With the exception of bears, all those animals are social creatures like humans, so they already have a reference for forming bonds with other beings besides themselves. If a human is with them enough and helps them, eventually they can learn to trust that human. But even bears know care and concern because they care for their young. Elephants in particular are very intelligent and show complex social interactions within their herds, including mourning their dead and tending to their wounded.

@@bud1221 You'd be wrong if you think no one cares about what I or others have to say. But you're right that no one asked. Fortunately, no one has to ask. This is a public space in which individuals are encouraged to comment. And guess what? No one here was asked for an opinion. We just give them. It's called socializing and sometimes they involves joking around, like in my case. You should try to be more kind to people. It will help you feel better.
I love that the concept of a hug seems to exist in animals too. Like, they're obviously not attacking, or else they would be trying to bite or claw, but they were just holding. Maybe it's the idea of holding someone or something in your arms to protect it, and the security of a hug. Holding something close to keep it safe There's nothing defensive about grabbing onto someone and not trying to attack them, and none of these behaviors seem to be anything other than appreciation and love. I don't want to jump to conclusions about their behavior and apply human concepts to it, but I really don't see another explanation. They obviously don't view them as threats, and aren't looking to attack. And THEY went to the humans, so they're obviously not forced and aren't looking to flee. They don't seem stressed by the hugs and don't feel trapped, otherwise they'd try to get away, not continue holding on It's just a mutual show of affection
Those Lions were so sweet, especially the first one almost had me in tears, same goes for the guy who just wanted to see his dog again after the hurricane. I completely share these emotions and am so glad that there are people like me out there who value animals in the same way instead of those that would go and hunt animals.
I wish i had a lion or feared wild cat as a pet, no scract that, as a best friend, because lions unlike pets (domestic cats and dogs) dont get controlled by humans, we both equal
Holy shit 5000miles and remembering where to go while avoiding predators, thats real love right there 10000mile round trip each year just to see your friend. Thats real friendship
Its actually 5000 miles round trip. They say it In another video. They actually don't know where he goes but it's their best guess he goes to argentina and comes back to visit
I love how they jump up like they're still their baby onto their arms, legs and all, it's actually making so emotional at how strong and beautiful the link of loving someone can last and be.
It’s honestly amazing how lions can be the most ferocious animals in the world, and yet also some of the most caring. Obviously it’s heartwarming to see a lion react with joy at seeing an old human companion, but the care and love it must take for such an animal to avoid clawing their friend from excitement is truly astounding.
I think it’s just so incredible and spectacular that a human manages to have a relationship with wild animals because they aren’t naturally pets or safe to keep but this just shows that not all animals are the aggressive, over protective animals we think they are
Penguin with a house on the beach.. Most be the coolest Penguin in the world.. I get why he wants to stay connected, but I pray the swim there isnt too dangerous for the little guy..
Only if they are raised in captivity and even then they are still dangerous dont go approach wild animals like this nor captive animals either they are not meant to be pets
@@TisDansk bro bears are completely harmless, just look at Winnie the Pooh.. not to mention there is like no situation where someone would even have an opportunity to approach most of the wild animals in this video.
This may be crazy but no it's not. have you seen a lion killing cubs, wolves killing coyotes, baby penguins being eaten alive by another bird predator while it's parents do nothing. These animals in this compilation are what they are because of these people they truly bonded with not the other way around
Wolves are generally afraid of uf. I guess if you approach them calmly amd letting them know you won’t do anything bad, they will start to trust you, and then they will want to meet you.
Dogs are wolves, but they evolved over the course of time. Wolves were tamed by natives long ago and soon became the doggie decendants they are now. Wolves are no different. As long at the human is not a threat, they see no harm in socializing and befriending one.
8:00 I couldn't hold tears anymore, this is just so heartwarming =,) I cannot imagine how happy that man had to be to see his dog he thought he lost forever.
When you remove the stress of survival and competition from between two non-hostile life forms, a lot of interesting things can happen and it's really quite cool.
They all do, they just show it in a different way reptiles don't have the muscles to show expression in the face since they originated in mammals with the purpose of drinking milk from the mother and later used as communication way too You will even see crocodiles running at their rescuers happy but they can't wag tail or smile they just run to them and let them pet them because of their body limitations
@@anixes exactly as i said they didnt evolve the muscles on the face since that in mammals originated only as mobile lips to help babies suck milk but then with the use of it as emotions it expanded in the rest of the face, reptiles never had to suck any milk (that sounded so wrong) (btw this also includes birds) they still have emotions they just cant show it the same way mammals do
Once you've met tame lions it's hard to ever see them as fearsome again. I worked around lionesses and my goodness they are the biggest lovebugs, they make dogs look aloof
I had a cat that if anyone in the household left he would get upset and do things he knows he shouldn't do. On the flip side of that, when my sons were born and we bought them home (3 years apart) Willow would stand guard over their cribs and no matter how rough the boys got playing with him, he only returned love! RIP Willow, you are missed!
Yeah pets are great protectors my parents tell me story’s of when they brought me home my dog shorty which was a dash hound would lay his stomach on mine to make sure no one touched me except my parents
We've had a few cats who are similar. My cat used to refuse to eat if I'm away for a few days. Now she just snubs me for a day or two. My mum's cat who passed away several years ago used to watch over me when I was younger too. And she would pee on mum's things if mum was away for a few days. And my sister's cat is hella protective. She is ready to go anyone who makes my sister scream (she almost went mum once when my mum and sister had a tickle fight and my sister screamed really loudly). She is also protective of the other cats in the house. If they make sounds of pain, she comes running, ready to fight whatever is hurt them...which is generally them just being idiots and hurting themselves or each other. My other cat also growls if someone walks through the yard at night (we have low fences and people and big dogs take that as an invitation to waltz through the yard). These cats are/were all rescues as well
This shows that love, support and acts of kindness can take any "beast" or animal to a place of hope and can turn something that is so scary into something so beautiful

