Looking great after the surgery. I LOVE the 1 minute rule! Sometimes I even stretch it to the 5 minute rule - because if I think it will take 5 minutes it will likely only take 2 or 3! I have been finding so many opportunities to put this rule into practice :)

In fact I have a cabinet that I need to go through today and reorg some art supplies and I was reminded that I have some empty containers that I can use from the Dollar Tree. Yay!
Great tips! I have to be honest and say that I find some of them to be a bit daunting. After dinner my wife and I tackle the kitchen and then do our bedtime routine with our four kids. There doesn’t seem to be extra time for the other tasks like the dusting, bathrooms, and mopping/vacuuming.
I just had to say that I've never heard of the 1 minute rule, but I've been using that tip since watching this video and IT'S AMAZING!!!! Just had to pop in and say thank you!!!!

On the subject of labeling, another way you can make it even better is to have a picture of what is inside as well as the word on the outside. This is something that, as an early childhood special educator, was considered best practice in a preschool classroom. It helps in early learning of developing word sense as well as pre math skills of sorting etc. Isn't it great that something like labeling that is so good to make your house look nice is also academically good for young children!
I have a tip for liquid laundry detergent . When you buy the large bottles of liquid detergent you can take small drinking bottles 1/2 liter or liter and fill them up . They will be so much easier to pour and to lift . You can do the same with fabric softener .

I just searched "cars and trucks wallpaper clipart" or whatever and saved the image to my computer. Then, in Excel, I added the picture as a background fill. Breathe!! I'm cracking up over the toilet paper label. Most of the stuff in my bathroom is labeled, but for some reason I can't bring myself to label the feminine products. You're right, open storage is a must. Glad your surgery went well.
