Just wanted to let you know - The part where you say Minecraft Dungeons bosses are boring because you know which one you will face is only true for the normal maps. In the base game, you can do these things called 'Ancient hunts' where you go to the nether, explore and get new resources like Gold, and go through a door which gives you a random boss, called an ancient, out of several dozens. But I still love the game, whenever I'm bored and have nothing else to do it's great just to pick up and play
Hey I have some information. I have loved this game to absolute limits, I have gained 98/104 achievements and have 250+ hours on this game. At one point you were talking about the lack of lore, and fyi they wrote a whole book about the lore called “the rise of the arch illager ” and it goes into the lore in a story way yet also shows lore. Maybe if you want to get the DLC it is pretty fun. Just my opinion tho. Nice video!
Okay so, I found all the buried lore in Minecraft Dungeons, (including the DLCs) and here's the timeline, as far as I can tell; The Humans have a civilization based around horses; they use them to transport items, facilitating trade over wide regions, thus allowing society and civilization to thrive via long-distance trade. They realize the importance of these horses, and build statuary of them in town squares, often depicted as rearing. A group of Villagers that live in a desert village figure out how to get to The Nether. There, they find Soul Sand, and use it to create Soul Magic and Soul Enchantments, as evidenced by the soul lantern item. The humans also use Phantoms and parts thereof to make armor that only they have, as phantoms only spawn around humans. Humans in northern lands make great castles, and one king even ventures to The End, slaying The Ender Dragon, possibly multiple. Then, the desert villagers develop Necromancy; summoning undead servants wit soul magic, and some becoming undead Necromancers themselves. From the deserts, these Villagers begin to create an Empire under The Nameless King. They go to war with the piglins of The Nether, creating Nether Fortresses and manning them with Wither Skeletons, some even using the explosive "desert snake" bows, but those raised from Piglins sharing their distinct waddle, and wielding swords. Eventually, this empire conquers even the Human Civilization, some of which kneel under their rule, but many of the humans venture into The End in hopes to escape. This saves them, but they are trapped, unable to return to a home that was taken from them, and they abandon the overworld. These humans (and a few villagers that went with them) scatter out into the end, making End Cities, harnessing Shulkers for power, but eventually, the Void Liquid slowly corrupts them, and they become Endermen. Meanwhile, in the Overworld, The Nameless King's Empire begins to have a food issue: their desert homes are no longer viable to feed their now-prosperous empire. Perhaps inspired by the practice of fishing, they look to the Sea. They had a mighty, proud empire, they conquered the players, they conquered even Hell Itself; surely, with their magic and undead armies, they could conquer the seas. And so, with powerful Hearts of the Sea, they build mighty underwater temples, using sponges prolificly, and begin to revere the Eternal Netherrack Flames that enable them to dry the sponges even deep beneath the surface of the waves. Somehow, though, something goes wrong. Perhaps their Guardians turn on them, perhaps their human slaves revolt, but all but the undead necromancers are slain, lost to the waves, almost all of their Hearts of the Sea seemingly stolen. What few survive are pale of skin, and, tainted by dark magic, can intermingle with monsters. They become the Illagers, a nuisance on Villages, but no major threat. Then, born among them, is The Arch-illager, who is shunned for his mutated form. He goes to the villagers, but they're justifiably racist against illagers, and this spawns in him a Spite that fuels his quest for revenge. A quest that takes him to a mysterious abandoned temple, where The Orb of Dominance, an artifact possibly made by the Endermen, rests. It grants him the power to control minds, but corrupts his spite at the villagers into an unwavering desire for conquest. He uses strange golems found in the same temple to design Redstone Golems, unites the Illager Tribes, and marches on all Villager-Kind. The Piglins, after discovering Netherite, and rediscovering the semi-automatic crossbows they had used against the necromancers all those centuries ago, created a prototype Fully Automatic Crossbow, which was stolen by the Arch-illager. The Arch-illager discovers the old Stronghold of the old Human Empire, and sends expeditions there out of curiosity, wherein his wizards make End Magic. Humans, who had escaped the starving Nameless Kingdom, made a mutually beneficial relationship with the villagers, but when The Arch-Illager sent his armies and Golems, none could defend, none but four legendary heroes. They stop the Redstone forges, free the captured villagers, and retake the ancient hold of Highblock Castle, and on the Obsidian Pinnacle, defeat the Arch Illager, free him from the corruption of The Orb Of Dominance, now also known as The Heart Of Ender, and destroy it. But its shards scatter across the