Got to admit, that prison program where prisoners are assigned dogs for companionship is a lovely idea. Sure, maybe some prisoners are beyond saving, but clearly not all of them. Animals are the best 🖤
It can really help finding a reason bigger than yourself as driving factor to become better. Have a connection with an animal is amazing and the prospect of "If you get your shit together you could keep this one and more." is a really good goal.
Pretty sure There was a program like that but with cats. The cats ended up helping the prisoners a lot but a prisoner ended up dying because he poured juice all over another inmate's cat To be fair, who pours juice on a cat

I felt bad for the veteran from the first clip. Imagine being so excited to see your dog that you have people filming you, and you've been gone so long your dog doesn't recognize you anymore.
Animals can remember a person's kindness better than humans. People often forget who helped them and don't remember people’s kindness. Most of them take it for granted. Animals never forget!! This video makes me smile.. thanks for sharing ❤️
Animals also be violently fucking each other up in the wild. Just because one is nice to some human cuz he cares for him and nurtured him doesnt mean he wouldn rip your head off at first sight. Humans actually are only averagely murderous to our own species compared to tons of other species.
Ironically this is because humans are so genetically wired to be backstabbing a-holes that the brain actively filters out good memories and remembers bad memories about others better as a defense mechanism, probably so you don’t get manipulated using your memories or something….
Not sure just how true this is, human to human reactions like this are not usually captured. If a human saves another humans life and they meet after years and years, I can almost say with 99.9% confidence, the one was saved WILL remember. It’s just not something people usually want to see on RUclips/ is even recorded. The reason people like seeing animals are like the ones with the lions, where they will usually rip your head off, but doesnt due to the care they were given. Humans don’t tend to rip others heads off regardless of being saved or not, so to the audience, it’s nothing special
Something I really love is how these stories showcase that animals are capable of deep, emotional bonds regardless of size and species. Any time a human is injured by a large animal, people get idiotic towards those who defend the animal. Truth is, for anyone who works closely with animals, you learn they think you're just like them. They don't always realize how fragile humans are, and they can be just as devastated as any human when they're taken from loved ones. It's too narrow-minded to think otherwise.
@@SteveAbbottOfficial I didn't say they should be pets. "Wild" animals belong in the wild or under the care of trained professionals. You have to appreciate the strength and capabilities of ANY animal. Hence, trained professionals. Accidents happen, but when one side is the size of a small car or has claws that tear apart meat, even a tiny accident can cause big damage. Humans are made of meat, but we like to forget that; the same way people sometimes make the mistake of forgetting they're around a wild animal.
My son-in-law worked at a wildlife rescue place where they had a friendly lion, it's not true that you don't get hurt playing with them and being affectionate, it's just that the people who do this are tough and don't care about a few bruises, scratches and cuts. It's not that bad from what he told me, they do restrain themselves from being brutal.
We had a cat back in November that kept coming to our back porch for about a week. It was covered in ticks and looked like it wasn't eating enough. So we looked for tags and a chip and couldn't find any. So we took the cat in and took care of it for about 6 months. The owner was finally found. The cat which we named Luna was back at home for about 3 weeks. And then she kept coming to our back porch wanting attention and wanting to come into our home. One morning it was thunderstorming and Luna was on our back porch. My wife let Luna in till the storm was over. Well the owner accused my wife of having Luna in our house for 3 nights because she said that the cat wouldn't come when she called for her. My wife told the owner that we let her in for a few mins during a thunderstorm. Well the owner threaten to call the sherrifs office. So I talk to the husband. And he said I can tell that you and your wife have a big heart but it is just a cat. It seems like to me that their cat would rather be with my wife and I then her actual owner.
It’s a bit of a sliding scale. Nearly all mammals are capable of thinking in basic concepts of family/pack/herd & parent as well as basic cause and effect. Meanwhile most species of fish and poultry birds run almost entirely on instinct gained through evolution. Then you have the extreme outliers like corvids that are able to learn how to operate simple mechanisms. Finally you have higher level primates like chimpanzees and humans who’ve achieved Sapience.
We all have that special someone in our lives whom we can never forget. Their voice, face, and acts are imbedded in us emotionally. It makes sense that animals are no different, as we are nothing but animals ourselves.
No one knows, but these people are the luckiest people on the planet. Gaining trust and love by these animals is the greatest gift... I'm so jealous and in love.
It’ll be okay. I’m sorry for your loss. There’s always a couple of pets that touch our hearts in a special and permanent way. The big hole in your heart will heal. You’ll be able to remember them with fondness and not be so sad eventually. Sometimes, it takes another animal to make it happen. A lot of people disagree, but sometimes you gotta find happiness again. It’s not “replacing” them.(to me) it’s more like…two animals healing eachother. You need help, and there’s an animal out there needing you. It’s a win/win. Blessings to you. Hope you feel better soon.

