The feature that is most important on Asus MB is the bios flashback. some people think that you can't erase the AGESA update,(if you roll back). that's not true. you can erase it. you just need to short the clear CMOS ram before rolling back. then flash it. you can also update the motherboard with no CPU no graphics card no ram nothing, all you need is the 24 pin power connector. awesome MB.

What do you go if your Ssd is not in the boot list? I enabled the port and the bios see's it but i don't have it in the boot list. It's just in stotage

Hi, great video for newbys like me, I'm old school and have never used a bios like this before, I have found it very easy to navigate but, I have a windows 10 boot problem, I have tried many times with many different adjustments, I was lucky and managed to boot win10 but then nothing, I have tried again from scratch trying all sorts. I've cleared CMOS also to make sure its a clean setup, and tried different graphic cards. I don't have this WiFi version but the board is the b450 the same and I have 16gb of ram over 4 slots again trying different combinations and less and more stick changes, I have the newest bios that was downloaded via Ethernet and have a ryzen 5 3600. My issue is when I try and load windows it stalls on the spinning dots, but I have noticed if I have different keyboards or mouse it changes when it stalls, I have used a PS/2 keyboard a all in one wireless USB keyboard/mouse, switching certain USB sockets off/on and as I say it changes where it stalls. I'm not sure what the GPUs makes or capablilties are but my son has loaned one from he's which he said is shit hot lol. Am I right in thinking with this board a CPU I need a separate GPU? I was Lucky as I bought just the second hand gaming housing and the mobo and cpu were included all for £1 from eBay, I thought I was buying a empty case but once I got it home I realized had extra and after contacting the seller he said he just bought a new set up and wanted this one to go to a good home. Would have been nice to see the options within pcie as people using risers will need to set it to 3.0 instead of 4.0 since you can't really get 4.0 riser cables yet and it tends to act up. But nice video!

The led lightning option, what if i put when system is in sleep hibernate or soft off states to stealth mode does that just disable the rgb light on my motherboard when its shut down? I also disabled usb power delivery in soft off state, does it affect any other components when i touch these settings?

On my memory in bios it said 2133Mhz but yours says 3600mhz. Why is yours higher? I have 2 16gb g skill 3600mhz memory. What does the frequency do? Should I keep mine like it is? 🤷♂️
I may be late but by default the system is setting rams at standard lower speeds like usually 2133. go to the AI tweaker then open the memory frequency, you will see a bunch of different speeds, locate the speed of your ram and hit enter. save and exit, voila!
Ok so using the non wifi version of this board. Ready for this?....so I get display only on a TV but will not get display on actual monitor!. All drivers are up to date. Please help I am loosing my mind. Pc works 100% perfectly only on tv but nothing on monitor.

I have a problem. Have the same mobo as you without wifi. I see my 2 storage units under storage ifo. But they dont come up in boot priority. Have also tried my windows usb, usb comes up in boot pri. When i click that usb the comp restart and goes to bios again.
@@arturohuizar8558 Go into bios. Go to where it says boot.Then you will find a choice called CSM. Click on that choice. Only one i change was "bootdevice controll" to uefi and legacy OPROM. The other choices is set to Legacy only.

I also ran into this issue after just buying this board and having a fresh build. I was able to install all the drivers from the supplied disc but upon reset the Audio, Lan, & Wifi drivers did not install. I bought a wireless usb network adapter and connected to my wifi. Downloaded drivers from www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-B550-F-GAMING-WI-FI/HelpDesk_Download/ and now can't run the setup program for any of the drivers for some reason. I'll update this comment if I find a solution. Have you found any solution yet?
Tom Guest Media I had the same issue. I just downloaded the WiFi driver off the ASUS website! Copied it onto a usb, transferred it to my new pc and then unzipped the file, installed, then voila my issue was solved. Hope this helps bc I couldn’t find an answer for it when I ran into this issue

I got b550m plus and i don't have Graphics card information! Why? How do I change to onboard Graphics?

That is correct the RGB lighting will turn off when you power off your system. The USB power setting shouldn't affect anything else

I had the same issue, you just have to grab the driver for the mobo on asus website. install the lan driver and you should be fine.

where do we need to go to Overclock the iGPU if I have an APU chipset? Specifically I have a Ryen 5 5600g.
