First video I saw was some dude breaking everything to get to it, pulling out the entire battery compartment and saying "well sometimes that just happens!" THIS video was the antidote. Thank you!
I saw that one too lol he used a mini impact on a plastic nut and then blamed the cold. Lmao I’m actually entertaining myself watching people make a mess of an easy job. 2 so far have removed the entire battery box, instead of just the top. Curious if this one will do the same.
3:55 nice job just removing the top instead of whole box like the other videos. FYI it’s more entertaining watching someone struggle doing it the hard way.
Great video and easy to follow. Do you have a link to the impact bit you're using? Obviously I don't have to use it but I like to be more time efficient with every project =]
I’m not exactly sure what you are referring to. There are no cables relating to the battery that are not the positive/negative cable. I hope this helped
I don’t know if it has a fan, but it definitely has a little hole on the bottom of the battery plastic case which looks like to be directing cool air to the area.
One of the best how to do it videos I have ever seen on RUclips. No fluff just well communicated instructions.👍💪🏻

I appreciate that. I’m glad it helped!
I saw that one too. That why I never trust others working on my car

Thank you! I don’t have a link, but it’s a regular DeWalt drill…with a 10mm deep socket attachment!
Amazing so easy.
Question - does it have any fans for battery vent? Is there any cable we need to connect for the new battery?

Do you know if this vehicle would need a reset/battery calibration after replacing the battery?
Yes. Close to the end of the video I show how to reset the radio
Does this require an idle relearn procedure or does that not apply to this model year?
No it does not, you may have to reset the radio, but that should be all
