    I know that this is nothing new but its the first time I tried a flat twist so its a new revelation to me. Yes I know I'm late, blah blah blah... just sharing my experience. lol

    • @deez596
      @deez596 10 лет назад

      okay this came out BEAUTIFUL!! and you said your first twist out but in your video you mention a regular twist out..whatchu mean?? lol ...i just subbed so i'll go back and watch your other vids for answers. oh btw what do u think of the sheamoisture coconut & hibiscus line? I use the curl enhancing smoothie AND curling gel souffle to set the flat twist, the souffle is not great by itself, very sticky. my style lasts for almost a week before re-twist

    • @LifeOnLahLahLand
      @LifeOnLahLahLand  10 лет назад

      wow! I haven't tried the sheamoisture & hibiscus line yet. It may sound weird but I'm waiting for the hype to calm down lol. When I say regular two stand twist I mean the ones that are not cornrowed to your head, you know the ones that hang loose (am I making sense). Please correct me if they have different names. thank you for watching and for subbing. xx

    Very cute! Thanks for the video! For the dryness, try flax gel. You can just make it with 2 TB flax seeds and a cup of water and boil it until desired thickness. Just strain it out with cheese cloth and refrigerate it for 1-2 weeks. I use my flax gel just as a nightly moisturizer, and I make mine somewhat runny for this reason. Your hair looks great!

    Looks simply amazing! If really pressed for time...2 braids or twist down each side works too.

    Love this and love your voice/accent. I'm going to try this tonight, hopefully this is the one that works for my hair because I'm seriously tired of cyber stalking every natural hair twist out video! :)

    I tried a flat two strand twist out this weekend before seeing this. Just randomly as I didn't think it would work, I only ever cornrow my hair in two for everyday or pony tail just to change it up. Well I must say I surprised myself, my curls were poppin', my hair black (yes there is some grey..lol) and glossy that I was complemented on it whilst out by a young man💞
    Yes it takes a little time and I did get myself in a bit of a tangle as my hair is thick, though not as thick as yours which is gorg btw, that said it's nice to be able to explore other style options I only wish I could be more creative, but my you tube family keep me going so I will continue to watch all with a keen interest.

    • @LifeOnLahLahLand
      @LifeOnLahLahLand  10 лет назад

      gemqueen1 its great when you surprise yourself! nothing wrong with grey, I think it looks great with natural hair. Most days I don't get time to be creative with my hair, but I try every now and then. In my next video you'll see that. thanks for watching. xx

    I have 4C hair because I can barely get a comb through it and my shrinkage is 90% when I see hair like yours its so hard to believe your hair is 4C the texture is completely different from mine. So I'm convinced that if your hair is 4C then mine is 5E.

    • @LifeOnLahLahLand

    i actually find flat twisting in smaller sections faster, with big sections, its just too much hair to handle for me and a lot of hair gets caught in the wrong section which makes for a longer takedown session and less definition

      +Kasumichick2772 Honestly, I would say stop thinking about it and possible try some protective styles for a while so that you are not manipulating your hair so much allowing it time and space to grow.