world and begin causing calamities, so the Legendary Heroes hunt them down. The Piglins, now rediscovered by human adventurers picking through the remains of the Illager Mansions, defend their home against these invaders, but nothing comes of these scuffles save some looting. Endermen, perhaps guided by the sentient Endersent, who seem to be corrupted villagers, retake the broken core of the Heart Of Ender, but when it is returned to The End, something goes wrong, perhaps it corrupts an endermite, because it turns into a horrific endermite-controlling monstrosity which would later be called The Broken Heart Of Ender. The Legendary Heroes, prompted by the powerful and destructive endersent, find the Stronghold, venture through The End, and slay The Broken Heart Of Ender, returning home through The Fountain
My personal Opinion is that Minecraft Dungeons has very good replayability if not for it being discontinued, being able to collect cool and awsome weapons that are unfamiliar is one of the main reasons i enjoyed it so much, it has a great progression system and i love the limited events such as the helloween and annaversary events the battle pass system was a bit over the top but it was understandable and tollerable.
As someone who finished the main campaign recently and started the dlc, I agree with most of your points except the cutscene one, because at the beginning of all of the levels there is a short cutscene that explains why you are doing what you are doing in the level, which in my opinion helps a lot with the world building, I don't know if you just skipped those or what because I'm 95 percent sure that those are just in the base game. Good video👍
Its not a full on cutscene, since its more of a cinematic camera pan with an explanation of the level and why you're there to beat up stuff. But it accomplishes the same idea.
I want to point something out that completely justifies ALL the DLCs to be compared to Legends. Legends costs 39.99 USD (base game), and Dungeons Ultimate edition, which is every DLC, is 39.99. They sell a half ass game for the same for the ultimate edition, which I have played through the whole thing, which is like triple the base game in content, and is amazing to play and expands the story a ton. each mission is about 40 minutes, which is an amazing content expansion, all for the same price as legends. So its totally fair to compare from a price stand point.
I played both games, and I got legends for free (launcher glitch I would never pay for that crap), and Dungeons is like 20 times better, with more replay ability. Legends after a while became almost like a job than a fun thing to do.
The problem is that if you don’t know what you’re doing, you’re able to play the base game and DLC’s out of the order, the us making the story not make sense
@@sboy2044 I played them, and there is not exactly an "order," only that the end dlc is last, as it has the final final boss and is the most difficult to get to, and has prerequisites to even start the dlc
I don't think it is the being bullied that makes him evil, ohhhh I know! How about enslaving and murdering people? That sounds like something a bad guy would do!
Despite the heroes not knowing what the illager's backstory was and their earliest memory of him is destroying their village, they still forgave him. Next level empathy
to add onto 2:33 when replaying through a level illager captains appear, picking up their banners affects the run in a random way such as 50% of mobs have thorns or 25% of melee mobs are replaced with zombies, or night mode (mobs that appear at night in minecraft will spawn around you meaning there are always things to fight) and then we have threat banners that increase the threat
it would’ve been fairer if you had added in the dlcs because the ultimate edition which bundles all the dlcs is the exact same price as minecraft legends
One thing you didn't look at was weekly and daily trials, which might only be available in apocolyps mode and the tower, which is a 30 floor tower with a boss fight every 10. the difference from normal levels is that the mobs get 1-2 levels higher every floor and the only way to get items is at the end of every floor, where you can choose from a mix of 5 weapons, armors, bows, and enchant points. Also your character and the weapons they have are completely different from you normal character. doesn't completely change the game but still a fun adition. also its free
7:02 i recently played a rythm game that is multiplayer There were two levels where you are expected to have atleast one other player The fist level, they give you a dog to help, but the second one is so hard You have to fight monsters and heal, sounds simple but to do these things, you have to go between these two boards and play music and they are on opposite sides of the room and you only have a certain amount of time and you have to get a certain score and your scrore goes down over time and the enemies are so strong and you get no help,i beat the boss before this level easily but i still haven't passed this one
Minecraft Dungeons should’ve never been discontinued. Legends deserved an anniversary update before it discontinuation Btw good video, I disagree one something are the Cutscenes & having to pay for the 2nd Half of the Campagin because the Ultimate Edition Exists.
