They signed a ton of stuff with the 92 team, mostly with the entire team. Can see several online with all 13 players signed. basketballs, jerseys, posters.
Pete i collect autographs and those signatures are off but u can always send it in to psa but they will charge u a few hundred bucks to look at it though. Even if they are real proboly worth around 5k with a PSA cert.
Nice jersey, remember when these players sign different items the autographs look a little different because it is harder to sign the jersey material. The jersey material tries to move while they sign causing differences.
Combined Signature's on Jersey does not increase value to what 5 individual Jerseys would sale for, and without COA or being Graded will drastically drop values
The problem with some of the Metallic collectible LPs and picture discs from the 80’s and early 90’s is that some of them are bootleg. EBay will kick them off. I did sell a few but you’ll have to find those collectors. He’s right about the newer stuff. I had to bundle posters, fabric flags, etc., and then still you won’t get much.
Probably most of the limited production stuff was a Fan Club only release. People who bought that stuff are typically not selling it... So no comps on them.
Its incredible to me That this man. Peter I think is his name. That he Is so knowledgeable on so many things all non related. I would consider this guy to be on the Level of Genius
I wanted to comment on the signed jersey. I purchased a Reggie Miller signed Jersey at a charity event at late 90s to 2000. The players donated the signed jerseys and there was never a coa bc the jerseys came from the players to raise money for the auction. Also jerseys are harder to sign and the signatures always very slightly because of the material they are signing on. And signatures change over the years as well. But good find. And good luck with selling it. I would keep it though.

The first CD pressing of Ride the Lightning was in 1986, in Europe. 1987 in US. Even in 1984, most of the CD's were still samples of the technology, stuff like "this is denon CD', or 'audio test cd-1'. Michael Jackson got pressed on CD, Beethoven and about 5 other artists. who would you recommend to appraise some baseball cards? I inherited my grandfathers collection and there are a TON of them, primarily dodgers starting back in the late 50's
Man I had some of those Metallica albums that were numbered. One of them had a gold stamp on the back, it was given as a promotional item to a radio station. I showed up to one for some stupid event where they had me listen to heavy metal with headphones on for their entire wacky morning show to see if I would kill myself. Well I didn't and they gave me a whole bunch of albums that they never played on the station anyways, including Metallica, a few Ozzy albums, iron maiden and I forget who else. They all had gold stamps on the back that said they were promotional. of course everything got wrecked on my basement flooded. it's all gone now.
@faradaysage15 My man cave/music room is in my basement. I woke up one morning and went downstairs and found 3 inches of water on the floor. Thank goodness I had planned for something like that to happen and had all my vinyl stored on shelves 6 inches off the floor. I also run a dehumidifier in the basement during the summer. I feel for you on the loss of such great records.
Dude that Metallica collection in that condition.... would net you a literal fortune. As a Metalhead and Hardcore music aficionado, I have friends and acquaintances that would give you their life savings for it. To the right collector, of which there are a ton of them... wealthy ones at that. These people would pay far more than any Ebay prices or some Craigslist bullshit.
most locksmiths will be able to use a key blank and cut you a key by impressioning the lock, but any locksmith with the right tools can key one without even picking it.
I ran into an old friend from High School a few years back. We hadnt hung out in 20 years. He tells me " Hey Man, I still have your old METALLICA Zorlac skateboard in my basement. I have been holding it for you!" Wow. I was real grateful, even shocked that he kept it and brought up how nice that was to hold on to it. Weeks go by, I get a hold of him, " Dude, what is going on with that Metallica board?" A pause..." Yeah, I guess I was wrong, I cant find it now". That stinks. That board was a cool item, I looked em up on Ebay, they fetch good cash. I think he looked it up as well Lol. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. I still have quite a bit of the old heavy Metal stuff, but its amazing the mental blank I run into when it comes to where all my old skateboarding stuff went. Dad Died last month. We will be cleaning out his property for at least the coming year, maybe I will find some of my old stuff.
I collect things and I hope I have a collection that massive but I also hope it's something that my family wants after I pass and they don't just sell it or toss it
Well if you don't want that to happen, make plans for it to go to charity or to another collector. You're basically trying to be subtle and polite, but let's be honest, you've just written that to have a dig at them. So what if they sold it. Glad they got some money for it. The uncle's collection will now go out into the world and be available for Metallica fans to buy.
@TheDevilDogg I have a huge Vinyl/CD and rare book collection also. As I am getting older (59 now) I have spoke with my sister about what I want done with some of my collection. I told her that one of my best friends can have all or as much of my music collection he wants. The books and any remaining music can be sold and the money donated to a charity that helps kids get music equipment. I also marked and wrote down certain albums and books that are worth more than $50.
Yeah, but you need to take into consideration that you’re comparing a signature on a piece of wood compared to a signature on a jersey jersey does not sit still while they sign to get such clean signatures on the jersey is really good that’s why most of them will sign it on the numbers for the patches
Signatures vary all the time especially on different materials, think of your own signatures, a checkout signing screen, a voting registration, your driving license, a bill of sale, they never are completely identical just similar, never the same exactly
Right, but we're not famous. Most famous people are told to keep it consistent, for this very reason. And that helps them too to fight off forgeries (somewhat).
have you had your youtube brand added to your or to a llc? makes things a lot easier when dealing with people stealing your content, i deal a lot with it myself
I hope he posts of video on how the Metallica auction turned out. When I was younger I used to be a big Metallica fan. The previous oh went must have been a diehard fan, he even kept magazines and photos of the band.
Pete, you’re way high on that 1992 Dream Team jersey. Yes, the signatures are collectible, but not $100k or $300kcollectible! Authenticators want time period accuracy, so you’d also want superstars from that team, Charles Barkley, David Robinson, Clyde Drexler, NOT Kobe and LeBron…
I have a piece from a Super Bowl charity signing. The player signed at the event so no COA was given. These could be legit if the item was signed by these players at 1 event or someone took it to multiple events to have signed which would be tougher to get.
I have a question about the Metallica collection, because I have one of these. When they were on their first tour, for Kill Em All, the band had autograph parties in every city they went to. I got to go to the concert _and also_ the autograph party, where I bought Kill Em All & had it autographed by all 4 members, _including the late Cliff Burton!_ Cliff was their original bass player, who died not long after. I've seen these autographed Kill Em All albums going for $5,000-$5,500! I've personally been offered 5k for mine, but I won't sell it. I'm not a collector but the record is too special to me personally. It's valuable because it has the late Cliff Burton's autograph on it. I'm almost sure there was _not_ one in this collection, because these guys are overflowing with integrity and would've pointed this out. But still I wonder.
overflowing with integrity lol, i can bet the collecion is worth 7500+, hence the slight guilt trip to customer as he rights them up, "i was a little bit disappointed"😂😂guy is a pro trader

