It takes such a special and dedicated type of person to have so many animals and give each one love and attention, these people are truly angels them and their adorable pets.
I befriended a baby emu in my poultry class. It was heartwarming for me, and I miss him. He grew too big to go to my school which was sad for me to hear. This video reminded me of that experience, and I loved the bond the owner shared with the emu.
The hopping and rolling and flailing 😂😂😂😂 I could watch him all day! What a Love he is! And what a beautiful place to call home, with the dogs and the roos and the chickens... who probably keep their distance. ❤️❤️❤️
When i was a kid my baby sitter owned a massive farm. We feed the emu mid day with corn in old coffe cans. See you would walk to the center of the field which was massive. Long story short the first time i was asked to feed them i went out started to throw corn and they were not having it they wanted the whole can. So they chased me they were full sized it was like being chased by valasraptor off jurassic park😄. That was my first experience with them lol.

Yes & no. They can be kept by people fairly easily if you have the room & hand raise them. Lookup White House on the Hill RUclips channel. They had 2 eggs but only one hatched. So they raised Bamboo in the house with their kids & he's one of the friendliest birds ever. You still need precautions though because they peck from curiosity a lot. It's amazing how much more interactive Bamboo is with the family compared to the girls that next hatched. Watching him grow up running with their boys was really fun. I especially liked the sock diapers.
