***Message from India*** If you're familiar with our channel, you know that we shout out who and where we get our inspiration from (especially Toni, check her faux updo videos). This style is something my sister has been doing own her own for a months now, and it has been brought to our attention that another You Tuber did it months ago as well. We never saw that video and if that would have been where she drew inspiration, she would have stated that in the video, but that is not the case. Please don't start drama where there is none. Lots of You Tubers do similar things and discover similar techniques on their own by playing with their hair. I'm all for showing love, giving credit, and shout outs, but that's not the case for this style and video.
Well she said to comment if it was something new. So people told her it wasn't. Yolanda has been doing it for over a year. I view it more as people following instructions. On another note, did yall check her out yet? This would be a prime opportunity to support a kinkier naturalista. ;-)
shayla1986 That is not why I left my comment. I left it because people accused her for copying and told her to give credit and she started doing this on her own. There's a difference in saying I learned this technique from another blogger, and saying you're copying and need to give credit. Like I said, we give credit when we are inspired by others. I am familiar with Yolanda and her adorable girls, but Toni is not. We don't watch the same vloggers. Even though I've seen some of her videos, I hadn't come across the one with knots on the ends. And as far as checking out kinkier textures, we watch a ton of women with various textures, but her texture is no kinkier than Toni's, so I'm not sure why that's relevant. ~ India
Perfect perfect perfect. You taught me how to not have a twist out with pointy ends and how to do it after first day. It took a minute to get the knot down but you have helped me immensely. I was thinking it wasn't laying in style like yours and it wasn't fluffed enough but the compliments were thumbs up. So I know I am on the right track. Thanks so much
I started doing this and it has been so easy to maintain my hair. I bigged chopped my hair May 2015 so I am a newbie to this whole natural thing (lol) and up until recently I have been struggling with a routine, this video has helped me in so many ways. My hair is soft, super defined, I don't have to manipulate my hair, as I have a tendency to always have my fingers in my curls, not the case with this technique. Thanks so much for this video. Love the channel.
Smh. Some people love drama. I loooooovvvveee Toni's hair. It is BEAUTIFUL !!!!! Period. I do a similar method but use rods on the ends. It's great to see other ways n techniques. Keep the great videos. Love you ladies.
I just started my natural journey and I was just about to give up BC I am in the stage between long natural hair and short and I don't like doing my hair not an ia hair genius, but watching this made me rethink giving in... I will be tagging you guys in my picture on Facebook once I do the style... Love it and the way you explained it. #allnatural
Oh how I love, love, love this! I recently went natural and just tried this twist out regimen. The only thing I did different was use mini flexi rods,to put the kink to my ends. They are a tad bit thin,so I didn't want to chance knotting them but I was still able to achieve the same look. Thank you for the inspiration!
Thank you so much. I was looking for a good twist out maintenance video. Other people doing moisturize their hair at night and that made me super nervous lol. I can't think of going 3 days maintaining a twist out and it not being moisturized! Thanks again!
So I tried this method and.....OMG This is thee best twist out ever! I ABSOLUTELY love it!!!! This will be my new regimen going forward! Thanks so much Sistas! ❤️
The results are beautiful. But I still thought it looked good that evening and would have been happy to see you Rock it in the morning! Longhairdontcare was one of the founders of the you tube hair community & if you look at her videos it's hard to find one where her hair wasn't Poofy! Frizzy! Puffy! At least by the standards by some videos today. But I have yet to see a more Gorgeous head of hair. It wasn't unkempt but it was allowed to be Natural hair. And natural hair GROWS! And it Loves to do it :D And waking up you never know what will be under the bonnet lol! But some of the best hairstyles have come when I Let Go and let my hair do it's thing. And doing your hair every night is a lot of manipulation on the most fragile hair type & it's a LOT of work! Natural is for the long haul. Do you really want to do your hair every night Every time it's in a twistout, braidout. etc.?? Of course this is just my thoughts. Everyone can do whatever they want with THEIR Hair. But it's just I feel it's become this unwritten Rule that your twistout Has to be without frizz for it to be acceptable. And I say NATURAL Hair IS FRIZZ, POOF, PUFF, & SHRINKAGE!!
Just tried this on my hair, hope it works for me! Never thought to knot ends, by hair never works with the twist at the end method. Thanks for this video.
I have finally found someone with the same hair texture as mine. I loved the video & it was very informative. I can't wait to practice knotting the ends...I knew there was a better way! Thank you!
I struggle with getting the definition I want with my twist outs but, I think this method just may do the trick! Thank you for sharing can't wait to try
I love the idea of the knots on the ends of the twist, because for some strange reason my hair does not curl at the ends and my twist always look stringy in the ends! So I have to Bantu Knot my twist. I love you guys, thanks👍👍👍
Very nice, learned something new about what you did with ends. Can't do that with my hair yet as I still have relaxed ends that are so straight but will definitely remember this for when I finally have have natural hair again. Thanks for a great video!
Hi am so excited yo reveal the look from your video. I truly appreciate the knot at the ends of twist. It protects my ends and gives that define look. Hope to send a picture. Thanks Natural Friend.
Toni!!! Your twist out on a twist out is everything! Beautiful twists on day one, day two, day three...absolutely love it and will attempt this one for sure!
Beautiful!! Thanks for sharing, I was using rods to curl my ends (heat damage). But I watched your video and I tried knotting the ends and I got better results!! Many Thanks =0)
Yes, this is a great method that I've been using as well for the last couple of months. Just a FYI, you can also use it on flat twist styles, especially if you don't want to use rods or rollers. I've heard it called a hanging Bantu knot. 😄 Toni, your hair always looks great! Luv your tutorials & u are definitely 1 of my faves! SN: Not claiming to be a vegetarian yet but as of now I only eat fish & seafood. If you have vegan recipes you are trying please share! 😄😀☺😁😃
OMG ... THANK YOU for a fully explained twists video!!!! All the videos with a million views never explain what do do with your hair at night the next day (like what products to put in, and I know that seems simple but it's a big deal for a hair noob like me!!!) Insta-subscribed. You deserve more views
Ya’ll were so ahead of the game. I still curl my hair with bantu knots at the end till this day. Thanks Toni 🤍
You guys never go wrong this is so gorgeous
Haha! You're so sweet, thanks for having faith in us.