I played this game with a friend before the dlc came out. Had alot of fun, there is a respectable amount of end game content with some items only being available at higher difficulties and a few levels having to be found. There was also special hidden areas in pretty much every level that you weren't likely to find on your first run through since they were either well hidden or random chance to even be present.
All of the dlcs added up is a lot but for someone who played the game since the beginning and bought each on release (1 dlc about every 3 months) it actually adds a lot of free stuff for players with each update (eg raid captains) which kept the game fresh, it only really lost popularity when the tower released as it took so long and it was so little, also if you played default to the end you unlock adventure mode and apocalypse for adventure, which actually adds some extra items as well as changes some other things, there is also apocalypse+ which adds a good challenge as well as gives a lot of replay ability
I noticed you mentioned that the game was procedurally generated, i wanted to point out that it actually isn't. instead each stage has i suppose "variants" where one stage may have anywhere from 3-5 ish different versions of it. i don't blame you for thinking this though as if you have only played under 10 hours then you most likely haven't repeated the stages enough to notice the patterns. its really only something you pick up on after dozens of hours grinding power lol.
It is procedural. Missions are made of multiple segments that come in a specific order. There are objective segments that are always the same, and there are multiple segments that usually appear between the objectives. There can be about 3-5 different possible pieces for each segment. And there are a lot of segments in a mission. Short missions have only a few different layouts because they simply have a lot less segments to change. But longer maps have tens of thousands of different final layouts.
The equipment variety is amazing, I ended up shooting 17 arrows at once. I do think that the soul build is objectively the coolest and everyone goes for it though
5:16 Id also like to add that without the first DLC, getting gilded items is significantly harder, as far as i know the only real way to get gilded weapons without it are doing the tower.
Dungeons gets its justice with the mods that add the weapons, armor, and enchantments into the main game. One of my favorite mods for Vanilla+ alongside Dragonloot.
I used to play this game so much so in the pandemic that now I’m level 356 I came back to the game seeing that they added so much new stuff I was mine blown my best gear goes over millions and such and I really wish this game got more attention as it really is a blast especially when you get a build that you really like I usually go with the fighter bindings max level because they are the fastest weapons in the entire game and the Cursed Axe all enchantments on those weapons are critical hit, whirlwind, and radiance I think it’s called where it heals you every-time you hit someone the items I use is the mushroom that make my already fast weapons so fast that I heal almost instantly from the strongest hoard of enemies in the entire game. The bow is use Auto Crossbow which is essentially what it says it is the actual fastest piece of gear in the entire game and it does explosions and goes even faster if you hold it down. My armor changes to The Spooky Gourdian which was a Halloween Exclusive armor and the Titan’s Shroud which makes my health barley go down as the armor resists trillions. I usually used a gong which weakened enemies by a ton so I can get 10 million damage on people and I use this Satchel of Elements which can either freeze enemies, put them to fire, or shoot a lighting bolt that instant kills enemies. I did play this game because I was abscessed with it and I really wish other people played it as much as I did because it really becomes one of the best dungeon crawlers I have ever played besides Diablo.
