I had a 2020 Tacoma and I put a Sprint Booster on it (same thing as the Pedal Commander). It definitely changes the way the truck responds. The thing to realize with having it on a Tacoma is that although the throttle becomes more responsive, you still have to wait for the transmission to switch gears. Until you get the feel for it, you’ll most likely just rev the engine and not actually accelerate much faster. Play around with the different settings. Eventually, you’ll find the setting you like for optimal performance (it isn’t just the more responsive, the better). I especially liked it when driving slowly. If you’re not going to do a tune, I would definitely recommend a throttle controller.

I’m trying to find an installer closer than having to drive to either Idaho or Oregon. I’m 5 hours from the one in Idaho and 6 hours from the one in Portland. I wish there was someone in my location, which is north central Washington state. I’m 3 hours from Seattle and 3 hours from Spokane.

I did my yesterday, i should do when i got the truck i back in 2021. definitely the ott was the best thing i installed in my truck

OTT for the win! The Tune will not void his warranty. I have a Limited and I have it with zero issues. The Peddle Commander is crap.
