Although i am not an American, it make's me so sad, when i see people fighting to survive, and forced to sale almost everything they have to just go past another month on rent, or mortgage!
Pete, I just opened my wallet and had four ones in it. But one IS a star note. And it has three "1"s and three "3"s of which two are paired in the SN. AND, it's pretty crisp. I ran it through an online "fancy serial number checker" and it came up with a 92.6% cool factor. I will definitely be looking for more of these now, especially from my summer yard sales when I end up with stacks of Georges. Love your channel and THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
Peter, those Voltron shoes go for up to $500. The black ones are the black lion which is the main component and head of Voltron. I've seen other Voltron shoes with no box or toy for $289. Check Poshmark or Mercari as well. Those are worth money. I was a big Voltron fan. Btw, what size were they? I need size 11 or 12...
No they make particle board different now, it has to be seasoned by being told 'its entitled' for 2 hours. No really there is a difrnce but nobody notices.
Hi Pete,so i went in my girlfriends top dresser drawer, and so must have had 300-400 dollars bills all folded lengthwise and smelling of alcohol and tobacco smoke. I didn't find any that had the star on them, but a lot of them had phone numbers written on them. When i asked her why she had so many she said they tip her real good at her barrista job. i just don't understand how people can drink so much coffee until 2;00 in the morning, she gets home at 2:15 am
Glad to see another banger video ! Can’t wait for the next one Pete, that guy with the glasses trying to pay his bills was nice glad to see people like him
Love old lights he had brought in! We had one like it and sold it years ago. Definitely need to take a car ride to see your shop.. It's on our bucket list. We live in South Carolina. Love your videos keep making them❤
@8:35 ish Craiglist Hunter. Mr. Peter. That TEAC 4 track brings back memories from my recording days before the upgrades to Pro tools and other software back in the late 1990's and early 2000's. I sure hope that old analogue tape machines make a comeback. Obviously the bigger ones like a 2 inch Studer sound the best but these little guys sound amazing. Much better in the recording phase. Digital editing should have always been post phase of the recording process. Analogue tracking all the way to the mixing phase. Not 100% digital all of the way. The best sounding records were from 1975/1976 till around the early to mid 1980's. The sweet spot were the mid to late 1970's. The compression, the analogue tape, the correct mics, the studios. Bring that back baby!
Pete you should have tried to adjust the Truss rod on that guitar. I have been playing for 35 years and used to work for PRS Guitars. Just having strings at tension shouldn't warp the neck.
I think he was saying that the neck was warped from many hours of the way the guy was holding it while playing, not the string tension. But i could be wrong.
Peter! I love the videos, man. However, I'd like to see an episode of you SELLING items all video, versus buying items the entire video. Just a suggestion, keep up the great work!
20:06 my grandpa was sniper 326 in Vietnam he had a real to real camera with him for his 70th birthday I got my hands on them and had all the footage put on a CD. I have a lot of footage from Vietnam that only him and I have seen..!!! It was pretty crazy… for every foot soldier it took 200,000 shots for them to confirm 1 kill. For every sniper it took 1.7 shots to confirm a kill. His story and pictures sure are crazy.
I thought Pete was about to lose the Reeboks for the $25 above the $140 offer- which I thought would have been a mistake. Those sneakers are probably sellable @$275-$300. Nice read Pete
Not exactly a win for Pete. The likelihood that he is able to move it for a viable price in shop very unlikely. eBay is his next best bet and the fees he has to pay on a sale not worth his time honestly.
On those film reels- Unfortunately sounds like those are suffering from whats called vinegar syndrome. Often times that means the film will be kind of brittle and probably is going to crumble if you're not careful. As for the contents on them- I used to work for a company that digitized old movie film. We used to get in reels with Pearl Harbor footage all the time. Most of the time its like a mass produced reel of news footage that would have been sold in stores, for you to take home and watch on your projector. Still cool! But pretty common to find out there. Same with the "victory over germany" reel etc.
Peter , have you thought about investing in a record flattener ? I invested in one and it has saved so many records I've found . I thought it would hurt the sound of the record but if you do it correctly , it doesn't . A lot of newer LP's have warpage issues . When vinyl became popular again these record companies didn't R&D the proper way to package records . Newer package jacket sleeves , especially gatefold double LP's see edge warping . And newer LP's see the dish bowl warp . You probably know this stuff but I just wanted to be nice and help you out buddy :)
About the vinegar foot. All the old timers are big big believers in their poultice healing to draw out of infection. But I suppose its passed down and you needed something because hospitals weren't an option for many with little means and being 100's of miles away with no mode of transport.

Vinegar syndrome is what that’s called with the film. Basically it’s a reaction when the cellulose starts to decompose.
