Since the magazine was busted I took it apart and noticed how small the transfer port on the plunger is. Bough a fresh magazine and opened the port and the valve an poppet. Was getting over 600 FPS with modded magazines on both the M3A! and the MP 40. Only one mag per fill. But hit quite a bit harder. My chronograph confirmed over 600 fps with modded mags. If I were to do it again, I would use a steel barrel. The ones that are stock are plastic or some type of composite.

I don't have enough experience with WW2 weapons to know immediately if this is a BB gun or if it's real. From first glance I wouldn't hesitate to respond with deadly force if I was subjected to a suprise of a threat.

Yup, Gamo lead BB's feed, but only at the half mag mark. They will jam if you fill it. Maybe you could "wash them" like we do with PCP airguns. I had a blast with this gun and the MP40 Umarex makes.
