The little old man trying to take his dog for a walk but the dog is so far behind it's resisting to go that would literally make a hilarious statue display to put in front of a vet office
My dad once took our golden retriever to the vet. Before we came in there was only one other dog in the waiting area, a German Shepherd K-9 police dog. He was sitting there next to the officer that had brought him in, behaving perfectly. Then we came in. Our golden retriever started jumping, barking, yipping, and generally acting like he was either trying to escape, fight, or dance. The officer was amused while I swear the Shepherd was looking at our dog like he was an idiot.
This is so relatable. I had a large, mixed-breed dog that could smell the Vet from 29 miles, and he had to be carried to the car, inside the Vet's office, and resisted the entire time. He was about 75 lbs.Join the crowd. Lol.
I was visiting my sister. She asked me if I would take her yappy Schnauzer to the vet for her annual appointment....she needed to go to work. She said that Chloe goes bananas as soon as she sees another dog in the Waiting Area. So... I took the throw blanket off the sofa with me. As we exited the car in the parking lot, I wrapped Chloe up like a baby and threw one corner of the blanket over her head. She never made a peep! No see. No bark! The receptionist could not believe that I was holding Chloe in my arms.
Poor babies, I remember my doggie Dolce when she needed to go to the vet, she always so upset. She is in heaven now having fun with the angels 😇 no more vets ❤. Thank you to the vets for keeping healthy all our babies 🐕😻
My rescue cat does an Oscar worthy performance every time, we go for his semi annual check-ups. Ive had him for almost 5 years, since he was about 2, and those were apparently 2 miserable and scary years outside. Hes 100% indoor and feeling very safe and confortable inside. But that outside still scares him. I leave the carrier out all the time, he even sometimes sleep in it, but he has some instinct telling him, when its time to go outside, I have to shut him into the room with the carrier, then chase him around to catch him. And then he suddenly has 16 paws instead of 4 to avoid getting into the carrier. When finally we manage that, he looks at me soooooo hurt. The moment, we step out the door, he starts whining. And I mean whining, so ppl passing by are laughing. He whines pitifully all the short way to the vet, then the moment, we step inside, he goes limp like a rag. The vet can easily handle him and examine him, coz he just hangs there completely limp, like hes given up on life. That lasts all the way home. Open the carrier at home, he darts out, and suddenly all is right with the world again! He knows the drill, yet he does this every single time.
Doesn't look like anyone mentioned it but I freaked out when the syringe flicked out of the doctor's hand and went into the nurse that was holding the dog. I almost had a heart attack.😮😢
We had a cat whose leg used to go every now and again. She couldn't use it at those times. It used to lock up. She was the one who told us she needed to get fixed by nudging us every time she had the problem. The vets were so impressed with her that she was so good for them. She was an exceptional cat. I have the most wonderful all-cat vet. She holds the cats close to her chest as she examines them. It really helps reduce the stress. I hope she never retires!
My dog actually likes going to the vet. She shakes like a leaf initially but once in the room she is such a trooper. She even takes shoot well. . .so long as she ends up being held afterwards. 😆
It freaks me out every time I see one like a drama queen. I mean... they where supposed to run for miles in the cold arctic with a sledge tied to them 😂
Our senior girl, Gracie loves going to the Vet. She basks in the attention and when she got a kiss on the top of her head by the nurse for "being a brave girl" she was purring.
My little sister is training right now to be a Veterinarian, and she sees this kind of stuff all day. Honestly I'm jealous of it, but I also know that she is in her element as she always comes home happy about what she got to do that day. I also love hearing the goofy stories like what's presented here in the video.
My one dog will let me put him on the scale when we get to the vet's office. Then, he heads for the door afterwards. I guess he figures he's done-let's go home.
My poor dog got poisoned. I took him to the vet. He didn't want to go inside, but he did go. He stood on the table like a champ while they gave him the drip and multiple medications, once or twice pushing his muzzle into my chest as I stood next to him. He didn't make it, but I'll never forget how brave he was in his terrible suffering. Rest in peace, big fella!
Did he have to be put down? Whatever happened rest in peace. My cat who was only 3-4 years old had to be put down due to a disease causing his skin and teeth and eyes etc to go yellow, kept wetting and dumping around the house, legs failed to work and more, I remember coming back home from school and happy to see him thinking that him going to the vets meant he'll be better but sadly I heard he got put down
@@theonionsystem7779 He wasn't put down, we kept him on fluids to the end, but the internal bleeding overcame him. The vets were moving heaven and earth to save him. He must have eaten a poisoned rat or something, because it took days to kill him, and he was passing blood every time he got fluids.
I am sorry for your loss, our hearts are shatterd when the leave.. Yesterday it was 2 years without my mix breed baby. She was a rescue and the first time I took her to the vet she was so sad, I am sure she thought she would be abandoned again but we lived happily for 10 years.