The dlcs are definitely better than the base game, they were all had much more new mechanics and innovated a little more (besides the nether that one was just boring) howling peaks is the best one by long shot.
what i like about dungeons is when you get to really high levels in the dlcs its like warframe where you need a perfect build running like a well oiled machine to sustain yourself which feels really fun in practice
After a couple tries of beating the arch illiger, I finally beat it. But a split second after I defeated it, I died because of the rotating beams. I didn’t have any totems left, so I had to do the entire thing again.
don't worry about the story feeling more complete with the dlcs. they take on a much more episodic story where 4 of them are just "one of the shards of the orb of dominance landed over in this new biome and is causing problems, go destroy it!" and then the nether dlc has no story and the end one is just "the endermen found the last shard of the orb before you, now they've taken it to the end to regenerate it or something and they're spreading end goop into the overworld" so they're completely irrelevant to the arch-illager and just kinda build up the world more as well as the mystery to just what the orb of dominance and heart of ender are
The last game my father bought me before his death was Minecraft dungeons and since then it's been my favorite game especially how much there is to do in the game
The only thing I’m pretty sure changes (especially if you play in an online lobby) you can access the tower and the little house over to the side gets small detail changes at certain points during gameplay based off what I saw. There’s also the fact that you can get more new and better gear if you play through the game more like the iron golem you can only get through apocalypse difficulty in the last level. I really wish we had more summonable allies I don’t even know if the golem is worth it.
The bosses actually do give certain items as each level has a loot pool (as you know), it’s just that as difficulty increases, you’re more likely to get good loot. Getting a unique from a boss is probably twice as likely in apocalypse compared to default.
I always enjoyed Dungeons, I remember the first play through with some of my friends and the challenge was always fun. Although I haven't played any of the DLC, I love the overall atmosphere and story. The music, structures, and subtle hints to the worlds story are amazing. Still mad that most of the unique content in the game was not eventually remade in Minecraft, not that it all should be, but certain things like the redstone golem and illager architecture would be grea..
This game is so well designed, on your first play through its super fun, and same with every other! Since you most of the time have an option to choose your mission, and you get completed different items and loot every play through, it adds a lot of replay ability, and it’s loads of fun to play no matter what the circumstances are.
There is a thing called daily trials I believe it chases up the game with additional buffs and de buffs and noticed you haven’t seen every free enchantment or item you need to change the world difficulty for that stuff
me and my dad love this game, I play it almost everyday when I can because of how satisfying it is to slaughter hoards of mobs. A shame that there will be no more updates.
The game needs open coop so bad. And or arena multiplayer for people to fight in. Also, this game needs some serious balancing when it comes to enchanted mobs in the higher levels.
The game is PEAK. The items are nice and well desinged, the DLCs are AWESOME! But I am not sure why Mojang abandoned this GREAT game. It has so much potential.
I just started playiing it again about a month ago and I am now at apocalypse plus 10, I already bought the dlcs a while ago so i got to play those. The game really makes you want to play until you have the best gear possible, and if you want to even make a whole new character and try play the game super differently from another time. Honestly a great game if you like grinding for OP gear
god, this needs a sequel. maybe give it open multiplayer like some people here are saying but if we ever do get one we will need new enemies and possibly slightly enhanced combat
I'll forever be sad about this game being abandoned. not only is the gameplay fun, it has so much cool lore potential. especially the Nameless Kingdom, who were implied to be the source of all undead.
minecraft dungeons had so many unique and fucking amazing ideas oh man why whyyyyy whyy isn't this in regular Minecraft I really wish we had more weapons and creative mod variations, sure Minecraft has a core identity and gameloop but pls make survival actually be survival and add some more adventure features I just cannot take it anymore
Its behind a paywall, but its sooooo worth it bro, the lore is there, the story is there, the variants of mobs are there, everything you said is pretty much overhauled in the dlc, if you made a part 2 about the Dlc, it would be more complete as i think you eould enjoy the game more
i remember playing minecraft dungeons on the day it came out i had fun playing it for just over a year before i beat the game and it stopped getting updates
*I mean, the option for multiplayer is always this way. Some people just like plying by themselves, but others don't. What're you going to do about it, force players to play with you when they might not want to?
