a problematic coaster video already hahaha
Haven’t seen the video yet, but what’s the best row to sit in?
Do you think it would scare young kids?
