Whoa, I can only imagine the giant burden that the writing team must have dealt with during the development of Ragnarök. Not only are they going to introduce new characters and story arcs to the journey but they are also responsible for answering important and unavoidable questions that were asked in the 2018 game. (How kratos survived suicide in the end of gow 3, how he arrived in norse lands, how he met Faye, who is Faye, how she died, who blew the horn, what happens if you step inside Helheim mist, what about the Hraevelgr, will Atreus fully become Loki the evil god of mischief, will Kratos tell his son about his service to Ares and killing of his wife and daughter Caliope, etc....) So many questions...

    • @SinfulofSauce
      @SinfulofSauce Год назад +9

Some of these questions are already answered if you look around.
      • Kratos survived because the Gods cursed him to forever walk the Earth.
      • Kratos briefly wandered around Egypt, met Thoth, and took a boat to Scandinavia. He also met Shovel Knight (Confirmed Canon) and the area they fight in is near Scandinavia's snowy mountains.
      • Laufey (Faye) is a Jotun giantess warrior. She had Foresight and knew she would meet Kratos in due time. When they met, they fought each other, but stopped since they were both tired of fighting at that point.
Faye's death is still a mystery. We don't know who blew the horn. Hel tortures you with your past (Areus killing Modi. Areus seeing Kratos kill Zeus etc). Hraevelgr will most likely become a boss in Ragnarök since it originally was intended to be a boss in GOW4. No, he won't. Because Kratos will make sure he won't become who he was in GOW 2 & 3. Eventually, his past will be on full display to Areus.

Also, the Blade of Olympus was powered by the godly powers Kratos once had (Zeus tells him to do this in GOW2) and as we've seen time and time again throughout the franchise, he heals quickly and it may have ties to his lineage being a demi-god as one of Zeus' many sons. I have a theory about the blades of choas still being bound to Kratos. When Kratos opened Pandora's box, absorbed the hope, and unleashed the evils on the Greek gods, Athena started to regret helping Kratos kill Ares. So when Kratos stabbed himself with the Blade of Olympus and keeping Athena from obtaining the hope, she made the Blades of Chaos bound to him forever to remind him that no matter what he does, he will always be a monster and Ares' abomination.
So the Blades of Chaos are a symbol of Kratos's shameful pride, and the endless death and suffering he brings to everyone.

  • @dafaadhamrizqi8028

I have a theory for the blades of chaos
The blade of chaos is the weapon that are bound to kratos soul, so no matter what he did to get rid of the blades it always find it ways to return to him. The blades of athena however was blades gifted by athena to kratos when kratos still work for the olympus gods, but as he start the conquest to end them in the third game the blades of athena change colour from its normal blue from the second game to red when the third game start, so i assume it signifies kratos betrayal to the olympus gods as the blades of athena was supposed to be used to serve the olympus gods not kill them.
In third game right after kratos fall to hell he met athena and athena stated that the blades of athena has no more purpose and change it to be the blades of exile to serve kratos better at his conquest in killing the olympus gods. By the end of the third game when kratos about to beat the shit out of zeus he tosses his blades aside and punch the living hell out off zues.
So i assume that blades of athena IS blades of fury and since kratos didnt have it in the 2018 game the blades might have been left behind on top of mount of olympus.
But that just my thoery, i came up with it by the things that i see from the god of war games, i might be wrong

    did that one survive?
considering it's kratos i'd assume yes
what if their are multiverses like there's a timeline where kratos died at the hands of zeus cause when he went back in time he left that timeline behind by creating a new one the moment he went back to obtain the blade of olympus and kill zeus
timeline 1 kratos is dead which means loki is born a different way with like how it is in the original myth
which would explain how the serpent is in gow4
