    Love your videos but take a look at knotted threads that looks at binding for bags it’s brilliant for reducing bulk and when you come to end slice off a bit so it graduates in

    • @NotchesSewing
      @NotchesSewing  2 месяца назад +2

      Thank you so much. Yes graduating edge is great to reduce bulk. Please have a look at my other video for the sides and bottom binding finish that’s on angle. The side edge has similar method. Cheers😊 ruclips.net/video/JjscmzKL2TM/видео.html

    I have an attachment for my sewing making that folds the strip of fabric to make binding as you sew. Do you know how to start and finish the ends when using this type of binding attachment?
    Hugs, Diane

    • @NotchesSewing
      @NotchesSewing  2 месяца назад +1

      Is it on a domestic machine? Or do you mean it is a swing away. TBH I never use the attachments.

    • @frogandfudge
      @frogandfudge 2 месяца назад

      @@NotchesSewing It's a domestic machine. I should probably just try it out and see if I can use your tutorials for starting and stopping neatly. I do love the way you explain everything, without being patronising.
      ❤️

    • @NotchesSewing
      @NotchesSewing  2 месяца назад +1

      I will have to test out that attachment as I am guessing they are best used when you have long lengths to edge. Also probably can’t pass bulky layers through it. Will try to do a video on it if I figure it out. Thanks for watching.😊
