Probably the most authentic video I’ve ever seen! Thanks for highlighting the difficult parts and admitting when there’s another way to do it. The first time I’ve used the jump battery technique to save all the presets too - learn something new every day!
Yeah no problem I try to keep my video simple and to the point. And yup if I knew that box could be pried opened it would been much easier but u always learn from first time!!
Yeah , taking that whole box out is tough. Just take off top and lift battery. Crazy design
Yeah I didn’t wanna damage it but once on the floor it was super easy I know what to do next time it was super cold that day I didn’t wanna hurt my hand pulling it
@@RBTheMechanic good job anyway
Hey got a question autozone and other places told me they won’t install it due to they don’t have the ability to reset battery have u heard of that
Just replaced the battery on my pilot. This helped a lot
Glad u did it urslef!
So helpful ! I have never changed a car battery ever ! This video helped me do it all by myself !!!! Thank you ❤🎉
Yup it’s easy! Great job doing it urself
Thanks for the video. Was just trying to do a simple battery swap and "the box" for the battery threw me off. Weird design, but got it swapped. Thanks so much!
Oh yeah this was my first I was puzzled with the box so u can pry it open half while in the car and take out the only battery
Thanks for your video. Bout to deep dive on your ch! I have a 19 and love to diy whenever I can.
Yup I got few videos on Camrys
Thank you for this. Totally followed it to get my own changed.
Good job!
Thanks for posting this video! Very helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for this video. It was really helpful!
Welcome
Hey Ralph Bob The Mechanic!, I hope you had a good Christmas?, if not?, we got the whole (NEW) year ahead of us!👍👍✌️🍾🥂
Yeah bro had good X-mas. Now waiting on new year
Thank you super simple tutorial.
You are welcome 😊
Thanks bud. Great vid, appreciate you showing the nitty gritty and not glossing over pulling that heavy b!#$& out.
Yeah the fan I feel bad for I don’t think it has much of function it’s not Pc a what we’re they thinking
Thanks for this! It looked scarier than it was. 😂
Yeah it’s not so bad
U can pry open the box so I can just pull the battery out
@@RBTheMechanic that’s exactly what I did. I left the bottom half in with the fan attached.
@@cnun8268 nice good job!!
Good work
Yup thank you by the way as u saw u can pry open the box u don’t need to bring out the bottom half
Yes I left the bottom in
Thanks for the video helped me swap out the battery =) what's the clip part called that broke @2:39 mine did too =S
Sorry idk the name of it
Just a FYI 2017 and up do not have battery codes anymore .you lose no info just taking it out .I replaced mine no issues but took the battery out the box .I didn't take everything out I reinstalled the new battery was good to go no lose of memory or radio code in my 2020 pilot
Some do have navi code
It’s not necessary to take off fan connection. Just terminals, holding nuts and top cover.
Yeah that way also
How charged should a car battery be?
12v
Hello I have a 07 Honda odyssey that needs some work do you have a contact information? I believe I’m close to you
Where ru located in bayonne NJ then we can exchange contacts if ur local
Wtf. All that for a fucking battery.
Yeah man and the little fan it’s so cute
What an stupid design. I just changed the battery on my 2014 Volvo XC60 in 5 minutes. No kidding, from start to finish. It's very easy access and fantastic design.
Yeah and that fan on this one!!! Lol I don’t think it has function
I've bee through a Honda Civic & Accord , a couple of Mazda and Audi. They have all been easy to replace the battery. This Honda pilot is built difficult
@@t5e2 yeah
Horrible design. I've almost lost some nuts while trying to change it. Putting it back is much worse than pulling it out.
Yeah not so bad compaired to other cars like ford