Really?! People have too much time on their hands. The style isn't trademarked. People love to create unnecessary drama
Bethany Bentley I totally agree with you.
Hmph, you said it! :)

I know your comment is old. But do you ever worry about getting hygral fatigue from spritzing your hair daily?
Experimented and did this technique on a 6 day old braid out. Loved the results, thank you. Keep the great videos coming. :)
Smh. Some people love drama. I loooooovvvveee Toni's hair. It is BEAUTIFUL !!!!! Period. I do a similar method but use rods on the ends. It's great to see other ways n techniques. Keep the great videos. Love you ladies.
I actually started doing this, this summer...glad to see someone else doing this as well!
I just started my natural journey and I was just about to give up BC I am in the stage between long natural hair and short and I don't like doing my hair not an ia hair genius, but watching this made me rethink giving in... Thanks for this tutorial. I mimicked what you did on my hair last night and got sooo many compliments today. Again thanks!!!
Very cute and clever to knot the ends especially for someone like me who can't get the front of my hair to coil like the back.thx for sharing.
I ABSOLUTELY adore this. I'm in the process of redoing my hair and I'm definitely trying this. Thank you!
I've always done full bantu knots on twists for the curly look. I'll have to try knotting just the ends. Thanks for the tip!
Thank you so much. I was looking for a good twist out maintenance video. Other people doing moisturize their hair at night and that made me super nervous lol. I can't think of going 3 days maintaining a twist out and it not being moisturized! Thanks again!
This popped up and my heart dropped. You just gave me LIFE
I've never tried knotting my ends. that is a tip useful and new to me. I look forward to trying this tip out. Thank you!
I just put in twist tonight for a twist out and I did the knots at the end. I hope my twist out looks good tomorrow!
This was a brilliant idea..my hair is so thick that whenever I retwist at night, sometimes the ends unravel a bit. Def going to try this..thanks Toni👍
I love doing this, I never thought about knotting the ends though. I'll have to give it a shot.
This was. Very helpful I usual have to go back through. My entire head. But you show me a new way to keep my twist outs refreshed

Cute style. I remember ***** doing this and her twistouts are always amazing. Your hair looks cute, girl!
The Bantu knot at the end is very clever! I have to try that sometime.
I love the idea of the knots on the ends of the twist, because for some strange reason my hair does not curl at the ends and my twist always look stringy in the ends! So I have to Bantu Knot my twist.
I love you guys, thanks👍👍👍
