These kinds of interactions are common between domesticated animals, and like in this video, between domesticated and wild animals, but I wonder how often interspecies friendships occur between wild animals. Do predatory animals befriend animals they would normally consider a meal? If a cheetah made friends with a rabbit, would it refrain from eating all rabbits, or just that one it befriended. Would a rabbit stay around and be the cheetah’s friend if it ate the rabbit’s family? The dog and the panther surprised me because that panther could have easily killed that dog. It's partly because they live with and are fed by equally sociable humans that they can expand their adaptive friendliness to animals they would otherwise have to hunt and eat to survive.

Apparently dogs are EVERYONE'S best friend 😊
Just realize little bit if i'm a dog person but i'm not that extroverted and easy to pulling new friend just like this cute creature.
When I brought my daughter home after her birth, my GSD, Zeb gave her the once over. He was concerned that she had only 2 legs & no tail. He didn't learn to love the "ugly puppy" until she started dropping food off her high chair. He soon discovered if he put his head through the chairs leg holes, she'd giggle & drop more. Friends until he passed, she's never been without a dog.
Absolutely precious ❤️ If only people were so loving and friendly.
It's partly because they live with and are fed by equally sociable humans that they can expand their adaptive friendliness to animals they would otherwise have to hunt and eat to survive.
ARE WE NOT GOING TO TALK ABOUT THE LION WHO PICKED UP THE DOGS PAW AND KISSED IT WHAT A GENTLEMEN
Lion Saliva contains Hydrogen "Purr"oxide. I might be fibbin', but, i'm not "Lion."
I've seen a slightly longer version, where the dog runs off to the right of the screen and the lion goes after it. I'm guessing it doesn't end well for the dog.
@@DuckReach432 Yes it does, the clip is removed now, but it's a fairly famous dog and lion.
Not just man’s best friend. Dog’s are such little lovebugs! 😍
Omg the dog with the elephant, so gentle.😻😍
Brilliant, just adorable dogs could teach us humans a thing or two! 🥰
This is so funny and adorable at the same time!!! Love it like ofc!!