I have worked at multiple animal sanctuaries over the last ten years and have had amazing experiences and relationships with some of them. Most notably a tigress at an exotic cat sanctuary in the Dallas area. While working there I would play hide and seek with her. She would duck down behind a barrel and peer around the side at me and I would duck down behind the bench that was just outside her enclosure. Then she would spring out towards me and I would spring out towards her and she'd rub against the fence and chuff. I went back to visit after being gone for a year and the moment she saw me she ducked down behind her barrel and started playing with me. It was one of the greatest feelings I've ever had knowing that she remembered me and how we played together!!
I remember when I nursed this little sick chicken up to health, fed her garlic for infections, bread etc. After 2 weeks she was better, and one day the front door was open and the chicken walks in (I was on the couch) walks up to me and jumps to sit on my lap. I was in awe because in all the years I’ve had chickens none have done that. ❤ this video brought back some memories lol.

@@knox9739 no, it means most of mankind today acts in a detrimental manner to others, while rarely does an animal do the same to us. What the Elephant one does not mention; that man helped many elephants and when he passed, the elephants he helped actually showed up to his funeral and they come back yearly to pay respects to his grave around the same time he passed. Every year.
Oh really???
Elephants are really smart. They apparently have rituals for the dead (I havent been able to verify this so take it with a grain of salt)
I think you have the wrong person. There was only one elephant clip that I saw and the man is Darrick, from the Elephant Nature Park in Thailand. He is very much alive. He works with his wife Lek to rescue abused elephants. That clip was him after being away for over a year and Kham La, the female elephant, heard his voice and ran excitedly to him.

Hello Dear
How are you doing today?
😂😂😂😂😒😒
It's amazing how animals as wild as elephants, bears, and lions can form relationships like this with humans.

I love that the concept of a hug seems to exist in animals too. Like, they're obviously not attacking, or else they would be trying to bite or claw, but they were just holding. Maybe it's the idea of holding someone or something in your arms to protect it, and the security of a hug. Holding something close to keep it safe
There's nothing defensive about grabbing onto someone and not trying to attack them, and none of these behaviors seem to be anything other than appreciation and love. I don't want to jump to conclusions about their behavior and apply human concepts to it, but I really don't see another explanation. They obviously don't view them as threats, and aren't looking to attack. And THEY went to the humans, so they're obviously not forced and aren't looking to flee. They don't seem stressed by the hugs and don't feel trapped, otherwise they'd try to get away, not continue holding on

Animals can remember a person's kindness better than humans. People often forget who helped them and don't remember people’s kindness. Most of them take it for granted. Animals never forget!! This video makes me smile.. thanks for sharing ❤️
Excellent statement.
Animals know better than anyone how cruel the world can be
Animals also be violently fucking each other up in the wild.
It's all really cute until the chimp rips off your face and hands
@@SteveAbbottOfficial I didn't say they should be pets. "Wild" animals belong in the wild or under the care of trained professionals. You have to appreciate the strength and capabilities of ANY animal. Hence, trained professionals. Accidents happen, but when one side is the size of a small car or has claws that tear apart meat, even a tiny accident can cause big damage. Humans are made of meat, but we like to forget that; the same way people sometimes make the mistake of forgetting they're around a wild animal.
Most animals where mammals which we are mammals also
My son-in-law worked at a wildlife rescue place where they had a friendly lion, it's not true that you don't get hurt playing with them and being affectionate, it's just that the people who do this are tough and don't care about a few bruises, scratches and cuts. It's not that bad from what he told me, they do restrain themselves from being brutal.
wow it’s almost like they are intellectually developed enough to have emotions and bonds
from ducks to lizards, from wolves to lions, when man decides to be good with nature, he gains a friend for life
The important thing is that animals love you unconditionally, whether you are successful or not.

