This has touched me so much. Stepdads do matter. I am fortunate to have mine. They walk into parent mode on day one. This guy is blessed with so much of the influence from his stepdad. The best thing in the world!
I'll never forget the look on my Dad's face when I told him I had changed my last name to his right before I got engaged. My Mother could not have found a better man to raise me. My son will now help carry the "Wray" torch and luckily for my boy he only has one "Papa"

Men, do not marry a single mother. Don't clean up the mess after another man's party. Don't play another man's saved game. It rarely turns out well. And the consequences can mean financial ruin for the rest of your life, or worse. Learn lesson from the guys who have been there. Avoid single mothers like the plague.
