I found the Poseidon kill tough to watch because it was in 1st person and Kratos gauged out your eyes so u couldn't see a thing

Been ten years since I played God of War 3, but the only death in the entire series to bother me was Poseidon’s Princess. Kratos goes through hordes and hordes of innocent people, even in past games, but I dunno why this felt too much for me. Guess it was her poor state before that bothered me so much.

I would replace the ogre finishing move with the Wulver one instead or even the cyclops eye finisher from God of War III.

I'd say the Wulvers were the only deaths in GoW2018 that could be considered brutal honestly. Except for maybe the trolls, but they got overused.
The Helios death is the one that truly stuck with me. Gruesome.
God of War 3 has one brutal kill after another. For me, the top is Helios, then Hercules.
Kratos stabbing himself with that bigass blade still bothers me. Oh God.
For me, Magni and Baldr’s death hit more, because we see reactions for them. Think about it, Zeus had no reaction to Poseidon and Hades dying. But, when the Norse gods are die, we here Modi quiver in fear and get angry, and Freyja’s wails are downright haunting. That’s what makes it more powerful then any of the other. Kills

It’s a tied between Hercules and Kronos. The whole caving Herc face is truly badass and brutal, but the Kronos boss fight is truly disgusting and badass.
I love that you made a video on this game! God of war is my personal top favorite series and must agree that Hercules was a pretty brutal death hands down but so is pretty much every fatality Kratos does. You know in every game there will be some type of intense fate at some point and time.

The Wulver execution is so underrated, Kratos literally grabs the lower jaw and rips the whole front skin from mouth to torso 🤢
For me it was Helios. I remember I was shocked when I saw that playing the game 10 years ago. I still remember it.

Ever thought of doing a list looking through at the list of characters or people killed by Kratos and Atreus one or another that did not need to die. Such as the ship Captain, Posidon's Princess, Pandora, Greece, and possibly Baldur and Modi, to name a few.
I don’t think Modi is dead just weak and in hiding from Thor as he will probably be killed by him from his failure. I think he will team up with Kratos to kill Thor as revenge.
That would be ironic, seeing as how Kratos traumatized him by overpowering him and "killing" him. Not a likely scenario I think would happen..
My favourite death was mount olimpus which was a titan it self named oblivios who was killed by the titan of dread goalius using his adapted armour and one punched the thing to picecs and killing the titan by stabbing the volcanic core shaped as a heart

@@austinmasoni3577 _Personally I do not know who I want to kill Thor but it probably should end differently than GOW3 as where Zeus was the last god standing Thor should be the final fight. Get what I mean as oppose to another final king of gods boss, a satisfying, brutal ending with the prince of aesir. The one and only god worse than Asgard's king._

One of my favorites that isn't on the list is when you get to Gut ( Disembowel) the Centaurs in GOW 3! Brutal but very Satisfying! 😉 Yeah I know I sound slightly Disturbed.

I looked it up and apparently it was a pre order bonus so you can't get it anymore but I'm hoping that someone proves me wrong!!
@Bezdd Dakota you can get it if you beat the game on the Give Me God of War difficulty level, I think. You get 4 shields if you do it on NG+.

Poseidon was the most unjustified
He helped Kratos throughout the games, had little beef with him, and was just following orders
well, there is the Ghost of Sparta plot. Since there, both had reasons to hate each other.
The GOW2018 kills aren’t brutal at all, the most brutal it gets is Magninand the dragon but that’s completely intentional
I really hope that over the course of the next game or 2 games the developers give us a way to finally get rid of athena once and for all
Nah Athena will always stay in his head. He already killed Athena. I think he was battling Zeus in god of war 2 and Athena jumped in between Zeus and kratos and kratos accidentally killed Athena. Santa Monica needs a way to remind Kratos past and what better way than Athena talking to him. I liked that part if you have played previous god of wars you would like that too.
I'd of put the wolven from 2018 as ripping their jaw off, peeling away the chest skin is metal AF

Challenging Kratos to a fight is the biggest mistake everyone could have done in their entire life, be it humans or gods.

Helios did had a major play in God of War. He referenced chains of Olympus where Persephone released Atlas to kidnap Helios so they could destroy the pillar that holds the world.
And technically we always see him when it is daytime in any GOW game from the greek saga