my main issue with this game is that it uses power levels, i really dont like them in general but its awful here, some artifacts wont have a notable stat increase, yet itll be 7 power levels higher, an example is the ghost cloak, i had one at 113 power, then found another at 120 power, yet they had THE EXACT SAME STATS(both had +16% movement speed, 6 second cooldown), and theres countless more examples but theres also the issue with enchantments, a weapon thats objectively better than another, but dosent have good enchantments to spec into(or just dosent have a single enchant thats the base of ur playstyle), isint better than what u have, and its stupid that they have an objective marker saying what is and isint better, when they have subjectivity based mechanics that undermine the concept of a power level its just bad game design the game is still really fun, but the leveling system is a nightmare
Minecraft dungeons was so fun to play at first then it just felt grindy and it had a lack of story. Minecraft dungeons had lots of potential. I would be playing it more if there was still updates. Btw earned a sub
Day 1 dungeons veteran here, this video actually did bring me some new insight to the game, as I have a maxed out (power 260) account from over 700 hours of playtime, & I never really considered the whole “multiplayer first”, as all the dlc stuff fully completes the story, & the lore in the echoing void (end) dlc in particular has some amazing cutscenes & dramatising of the enemies & bosses. Not trying to dismiss your opinions & insights as they were genuinely interesting, just providing mine as I’ve been an avid player since day 1.
soo the flash game you were talking about is binding of isaac. theres been a remake made on steam, its very good, even better with all 3 dlcs. i would reccomend it as someone who poured 500 hours into it throughout my time playing it. very goated game
I have played so much my dungeons. It’s actually quite fun with a friend but if ur playing solo then there’s still stuff to do but there isn’t as much motivation I found
I would also recommend playing through the other difficulties, although it is a bit monotonous, the difficulty increase with enchanted mobs makes the game more fun, and with that difficulty increase, the ability to get better and better weapons makes the game more satisfying. All of your points make sense in my eyes, but the adventure and apocalypse difficulties should still be viewed and played through in my opinion. Post-Edit: Something I remembered while playing the game was that the game's enchantment system increases in variety with the higher difficulty settings, for example, in one of my playthroughs of the game, I had enchantments that were all classed as '"powerful" enchantments. This isn't available in the default difficulty, giving you all the more reason to play the game more, allowing for more variety with enchantments making the game more fun.
I loved this game, I have over 2000 hours on it, at least 500 legit level ups, and for a period of time I liked it more than Minecraft. After a long time of playing, I decided to mod my items, and it didn’t ruin the fun at all, if anything, it made it even more fun to test out insane builds. This game has a special place in my heart.
If this video does well I'll finish the trilogy with Minecraft Story Mode.

I agree with you
As someone who finished the main campaign recently and started the dlc, I agree with most of your points except the cutscene one, because at the beginning of all of the levels there is a short cutscene that explains why you are doing what you are doing in the level, which in my opinion helps a lot with the world building, I don't know if you just skipped those or what because I'm 95 percent sure that those are just in the base game.
Good video👍
Its not a full on cutscene, since its more of a cinematic camera pan with an explanation of the level and why you're there to beat up stuff. But it accomplishes the same idea.
@@Purpulearyeah but it at least explains shows you what’s to come in the Mission & what’s going on.
@@christianlewis9651 No, well that too, but I mainly meant you’re able to play the DLC’s before even finishing the main game.
Should have gotten it in England, it's only £16
Love how the bullied ones are always portrayed as villains lol
Reminds me of school teachers
I don't think it is the being bullied that makes him evil, ohhhh I know! How about enslaving and murdering people? That sounds like something a bad guy would do!
"The child who is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth"
The heroes did give him another chance at the end though
7:02 i recently played a rythm game that is multiplayer
There were two levels where you are expected to have atleast one other player
The fist level, they give you a dog to help, but the second one is so hard
You have to fight monsters and heal, sounds simple but to do these things, you have to go between these two boards and play music and they are on opposite sides of the room and you only have a certain amount of time and you have to get a certain score and your scrore goes down over time and the enemies are so strong and you get no help,i beat the boss before this level easily but i still haven't passed this one
Minecraft Dungeons should’ve never been discontinued.
