I used to go out with someone who had an emu farm, and slaughtered them for meat and oil. I helped him one time and it made me a vegetarian. This video really hit me. I never knew emus could be so loving and sweet. I'm super glad these people made sure this emu could live a long healthy life.
loll that made you a vegan? its all about how its done farm animals can live a great live and you can make them oblivious to fear of death if you want to,,,,,,,,number 1 rule they can never see the knife and second never do it in front of the other animals ......... we use to put turkeys other animals down , give it some sweet licor or lots of beer and it passes out and wakes up in bird heaven :)

Thats kind to say but incorrect, animals often have conditional love, you start to abuse or not take care of the animal anymore and then they dont love you anymore which is therefore conditional but again this depends on the animal, some have love more conditional than others granted but any relationship to an extent is often conditional due to conditional love deriving from the need/want to survive.

OMG that is sooooooo cute and adorable. I've seen these birds and they are very dangerous and territorial. She's the first emu that ive seen that has a close and a very emotional intimate bonded relationship with a human. She's totally whipped for him. Hes so lucky. Its like she chose him. You can tell who ever owned her in the past loved on her and treated her well. Ive always thought, that when a human can win a wild animals trust, that human is blessed for life. Shes amazing. I hope they spend many, many more happy and loving years together❤.