My dog loved going to the vet, he was a sweet social Springer that enjoyed meeting the other pets and was happy to see the vets. I’m sure the vets appreciated seeing a companion that actually looked forward to seeing them. My cat on the other hand is a different matter 😅
My two cats (both gone now) were complete opposites at the vet. My fur son, he hated it so much and was ao nippy that he had to be knocked out each time just to do his exam lol. My fur daughter, she literally was such a social girl that she didn't care when going. She even went to their nurse/doctor door in the exam room so she could look into their window and meow at them to come pet her lol she always ran out of her carrier so that she could say hi and trot around the room happy lol they would come in and she'd be doing that "pet me" head butt and smiley with them and happy to see people lol
4:33 Dog: "Bitch Imma pull you with me if you don't let go." Vet: *Keeps ahold of him.* Dog: "All right. You asked for it." *Runs off with vet on his back.*
My German Shepherds are talkers too. I took one to the vet for an ear infection. He not at all a biter, but is so big and strong, they decided to sedate him to clean out and treat his ears. The whole place was in hysterics at the sounds coming from the back... it would start as that happy, blissful groan, then rise up to a howl, over and over. 😂
The first dog I had, B/Collie x Lab. just loved the vet. We waited for our turn. (general annual jabs). Every time the surgery door opened, she pulled toward it and said "My turn, my turn". This raised laughter in the waiting room. For some reason she just LOVED going to the vet...

My dog love’s going to the vet - probably because he knows he’ll get at least a dozen beef liver treats and a lick mat full of peanut butter! It helps to have a dog-owning Vet who truly loves and understands dogs.

I love seeing the variety of reactions. However, as a former dog trainer, I will say that you can desensitize your dog to the vet's office so that you can at least enter the building without them freaking out or resisting. It takes effort, but it is possible. They may still freak out when they are taken into the exam room, but you can at least get them to be okay in the waiting/reception room usually.

We got our dog Bingo when he was already 7 years old and obviously did not have a good life before, scars all over his body and everything 😢. I have had a few dogs in my life. Only one, my K-9 partner, a longhair GSD loved the Vet. And the Vet loved him back. I´m sorry but I love to see all the reactions from dogs visiting the Vet. ILMAO
2:53 😂😂😂
The cat crying and hiding under wooden chairs breaks my heart! My cat cries like that when the visit gets long.
man i'm difficult to make laugh.. but that doggo running with the vet on his back got me goooooooood hahahaha
We got our dog Bingo when he was already 7 years old and obviously did not have a good life before, scars all over his body and everything 😢. We took him to the vet to let him be checked, but he didn't want to get out of the car... So we ended up with this wonderful elderly vet squeezing inside my trunk together with my trembling dog, still thank you for that one Doc! ❤️👍👍👍
That husky who's head goes nuts is hilarious. And the last one with his/her tongue out.. ❤😂😂.
"I'm in a car! It's the BEST!! Wait.. 😮" 😂
Lol sooooo cute!!
The vets we go to are amazing because every time we have had to take our cats they are able to quickly understand how the cats feel and put them at ease.
Cute and funny video. Poor animals in the vet.🥰🤣
GS my favorite ❤