Legends deserved an anniversary update before it discontinuation
Btw good video, I disagree one something are the Cutscenes & having to pay for the 2nd Half of the Campagin because the Ultimate Edition Exists.
I’m pretty sure there IS a cutscene before and after every spot
a game that starts because of villager to illager racism
there was a prologue to the story in a book presumably that follows what the arch illager (I think Archie) did and i think its approved by mojang
I read the book and I think it is one of the most important book to the storyline of not only dungeon, but the lore of the entire franchise.
The dlc does fix most of the issues u talked about the gameplay in all of them are a huge step up
This game being four years old really makes me feel old.
It would be an 8/10 for me, but the geomancer exists so I have to give it a 6/10.
geomancer is just a war crime
And the deflect enchantment on enemies
Geomancer ain't even annoying, it's the damn royal guards and the necromancers that piss me off
@@N8xd a horde of geomancers trapping you and spamming exploding stones is the most annoying thing of all time
I played this game with a friend before the dlc came out.
But longer maps have tens of thousands of different final layouts.
true, for example, highblock halls will almost always have the obsidian chest pit room as well as the piston jumps.
That's procedural generation.
My experience on the game was great and it was fun to play with my brother
The equipment variety is amazing, I ended up shooting 17 arrows at once. I do think that the soul build is objectively the coolest and everyone goes for it though
what the hell did you use as the background music from like, 1:30 onwards? it's so good
Also the best class was fighters binding with healing drugs and combo it made anything trivial
I'm playing this game on PS4 with 3 console, it's great fun! I wish they continue bring out new levels and new cool fun story
Just so you know: if the sale is still on when you read this,
The DLC IS worth it, but not the season passes
I love Minecraft dungeons I played it with my sister all the time
Sometimes, I feel like i'm the only one who ustill loves dungeons.
Ahh, I still remember when the Redstone Golem was the scariest thing ever.
At 6:35 when you metion having boss that drop the item you want, ever level can only drop so many items and thus so does the boss
I just can’t believe that Mojave reached 10,000,000 players then just stoped making stuff for it.
what i like about dungeons is when you get to really high levels in the dlcs its like warframe where you need a perfect build running like a well oiled machine to sustain yourself which feels really fun in practice
After a couple tries of beating the arch illiger, I finally beat it. But a split second after I defeated it, I died because of the rotating beams. I didn’t have any totems left, so I had to do the entire thing again.
don't worry about the story feeling more complete with the dlcs. they take on a much more episodic story where 4 of them are just "one of the shards of the orb of dominance landed over in this new biome and is causing problems, go destroy it!" and then the nether dlc has no story and the end one is just "the endermen found the last shard of the orb before you, now they've taken it to the end to regenerate it or something and they're spreading end goop into the overworld" so they're completely irrelevant to the arch-illager and just kinda build up the world more as well as the mystery to just what the orb of dominance and heart of ender are
bro skipped all the lore cutscenes at the start of every stage
7:29
Also you can unlock merchants (via finding them in levels), which will make the camp a little more dynamic
Anyone remember The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot? Used to play it in my younger years, loved it, and Dungeons reminds me of it.
I play it basically once a week every time I can, it's a really good game and deserves more love
Best Minecraft spinoff is Minecraft uno
Now you don't need tnt tono9ose friends anymore
I have that
the best minecraft spin off has got to be "Minecraft Dungeons:Arcade" its just peak..
There is a book on this game from the pov of the arch iliger, it’s of course for younger audiences but it still explains a lot
what about the tower, that wasnt behind a pay wall?
No
The bosses actually do give certain items as each level has a loot pool (as you know), it’s just that as difficulty increases, you’re more likely to get good loot. Getting a unique from a boss is probably twice as likely in apocalypse compared to default.
I felt something positive leave my body after hearing that they weren’t going to update the game anymore
5:00 But there are intro cutscenes
“lack of dungeon variety” what about the tower and the nether expedition thing (might be dlc exclusive idk)
0:59 music name?

Oh, what's that song? I've heard it before, it's so familiar!
