Any Honda that has a key fob like this should work. year of the car may vary.
all models of Honda that is EX trim level and above should have a key fob similar to this one in this video.

I learned more in listening to you than the guy that ‘sold’ me my Honda Accord last year. He told me he wouldn’t explain because ‘that’s what the Owner’s Manual is for’......and NO, I have never gone back to that dealership again.

Exactly. You never did it on purpose because it's a stupid feature. I personally hate it and wish you could shut it off.

@@illalwaystaketheb-side4336 what are you talking about? Buying a new car can be a better than used as a long term investment. You can get brand new older models at dealerships for cheaper. The used car market has really inflated prices right now as well.
Window feature has been around for Accord, Pilot and Odyssey since 03 and Ridgeline since 06.

This let all my windows down with my regular key. I found out the hard way. My 5 year old son was playing with my keys and well...it rained in my car a little.
Veteran Honda owners already know this. My 99 Accord EX coupe had remote windows.

Never understood why you can't close the windows up with the keyfob. Had to have automators installed for it to do so. 60$ mod well worth it

My master window switch was broken and just replaced it. Now after pressing the lock button once on the key fob all windows roll up. Btw it's a 2009 accord.

Must an aftermarket module installed. DEI mod added at some point in time possibly (look under the dash or kick panel)

I got a message today that my keyless entry battery was low. I never knew anything about this! I got it open watching a RUclips Video and all kinds of little things fell out. I don't know what goes where, but I put the new battery in and was able to drive the Pilot. Any videos on how to put everything back together would be nice. When I bought the Pilot nobody bothered to tell me about needing a new battery sometime in the future. Thanks for posting the video it is helpful I just need a little assistance with putting everything back together after changing the battery if things fall out.

No luck on my 2014 Civic LX, but that's probably a good thing. My trunk opened itself a couple times. Getting a rubber key cover and losing sixty pounds helped a lot. 😆
My 2007 and 2015 Accords did (does) the remote roll down. I’m trying the roll up tomorrow.

I have a 2016 crv and a different fob than in this video. Occasionally I will accidentally start the car remotely in my pocket while walking away from it. My fob doesn't have the remote start button. I haven't been able to figure out the key press combination that's happening in my hand and pocket. Would be nice to know how to do it so i can use it as a remote start.
This was so helpful. I have a remote just like in your video. Please explain why key fob locks all my doors except the drivers door? When I exit the car, the remote locks all doors except driver's door. I have to use the key on the remote to lock and unlock. Please Help Now, I just bought the car.
You would have to set up in the vehicle settings on your screen about how you want your doors to lock and unlock.

On my 2012 accord, if I hit the lock button twice and hold, the windows go up. I can use the key in the door to roll down all the windows and put them back up.

If you do the remote window opening thing, can you just go in the car and close them with the buttons on the driver's door or do you HAVE to take the key out of the fob, etc.
If you go inside you can use the buttons in the car. But from outside you will have to take the key out as I showed in this video.

Help! I have had my key fob in my purse inside the car and accidentally locked myself out of the car. I didn’t think the car would lock with the key inside or that close to the car. Can you advise me on this? If the key is in the car and I pull on the handle the car doesn’t open.
Great video!! I try this now except car is far. :-) Took car to dealership since remote doesn't work. Doesn't need batteries. Told replace inside door door control almost 700.00!! Yikes!! When you open doors lights do not go on inside. Another 600.00 quote!!
Vents for heater mode doesn't work on drivers side. Add hundreds of dollars more. I need to get these fixed!! No money to fix!! Old school use key to get in.
So, this means the vehicle is equipped with a remote starter and alarm system thus it seems it's also equipped with comfort function for windows roll up and down functions. Roll up and roll down the windows should probably be a timed (-) command to the central door locking wires. All this differs from country to country.
I don’t think it has any windows rollup option.
Personally, i find the open-all-the-windows feature to be extremely irritating. I've come out to my car in the middle of winter on more than one occasion to find all the windows down. Thank goodness it didn't snow...
I guess it depends on how you carry your key fob.
It shouldn't. It's really poor design if it can be activated by accident. Not useful and poorly implemented.

Honda should really make the window up feature the same as the the window down. The newest cars have hidden the key cylinder behind the handle so sticking in the key is more trouble now.
Try the double tap and hold on the lock button on the key like he did on the unlock button, it works with my 2016 Honda vezel

How can I deactivate the "open windows" function on the key fob? Have almost had rain inside 3 times due to accidentally pressing these buttons in my pocket.
the windows one was insane
It’s too easy to accidentally open all your windows because it’s using the same key for both steps. I had this happen to me when the key was in my pocket. Thankfully I noticed before it started raining. Honda should change the steps so it takes at least two different buttons like when using the remote start feature. For example instead of unlock, unlock (hold) they could make it lock, unlock, unlock (hold). The chances of having the two buttons pressed while in your pocket is far less likely than the unlock button getting tapped then held while in your pocket.

Is there a way to bypass the windows and moon roof open from the remote? I accidentally hit the button when the remote was in my purse and it opened all windows and moon roof, luckily the car was in my garage, I can’t imagine if it was outside in the rain when the moon roof was opened. Please advise!

When I hold the panic button down waiting for my car to beep, the car never beeps but the horn actually goes off. When I tried again I only pressed the panic button quickly and then followed the remaining steps and it worked.

It only works with the 5 buttons fob. And yes you can program from third party

Ok so with 2020 accord hybrid why is it that I can unlock all doors with key fob in pocket and grabbing drivers door handle, but if I’m on passenger side and grab door handle I have to open front passenger door and hit the unlock button before I can access the back passenger door. My hope is that you can explain to me how to get it to unlock all the doors without using key fob or having to open passenger door then unlocking all doors. Thank you for your time.
Is there a way to disable the auto window down feature. My sons car last night must have had a pocket dial and all windows and sun roof were open this morning.
My mom did it once by mistake. All the windows were down, with sunroof open. Sad thing is it snowed that night. Only noticed it the next morning

Turns out the window feature is not just with the smart key, it also works with the normal key (the non-smart key fob).
I have a 2019 Civic Sport and the steps still work. The rolling the windows back up steps is actually a lot easier since the key doesn't have to be removed from the fob.
I actually learned about the window feature because of a friend of mine that has the 2010 Accord model and I tried it with my 2015 Accord and I feel like a rich dude everytime I walk towards my car.

Some of the Toyota remotes have the ability to turn off the signal to save battery or prevent theft. Why doesn't Honda have it?

Make sure to keep it off before u turn your engine or keep it in the cool settings before turning engine off.

My Civic told me my FOB battery was getting low months before it actually died, so I had plenty of time to get a new battery. I like that feature.