@@Manderenn it's definitely unfortunate that they wouldn't even consider the possibility of abuse or at least give credit for helping the cat out
@@Manderenn Many people should not be allowed to own an animal! Thanks for looking after the cat 👍👏🏴

As Kid that grew up on a farm full of birds and turkeys, Seeing the lady and duck reunite is Heartwarming cause ducks are not trusting.
I thought ducks just don't care lol
@@capnprice0673 It seems that way when there's trust issues, be it a duck or human.
We all have that special someone in our lives whom we can never forget. Their voice, face, and acts are imbedded in us emotionally. It makes sense that animals are no different, as we are nothing but animals ourselves.
Hello 👋
Animals are such beautiful creatures ! Sometimes I feel we don't deserve them 😢
No one knows, but these people are the luckiest people on the planet. Gaining trust and love by these animals is the greatest gift... I'm so jealous and in love.
I can’t stop crying. I lost my first dog who was my EVERYTHING. She was the first thing I truly truly loved.
i would change the word "thing" for "being" at least.
Hope you feel better soon.
i’m so so sorry for your lost, your dog is currently in a beautiful place looking after you 💟 its alright to cry, you and your dog are strong beings💪🏼💕hope you feel better soon, i bet your dog was so adorable and happy to be with you 🙏🏼💕💕
You will have a chance to love again.
A dog will die I don't care

That's beautiful story!
That's nice
Lovely.
So adorable, this is true friendship!
Omgg I’m crying so hard right now.I love this special bond between a human and an animal...you will always recognize this feeling
Just watching this makes me feel that humanity still exists as well as compassion
Christian the lion Recognizing his former owners was heart warming. You don’t see animals display that kind of behavior often with humans that’s why I love watching these videos ❤️
this shows that when all goes down and no one is there with you. Your dog will always have your back. I love animals
This just goes to show that love and affection really hits deep even for animals, and that they’re not as “dumb” as we make them out to be
Dumb can also mean “without the
power of speech”.
If someone asks what is love show them this and say this is what pure unconditional love is.
We humans don't deserve animals. Their love and loyalty even trumps their natural wild instincts.
Rarely can you find a human with that level of steadfast dedication to anyone other than themselves
Besides those who are too busy loving others
does that mean we don't deserve to live?
@@knox9739 no, it means most of mankind today acts in a detrimental manner to others, while rarely does an animal do the same to us.
Animals live by an instinctual code, whereas man has strayed from the principles that once made it decent and compassionate. The minority who do still hold those values are constantly having to rectify and clean up the messes the rest make of the world.
Oh ffs man, stop saying we all don’t deserve animals just because some dumb human treats them shit. Let’s all be better for them and teach the stupid fucks a lesson.
@@brentfisk4549 you have it backwards. The majority of people are compassionate and caring.
Love really transcend time and space. I'm crying so hard right now
The diversity in the different kinds of animals and wildlife makes this one of the absolute best I've ever seen in my 52 years thank you so much
8:16 I cried. After loosing my dog that I had since I was a child it makes me so happy to see other people reunite with they’re pets because I never got too.
I also lost my dog two years ago which I had since my childhood...still miss her many times so I can understand... Just recall all those good moments you had with your dog...it will put smile on your face and remember him/her as a good memory...
I've lost four dogs
the dog and the cow really got me in tears
The man hit by tornado(red tshirt) with his dog was the best part. He chose life(the dog) over perishables (materials). Life knows to connect irrespective of species. This video proves it. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Careful he might look sweet in the video but red shirt is a dangerous man
@@lance7570 Well, we are capable of much more. Didn't we invent something to wipe life out of this planet? We are capable of rearing dinosaurs for meat sir in the future may be. We ate each other a few centuries back, didn we? Whether we are nature's best creation or the worst shall be answered by time. We humans are capable of both.
I just commented on the video, don't know who he is. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Ofc
@@bernhardsonn7758 yup
@@Humveeitis you sound like a sage
everyone who cares for animals and loves them like their own family members deserves the utmost respect 💛
Let’s all take a minute to realize how gentle these animals are being cause they could also accidentally hurt you
Especially the penguin. "Madagascar" showed their true nature, behind the cute-ness.
geese are vicious, I see a goose in a cage and my knees go jelly.. see it runnong like that I would shit my pants
@@taraclarissa enguins are even more dangerous, they can drive cars, make tools to kill you if you axcodentaly see them flying
It’s beautiful how compassionate humans can be.
When I see wild animals showing deep affection toward humans it tears me up. Just beautiful.
If I'm ever in an airport or public place and I see one of these reunions, I'm starting a standing ovation
please don't. you'll just encourage every attention seeker to start doing it nonstop where it loses it's significance
