Would love to see a list for worst bosses in fromsoftware games as they are known for the Boss fights and the games themselves are like a boss rush. That would make sense 'coz GOW series has always been story driven so their fights are more of an event to progress the narrative hence most of the players don't complain about it.
What an awful list for an amazing series of games. The only one I would agree with is the Persian king. Bosses such as Hermes Helios and Icarus I wouldn’t even consider as bosses just gods standing in Kratos’ way. Yes they are gods yes they should of put up more of a fight but I like the idea that Kratos can overpower some of the “weaker” gods quite easily.
If there is anything good about ascension it is the bosses, there are only 3, and each is more epic than the other one, watch mojo's opinion doesn't matter
Theseus is super hard in Titan mode. It took me forever to kill him. Those ice attack man. Wht make it super difficult is when u busy enough to dodge 2 bulls attack, suddenly those ice attack came on our foot. this move guarantee 1HKO. Ouch
God, I was looking for this inevitable comment. I full heartedly agree. It's personally the fact that Theseus comes in as early as he does, which entails your magic meter being so damn tiny during the fight, thus leaving you to farm blue orbs from the minotaurs just to get like 5 shots with each volley. What a dragged out fight. :/

10:31 When I first played the game, I actually thought that was Daedalus. It made more sense in my head. The inventor lost it after Icarus' death and tried to get an audience with the Sisters of Fate to bring the kid back, also it explained his decrepit state and old appearance.
Pollux and Castor were a great boss, the only shoddy boss in Ascension was the final fight against Alecto. The rest of the bosses in Ascension were great
The problem with Ascension was that it was the third prequel of the series which made the story irrelevant, and also how they marketed the multiplayer part that nobody asked for. But gameplay was super fun and I believe combat was the most polished out of the first 6 games. THe giant mechanical serpent was a very clever stage and looked amazing.

10:31 When I first played GOW 2 I thought that was Daedalus. It made more sense in my head. Think about it, he lost his head after seeing Icarus die, blamed himself for it, and tried to get an audience with the Sisters of Fate to get him back. It would explain why he looked so decrepit and old. Maybe that was the original plan and then the developers backed down because Icarus is the most popular of the two.
The elf King was a tough one if you played it on the "give me a challenge" (hard) mode. And most of these bosses you complained about weren't bad, maybe you just expected too much. Maybe try playing every game on hard difficulty level, I think that would make it more challenging for you.
The bridge keeper in GoW 2018 was actually good cause after fighting multiple trolls that were the same exact boss fight, fighting another with a unique ability felt good and every troll should have something that made it more unique like the valkyries did
Yeah, no. No way GOW II bosses are worse than the GOW 2018 ones. Those were actually fun and different, and they didnt last enough for the player to get tired of them, unlike troll, red troll, troll number 2, troll shiny etc....
@@kyellverdonschot9922 but there are 13 of those trolls throughout the game and not enough variety in the actual bosses or even the mini bosses. The Breeders aren't as common and there is plenty of variety in the mini boss department in the originals outside of the Breeders.
@@landonnuckols5103 Yeah and the repeat of Trolls is because of budget and time restrictions. The big bird would have been the Helheim boss but they didn’t have the money or time
Theseus, boring?? Are you sure about that? Maybe on lower difficulty, but he was one of the most challenging bosses in GoW2 if you're playing on Titan mode.
Well you see, titan mode in GOW II is not playable unless you've finished the game in the modes mortal, spartan and God. So if you're new and plays in these modes, Theseus is a bit of a pushover.
My dad and I have a super strained relationship... Unfortunately we're not very close. But when I would play God Of War... My dad would come sit on his lazy boy and just watch as I annihilated anyone w Kratos. This was us bonding. Thank you Santa Monica
I actually liked most of these, also the Hermes incident was not a fight it was a slaughter. How does any of that make you think it’s a fight? Kratos just chases the lazy coward until he gets injured and finishes him off. And Helios? Kratos literally shoots his horses, get gets squished by a titan, and then kratos rips his head off. Not even a boss fight lol.
RW:i remember in one of the comments during this boss fight with all the gods " Kratos wouldve spared the lives of the gods ,if only they would stop talking ".😐
They may not be up to snuff like Hades, or even Zeus, but when you are making your way through thousands of years worth of myth, you are bound to find some arrogant a-holes who need a severe reality check. Even Gods can bite off more than they can chew, and it is the destiny of Kratos to make sure they choke on it!
I feel the dark elf king deserves respect he was hard as in some cases you need to properly time your attacks and not button mash as that simply lets him use his parry moves if you go in gun s blazing and mindlessly attack him but overall he wasn’t as good as it’s a similar logic that applies to the dark elf king.
Dark elf king was probably the most annoying boss fight. That being said, he was a good fight too, because he was hard and challenging. I say annoying because lets be honest, elves in GoW suck
There is one moment of the Hermes fight that gives me a chuckle - when Hermes says "Today, you may defeat me", Kratos' gaze (and the camera) focus on the god's nice-looking footwear...at which point he "de-feets" the snarky SOB.
I woudnt nessessarily call all of them Bosses. Some are just characters that we strip them of their power/weapons. Its also nice that not all powers we obtain come from long boss fights. Why should Ikaros be a boss fight. He was just a dude who had waxed wings. Or Helios, we get his head and the info that theres a type of shield we cant destroy at will at the time, that was the point of the encounter. Not everyone should be a powerful boss fight.
