The song was made for Whitney, she recorded it for several hours if not days trying to determine, how should I sing it, what key should I hit, what notes suited my voice the best for this part, etc. So Whitney is always going to soubd better on her own songs. Just before unison album, she was still fresh in English.... the commemoration song was pre-recorded and lip-synced as well, the 87 wal fully live when she had again less technique and going full blow all the time with no breaks at all either .
