    I went from stock to OTT tune a couple months ago. I got the medium throttle response. So much better than stock. Has power, no lag, shifts and downshifts like it should. I love it. But, I did lose about 2 miles per gallon on fuel mileage. Now I'm getting about 16 mpg with 265/70 16s. I live in the Catskill mountains. I'll trade the mileage for power. Thanks!

    I went from kdmax pro to OTT tune a few days ago and I have to say it is hands down better than the kdmax pro tune.
    Torque delivery down low improves driveability greatly. But what really made it better is how it drives on highways/on ramps/steep grades. It doesn't take much effort for the correct downshift to happen (Its not perfect all the time). This makes you feel more confident and not think about how much to push the motor to keep up to speed. The transmission in the right gear in combination with the engines powerband is much smoother and efficient. The kdmax pro would sit in 5th or 6th gear too long which caused lugging and jerking like it's pinging before it decides to downshift. I feel that this is going to be harder on the motor in the long run so more points in reliability for OTT tune. I also tried some radar cruise control and can confirm so far that it doesn't gear hunt as much as stock or kdmax, something everyone will appreciate.

    @ChristopherLeBlanc 2 года назад +5

    Awesome to see some video reviews of tunes out there! Were you comparing OTT v7.0 (i think being the latest) and KDMAX Pro+ or some other version(s) of either? I ask because with the on-going revisions and even soon to be released features on the tuning platforms there will continue to be revs and revs over time. It's critical to know what specific version are being compared and then realize that the creators of each are continuing to refine such that any review is a snapshot in time and potentially not comparing the latest offerings or it becomes outdated.
    Great to have opinions and folks sharing though, it all helps folk make well-informed decisions when they consider price, service, and options!

    • @Bruuuce
      @Bruuuce  2 года назад

      I was comparing the OTT tune to OV tune because they both feel like how the truck should come stock. Ov tune only makes a better response while the OTT tune give you more toque.
