- Welcome to MojoPlays, and today we’re proving size matters by counting down our picks for the 10 Biggest Bosses in the God of War Series. For this list, we’ll be looking at the largest enemies Kratos has ever taken down in the God of War games. Our list includes Hydra King “God of War” (2005), The Kraken “God of War II” (2007), Poseidon God of War III” (2010), Hraezlyr God of War” (2018) and more! One of the things I love about the God of war games their first bosses would be considered final bosses in different games

One similar recurring theme I like in games I when the bosses you encounter are encountered again as average bosses. It shows that your character and your skills are improving even if the bosses themselves stay the same.
This happens in games like:
Enslaved OTTW
Sekiro SDT
Dark Souls
And many many more. I just cant recall them right now.
Same with bloodborne
Just like tutorial Dark Soul boss, would be secret hardcore boss in GoW
Fantastic games even now all the ps2 ones even the psp ones are worth a play through and r even better than the modern ones
In terms of pure scale I don’t think the GOW series will ever have another boss that can top Cronos.

I love the Cronos fight because almost the entirety of the first game is on the back of the Titan.
Do you know how big Cronos is? 1,600 ft tall.

The colossus of Rhodes is definitely one way to open up the 2nd game. Just a great way to start of the game in general I feel. It’s perhaps almost my favourite game in the whole series!

There were a few left out that were definitely bigger than Hercules. The GoW3 scorpion, Basilisk from Chains of Olympus and Clotho from GoW2 (though you probably left her out intentionally due to... well... I don't know how you would even go about censoring something like that lol)

For me the hardest part was not a boss but the blade wheel just before u get out of the underworld in god of war
The scene in which hraezler falls on kratos gave me goosebumps full of excitement.
Dude...when I heard the voice of Kevin Sorbo for the first time in GOW3, chills ran through my entire body.
Some of the biggest bosses I've ever fought include Marvel Ultimate Alliance's Galactus, Iron Man 2's Ultimo, Sonic Unleashed's Dark Gaia, Transformers Fall of Cybertron's Bruticus, Transformers War For Cybertron's Omega Supreme and Trypticon, The bosses of Bayonetta 2, Kefka tower from Final Fantasy, Grima from Fire Emblem Awakening and some I can't remember

@Erik Garcia Hercules is bigger than Zeus! 🙄 Yeah surprised they didn't mention Scylla or Thanatos from Ghost or Sparta because they were pretty Big!
@@bradleymcavoy3432 The reason Zeus is one of the biggest is because we fought him as his giant form in GOW 2, therefore the reason I also included Ares, Alecto and Poseidon they all transformed into something huge.

We literally killed our family tree and dare I saying killing granddad cronos was top tier
The final boss from ascension is also pretty big
Idk why Hercules was on the list hades from the same game was bigger than he was.
I thought the same thing. Especially the final phase before Kratos took his soul.
There are so many other huge bosses like the Scorpion from God of War 3 and the obese Sister of Fate Clotho from God of War 2.

Kratos wasn't just full of rage and a thirst revenge in his fight against Ares. He was also filled with guilt, and the hope he released from Pandoras box
Hades deserves top 9
The list would be mostly gods and titans if you put all the big ones. There's Zeus, Aries, Hades, Posieden, Chronos, Atlas and Gaia. They probably wanted more variety.

Tc Carson played kratos from the beginning of all 6 God of war GAME'S i feel sorry for Tc Carson that was NOT Right what they did to him was NOT Right at all

Kratos had no beef with Hercules and didn't wish to fight him. But the ghost of Sparta had to defeat his half brother and gained his nemean cestus.
I’ve beaten Hercules, Cronos, the Kraken, Hades, Ares, Pandora’s Guardian
So years ago you used to go into game stores and you'd get e demo disc for a new game from time to time. Well I walked into a gamestop one day left with this demo disc for some new game coming soon. Didn't play it right away just sat there till on night I put in my playstation and as I played through I was getting more and more hype then I got to the the hydra king. It roared! I was like 'holy sh*t!' then the demo ended. I was sold! I played that demo many times and have played every God of War on every system (except mobile phone and text base game)!
I actually haven’t replayed the god of war games as many times as some of my other favourite PlayStation franchises ever, but I do replay almost all of them near the end of last before Christmas. I, II, ascension, chains of Olympus and ghost of Sparta in there order for ps3. I think I’ve already replayed 3 and the 2018 game enough times for now.

The biggest boss I’ve ever faced in a video game was the Groundshaker heartless from Kingdom Hearts 2/2 Final Mix
In that case you're missing it. In Shadow of the Colossus all you fight are giants.

Hades was much bigger than Hercules. There were quite a few bigger than him, even Hephaestus. Or Alecto's true form in Ascension. The Basalisk is another. There were do many to pick from

@abu Morgan It was called the Basilisk and I suppose it's kind of a Dragon but it's closer to a True Lizard. ( Or Serpent with Legs! 🙄)

I remember fighting that last valkyrie she was a total pain in the ass😡 that's one of the reasons I bought extra controllers 🤣 too make it worse I beat her with the weakest armor and on the highest difficulty also beat her on new game plus just too get the platinum completion (100%) I still hate that portion of the game.

@Dana Saeed Well Chronologically it's not 4 it GOW 7! if Ascension is Canon but if not the GOW 2018 is GOW 6! 🙄 So GOW 2018 shouldn't be called GOW 4!

@Dana Saeed You are sorely mistaken Chronologically Ghost of Sparta takes place after the events of GOW 1 and GOW 2! Like I said Sony Santa Monica hasn't confirmed if Ascension is Canon but COO and GOS Are! Kratos killed Persephone in COO and her coffin is in GOW 3! Hades chastises/scorns Kratos for killing his "Beloved". So technically, Chronologically GOW 2018 is GOW 6 or 7 ( only if Ascension is Canon! which it's probably not.)
