- Hey folks, just thought I'd start out the new year by publishing a neat little procedural material that creates a Black and White dot pattern you can use as a bump or displacement map, a fac for mixing materials and shaders, and more. Check out the video and see the material below. Just drop it in a KPACK folder along with the thumbnail and you're good to go!
Free on my $1 Patreon (along with other stuff)
I've also uploaded it to the EEVEE+Cycles Materials System folder on Gdrive (if you have purchased EEVEE+Cycles).

super slick Chipp! nice job
Voron-wa? Have I been saying voronoi the wrong way all this time? (Cool material btw)
Hey Chipp! Love your work.
Coming from a background in Fusion 360, machinist, and designer, I've recently dived into rendering, drawn by my experiences as a filmmaker and photographer. I'm now exploring the Eevee + Cycles Materials System add-on in Blender for high-quality renders but I'm keen on adding subtle imperfections like dust or fingerprints to bring a touch of realism to my designs.
Could you direct me to any of your videos where you demonstrate adding custom textures like these within your add-on? My goal is to achieve slight surface imperfections using the addon, as I'm accustomed to the character they add from my photography work.
Despite my focus on lighting and framing, I'm finding Blender's outputs a bit too pristine for my products. I'm hoping to integrate my dust textures into an existing node setup, aiming for a time-efficient workflow while maintaining my materials' realism. Your add-on seems like a perfect fit for this. Thanks!
