I made one once that was similar to this but it had more spaces so it was pretty lacey. This one looks nice and light, but still warm. I am looking forward to making this! Love the edges!! Excellent video.
Thank you!! Thank you!! So much Robin for this stitch and great simple directions I have been looking for this forever it is an old pattern my grandma used it all the time it was her favorite Thanks again and keep doing what your doing your great!!❤❤😀
You, in my opinion, are a “top-notch” RUclipsr; for crochet, one of the best. Your verbal pace and camera-work always result in an excellent learning tool; especially for visual-learners, like myself. For future reference for myself, I document a lot of your videos. I mostly crochet blankets for charity-donation: I’ll be trying this pattern soon. Please continue the “good” work.
I absolutely agree! I always recommend Robin to my family and friends who wants to learn how to crochet! She explains things so well and clearly. The camera angles are precise that I know exactly where to insert the hook, how many loops to pull through or yarn over. Keep up the excellent work! 💖
Being a beginner at crochet, it is always a pleasure to look at your videos ! Not only your pattern looks great but your explanations are so easy to follow that it makes me look like a pro ! Thank you !
Hi Robin, thank you so much for this pattern. I made this blanket with a very fine (silly sock) yarn mixed with a thicker off-white yarn. This stitch was perfect to show off the colour change and crochet up really quickly I'm delighted, and wanted to thank you for your RUclips videos, I'd be lost without you at this stage. This blanket has helped me take my mind off the very sad process of grieving for my mother who died mid December 2022. Her thing was knitting, my thing is crochet. She died peacefully whilst knitting with the silly sock yarn. This project was comforting, easy to do whilst my mind was elsewhere. I can highly recommend this stitch to anybody especially with thicker yarn or to use two threads like I did, who wants to just crochet to forget the pain and make a forever keepsake of the loving person who was always there in my life💔
I'm sohappy to have come across you today Robin , I just love your crocheting video's but I keep forgetting where you are it's a bit of old age really ill keep trying. Thank you you are the best.
It’s 2023, just found this and it’s going on my hook right now. Not complicated like a lot of chevrons. Looking forward to new content. Hope your summer is going well. Thanks!
Yes ma'am, thank you!! I have tried so many ripple tutorials (can't read patterns)and have failed. Today i finished the blanket, with straight edges. And it only took a week as its a 6 foot throw. Great video and instructions.
Thank you so much Robin. I'm on row 4 and I'm flying through it, you're right, once the initial rows are set up it's so quickly done. Thank you so much I'm doing a blanket xxxxx💯❤️ 🧶🧶🤩😍
Thanks thanks thanks after watching many videos how to make the Chevron stitch finally you helped me..... I am making my first Chevron blanket.... Blessings ❤️❤️💕😊❤️❤️💕❤️💕❤️
I have always wanted to do a chevron stitch but didn’t understand the pattern of two together. This is so much easier to understand and do!!!! I will be doing this now. Thanks so much
The decreases of some chevrons can easily throw you off - this one is so easy, I don't like it if a stitch makes your brain have to work hard - I just want to get on and crochet!
Love this Peephole stitch. I have used this stitch with a thinner yarn to make prayer shawls. It works up really well with the ombre yarns, no need to change yarns for a color change.💗💗 Thank you for sharing a grea video.
I like to run through the comment section and see how others are doing before I jump in. I've learned rather quickly that it's really not necessary with your videos. Thank you, and thank your upbringing for being who you are. So appreciated! This will be a bring-home blankie for my second grandson. He will be here in September, right around his big brother's first birthday!😮😊❤

Thank you so much for this incredibly helpful crochet tutorial! Your clear and detailed instructions made following this pattern a breeze. I've struggled with similar projects in the past, but your video really broke everything down perfectly. I eagerly await the results since I am making a blanket for a friend, but I feel confident now, thanks to you. I can't wait to see more from your channel!

Hi, I've started my Peephole Chevron today and I am enjoying it didnt take me long to learn it. I've done loads of other stuff as well. You are very clear in your instructions. Thank you from Lesley . Sunderland England.😀
Thank you Robin, I was looking for a pretty and simple chevron pattern. I need to make a blanket for a queen size bed , never made anything that big before. This will be my first time doing this stitch. Thank you so very much, from Canada
Years ago I made an afghan with a chevron stitch that my aunt taught me how to do, but more recently I did a grey/mustard striped scarf that I really enjoyed. Thanks for all the wonderful videos. I really like your color combinations.
Currently making a very pretty floaty summer scarf in some light and floaty 3-ply with this stitch. Set up needed a bit of patience, but definitely worth it.
Just completed an afghan in this pattern. Used Super Saver in Buff, White, Medium Purple, Aruba Sea and Perfect Rose. Very easy pattern to follow. Great tutorial. Very clear. This is going to Project Linus. Can't wait to make more:)
It looks beautiful; the colours appear glittery. I am just finishing another chevron blanket, but I may make this one too, as long as I find suitable yarn. Thank you for showing us the pattern.
Hi Mary, they do!😃 You can use any yarn you fancy but the blanket shown in intro uses Scheepjes Stonewashed & Riverwashed with a 4mm Hook. In the tutorial I used Stylecraft Chunky with a 6mm Hook.🧶
Hi Robin I have revisited this video to make a throw for my friends birthday I was inspired to do it when she sent me a photo of her newly painted living room in sage green and I knew I had the very same colour about 700 gm of fine 4ply yarn and I wanted a light and Lacy pattern and also an easy one row repeat so here I am started it today iv done a starting chain of 292 and am on the fourth row already , I have until June to finish it so should be ok 🤞🏻😂thank you for your lovely easy to follow video Robin 👏🏻Amanda xx💞
