My grandmother taught me how to do a similar stitch when I was about ten. I love that the hills and valleys are deep in this pattern. I will remember my grandmother with every stitch!! Thanks, Crystal!! 💜💜💜
do you think i could make a table runner with this stitch using a number 2 yarn? ( i have a bag filled with nr 2 white cotton) and i am wondering if i a tablerunner with this stich would be any good? just a long one but not a wide one.. i have only crocheta little,made 3 hats and tried some diffrent stitches from this channel but i liked this stitch..hugs from norway
@@sivanitaguvaag2183sure why not! The only thing to keep in mind for this pattern is that there is some slight texture just as krystal says there is some puffing out... However since you have a tonne of yarn why not make a curtain, it doesn't have to be a big piece, just make as wide as a small window you have in your home and using a wooden dowl hang it half way down the window frame... I think that would be super cute and makes me think of vintage country cottage vibes ❤

What a very beautiful stitch. Crystal, I can't tell you how much I appreciate you telling us that this will shrink in 2-3 inches. I have started and restarted projects multiple times because it did not turn out as wide as I intended. I suppose as I learn more, and practice more, I will just kind of know those things. I really am glad though that you stated it so I can use that for future reference. TFS

Thank you so much for making this video. I tried a similar pattern and the edges weren't coming out nice at all. Your method is PERFECT. I'm doing up 8 balls in Red Heart "Sutherland" which is a striped yarn. I'm using an I hook. It was just the turning part I was having trouble with. Seriously happy you made this demo for all of us!!!
