      can't say the same for myself, but this is likely possible due to my anxiety of this stupid little situation messing with me right now.
      i probably need a new some kind of fan, but i thought that maybe it could be fixed by messing with with my BIOS and adjusting my fans speed.
      because my damn PC will restart when i play any demanding game, i think it's over heating, because i can make my room really cold and it will run just fine, but if it gets warmer the damn thing reboots while i play and that gets super annoying.

      i think i have to get some new ones, one of them squeaks sometimes, i have cleaned it, but it still happens every once in a while.
      lately it hasn't been having the overheating issue, i guess it's because it's the colder time of the year where it never reaches the point where it's too hot and restarts.
      it was doing this about a month ago, but now it works fine.
      but i guess i could get more fans, i have wanted to install something experiential like a vacuume that sucks the hot air out of the tower before it has time to settle, maybe it's a stupid idea lol.

      recently i purchased one of those rechargeable air compressor things so i can properly clean my PC, because the cans never lasted long enough and so i didn't clean as often as i should, now i can clean it any time and not run into that issue so the hardware will last longer.

    I know this is an older video but a bit of advice. The overclock profile from these companies often runs with some very high voltages. I would HIGHLY recommend doing some stress testing while monitoring the temps to make certain your temps are reasonable. High temps can lead to your cpu thermal throttling; leading to worse performance and shorter lifespan.

    • @alexzero3736
      @alexzero3736 Год назад +5

      Actually, modern motherboard wont allow this. System wont start if throttling is detected.

    Everyone has their own liking for setting up fan curves, but what I did was set the CPU fan curve and one fan port curve to match. Then used a 4 pin PWM fan controller that I hook up all my fans then hook the controller up to that one fan port on the board. As the CPU fan rises so does all the other fans to match. I know some claim negative air flow is best, but for me I'd rather have zero air flow restriction as much as possible... but that's just my opinion.

    My mpg z390 gaming plus wont keep its bios settings/wont run period with XMP on or on the correct ram speed with XMP disabled. i5-8400 & 4 matched g.skill 16g 3200 mhz . I get a boot loop or fail and it reverts to optimized settings (XMP off and 2666mhz). if I set it manually to 3200 (or any setting between that and 2666) it runs but doesn't seem like its running well enough (I do cad and 3d modeling/rendering) and the next time I start or restart the pc it goes straight back to bios and reverts the RAM speed and repeat. I'm a total newb at messing with bios so any insight would be great.

    My msi b450 max setup my 3.6ghz cpu to 4.4 ghz by default and in the OC option i set the ram to its speed. The problem is the cpu ran fine but in games was jerky until i changed the cpu to 3.6 ghz and let turbo do all the overclocking. I don't use xmp and my ram run at 3200mhz what it's rated for. It also reports 3200mhz in task manager. So no, you dont need xmp at least on my mobo. The systen is now stable and doesn't overheat. For some reason mobo manufacturers set your cpu to run at their highest speeds and burn out your system.

    I prefer to build a system for a specific play resolution of adequate power/quality running stock that I don't need to stress components with overclocking. I also build them so I don't have to touch/upgrade them for their designated lifetime of use (or beyond to whoever will end up using it when I move to my next system). I'm currently building a 1440p system this month, & retiring my still-rocking 1080p 2019 gaming build system. My 1440p build will pair the efficient little powerhouse Ryzen 9 7900 12C/24T GPU with the cool, quiet running ASUS TUF version of the 7800 XT, since those two are a great pair for a no-bottleneck robust 1440p gaming system.