Larry Byrd looked legit. My signature can vary wildly
Make lots with the cheap stuff like a cup a t-shirt and a blanket might be a good idea
I really like the Metallica collection. You won’t have an issue selling any of that stuff.
most locksmiths will be able to use a key blank and cut you a key by impressioning the lock, but any locksmith with the right tools can key one without even picking it.
Wait a minute, aren't those locks non-functioning display models or something?
I ran into an old friend from High School a few years back. We hadnt hung out in 20 years.
He tells me " Hey Man, I still have your old METALLICA Zorlac skateboard in my basement. I have been holding it for you!"
Wow. I was real grateful, even shocked that he kept it and brought up how nice that was to hold on to it.
Weeks go by, I get a hold of him, " Dude, what is going on with that Metallica board?"
A pause..." Yeah, I guess I was wrong, I cant find it now".
That stinks. That board was a cool item, I looked em up on Ebay, they fetch good cash.
I think he looked it up as well
Lol.
Yeah, but you need to take into consideration that you’re comparing a signature on a piece of wood compared to a signature on a jersey jersey does not sit still while they sign to get such clean signatures on the jersey is really good that’s why most of them will sign it on the numbers for the patches
i what if they sign in a different angle and using a different type of signature writing utencil and rough surface!
Signatures vary all the time especially on different materials, think of your own signatures, a checkout signing screen, a voting registration, your driving license, a bill of sale, they never are completely identical just similar, never the same exactly
It’s 100% fake, unfortunately
Variation is one thing, bad forgeries are an entirely different thing
every time i sign my name it looks different
Yeah but some of those are way off , plus no paperwork is the first give away
Right, but we're not famous. Most famous people are told to keep it consistent, for this very reason. And that helps them too to fight off forgeries (somewhat).
@@JJ-yn8fl right, plus for that many signatures to look different, definitely looks shady
Hey Pete with those locks w/ no keys take those to a locksmith and have them keyed for just a few dollars man that way you can add keys.
have you had your youtube brand added to your or to a llc? makes things a lot easier when dealing with people stealing your content, i deal a lot with it myself
Did i miss something? Where's Ruby?
That collection is insane, a whole lot of work to see what you have!
Creep
@@BB-re6nz wtf you talking about?

I hope he posts of video on how the Metallica auction turned out. When I was younger I used to be a big Metallica fan. The previous oh went must have been a diehard fan, he even kept magazines and photos of the band.
Awesome Metallica collection!
I've seen metallica 16 times over the years and had a stroke when I saw this collection. Wish I would've had someone offer it to me... lol
Even at paying $5k for everything... Still probably about 30% of what it cost to buy everything new!
That first customer had a Alien, sculpture or something @7:15. I did not see it on your market place. Is that in shop only?
Merch suggestion - I would buy a T-Shirt that says "I like the Patina" on it ;)
Really enjoy the content here❤
Look up auctions from that time?
Impressive collection pick!😮
Good Video Peter.. Thanks.
Did you put a muzzle on ruby ?? 😄😄
That Pigface album art poster is spectacular! You're giving me ideas kid🤠
Wow, the store owner left the door open for a $2500 counteroffer, but they didn't even try. Rookies.
he will make 4000 on the records
@@reesilva1At Least !
hell no. aint no way pete would have forked over another 200. maybeee 75.
Right!! 😅🤦🏼
@@Bruce_99come back with 2,800 would of settled for 2,500 easy
I had an amazing pool sick from Metallica as well aside from my Hetfield guitar
Id like to see your cd collection if you have any
That women's loader then a airpot!!!
We can all say is that the uncle was.. a true Metallica holder AKA number one fan 😂😂😁😁👍😉💯💯
U have a online site to buy..i see some metallica I'd buy...those tiki I'll buy
I have a piece from a Super Bowl charity signing. The player signed at the event so no COA was given. These could be legit if the item was signed by these players at 1 event or someone took it to multiple events to have signed which would be tougher to get.
That jersey is a terrible fake.
@@sureshotgazza1127 Yes, he's a "pro trader" with obvious, abundant _integrity._ If not, he's doing a great job fooling everybody. He discloses his purpose (to make profit and sell, normally, for twice his purchase price), he nearly always shows customers what items have _already sold_ for, and he discusses specific issues affecting the value of an item.
@@sureshotgazza1127 Do you need a pacifier?
that bearded fellow was hilarious ' Oh I skimmed it all for the best stuff already' - but he seemed pretty clueless about everything as she responded "we hope" LOLOLOL
