The cat sleeping on the back leg of the dog, that was my cat and my Afghan Hound. Dad put the pets in the garage at night and we would go and let them in the house in the morning and my cat would be curled up on his back leg. A living breathing heated rug.
I know for a fact that people who grew up with pets in their lives are people with great empathy, compassion, kindness and patience. I can credit many anxiety rescue situation to these animals.

It's VERY sad to see cats that are unwanted and thrown away by people who did not want them. Also, dogs who have puppies. Has anyone been to animal control lately? They put them down hourly!