It's the "Who's There" sound from Persona 4 Golden. A very well known sound used by some Tiktokers
It's used in those ai memes of time travellers changing older memes.
dungeons has so much potential, i remember i spent hundreds of hours grinding the best enchants for speedrunning gear and testing insane combos
The game needs open coop so bad. And or arena multiplayer for people to fight in.
Also, this game needs some serious balancing when it comes to enchanted mobs in the higher levels.
The game is discontinued, so don't expect that to come
@@leonardotrujillo8661 I don't
The game is PEAK. The items are nice and well desinged, the DLCs are AWESOME! But I am not sure why Mojang abandoned this GREAT game. It has so much potential.
I wonder what is some of you lot's favorite unique weapon? (Mines the jailor's scythe)
I started playing it yesterday i use a DPS set is it good?
You can play it even with splitscreen with your family. I love this game :)
There is some plot to minecraft dungeons its just in the description of the levels
5:52
What about raid captains, and daily trials? They have / apply random modifiers to spice up the gameplay
One fo my favourite things about dungeons is all the things you can find if you look a little deeper
Honestly I have played MC dungeons for at least 35 hours I got the hero bundle for the ps4 I loved it
I'll forever be sad about this game being abandoned. not only is the gameplay fun, it has so much cool lore potential. especially the Nameless Kingdom, who were implied to be the source of all undead.
3:32 I was fully expecting a Magicka mention, you disappoint me.
minecraft dungeons had so many unique and fucking amazing ideas oh man why whyyyyy whyy isn't this in regular Minecraft I really wish we had more weapons and creative mod variations, sure Minecraft has a core identity and gameloop but pls make survival actually be survival and add some more adventure features I just cannot take it anymore
how do you hve your skin in minecraft dungeons
Its behind a paywall, but its sooooo worth it bro, the lore is there, the story is there, the variants of mobs are there, everything you said is pretty much overhauled in the dlc, if you made a part 2 about the Dlc, it would be more complete as i think you eould enjoy the game more
i remember playing minecraft dungeons on the day it came out
i had fun playing it for just over a year before i beat the game and it stopped getting updates
*I mean, the option for multiplayer is always this way. Some people just like plying by themselves, but others don't. What're you going to do about it, force players to play with you when they might not want to?
dude i loved to play it with my dad and brother it was super fun it deserved way more love honestly
my main issue with this game is that it uses power levels, i really dont like them in general
but its awful here, some artifacts wont have a notable stat increase, yet itll be 7 power levels higher, an example is the ghost cloak, i had one at 113 power, then found another at 120 power, yet they had THE EXACT SAME STATS(both had +16% movement speed, 6 second cooldown), and theres countless more examples
but theres also the issue with enchantments, a weapon thats objectively better than another, but dosent have good enchantments to spec into(or just dosent have a single enchant thats the base of ur playstyle), isint better than what u have, and its stupid that they have an objective marker saying what is and isint better, when they have subjectivity based mechanics that undermine the concept of a power level
its just bad game design
the game is still really fun, but the leveling system is a nightmare
Minecraft dungeons was so fun to play at first then it just felt grindy and it had a lack of story. Minecraft dungeons had lots of potential. I would be playing it more if there was still updates. Btw earned a sub
isn't there a cutsense at the start of every main mission?
Yeah
To be fair, they give lore at the start of EVERY mission
If dungeons is a middle child than legends are second midle child that parents forgot to take from hospital after a birth.
MCSM in the background: "good one!"
Not trying to dismiss your opinions & insights as they were genuinely interesting, just providing mine as I’ve been an avid player since day 1.
soo the flash game you were talking about is binding of isaac. theres been a remake made on steam, its very good, even better with all 3 dlcs. i would reccomend it as someone who poured 500 hours into it throughout my time playing it. very goated game
can u make an video to mc storymode that would be intresting
The 2 best minecraft spinoffs, in my opinion, are Storymode and Dungeons
The game definitely needed more base game content and it would properly be remembered.
I tryharded so much on this game… basically reaching level 263 (max level without glitches)
